The invention of solar cells in 1883 marked the beginning of a technological revolution for the world at large. Solar technology took the world by storm, becoming far and away the main method of power for the civilized world. In the early 1900s, a method was developed to create holes in the Earth''''s ozone layer, which would allow for more efficient power gathering by solar panels. These holes in the sky, often called daytime constellations, allowed for a much greater yield. However, people began getting sick or being burned more frequently as time passed. As more holes were poked in the sky, the worse the problems became. Eventually, covered cities became the norm in the parts of the world that suffered from these issues. Blue paneling covers miles of city, the only exposed sections are the power plants that continue to thrive and grow, expanding their power.
