One day a massive rift appeared in the sky, at first people thought it was the end of the world. In a way it was, but it wasn''''t right away. After a few months of simply floating above the Earth the rift began to eject millions upon millions of crystals, each crystal would be bound to a single User. Once a user has bonded with a crystal they are summoned to a new world simply known as the Ancestral Lands. A world seemingly locked in the 9th century, however unlike Earth this world had magick, and all of the different gods of the world lived, the Greek, Scandinavian, Celtic, Hindu, Shinto, and on and on there were many pantheons that wished for their people to survive and dominate the world but are restricted to moving through champions.
