Magic exists and those who wield it are called mages, but many years ago these mages were branded as heretics and instead were labled, "witches". Today, these "witches" number less then a thousand and are being hunted to neigh extinction. In order to prolong their demise and strike back against their foes the mages had to get creative and so they did. In their desperation they created something they didn''''t understand and used it in a way that only brought death and destruction. They created the beings known as "Nephilim". Nephilim are mages that were created artificially using the DNA of two powerful mages, combined with the essence of a "Soul Stone". Soulstones are a magic crystalline structure that houses corrupt spirits.
