Somehow finding himself in a magical world, wilderness firefighter John Calhoun is immediately attacked by a dragon. One that he somehow manages to kill with the greatest tool of any forest firefighter, a shovel. Now, he feels obligated to take care of the dragons youngling while discovering and experimenting with his strange new draconic powers.
