Samsara is a death world, full of genetically modified chimera that can perform supernatural feats through the use of qi. Humans, however, have extech - extraterrestrial technology - that allows them to keep the wilderness at bay. The only downside is the fact that most extech is powered by coins - quartz coin batteries - which humans cannot produce on their own.
