In a land much different from ours there are three casts of society, those born with wings and magic, those who teach themselves how to use magic, and those who simply exist. After two great armies went to war, their entire forces are lost to one man who was born a flightless but became the strongest mage the world had ever seen. This is the story of Robin Tregen, a young orphan whose father was known to be this great mage and the root cause of a terroristic event currently known as "The Hollow". This event brought the two nations together since both lacked an army to defend themselves and now has brought up new armies to protect themselves from the outside world- a place filled with Anglons, or those born with wings. The story will follow Robin as he learns magic and about the world- and the secrets that lay within. He will learn of his fathers goals and why he massacred whole armies, have to chose sides in a moral battle that has no victor, and ultimately find out who he truly is at his core- and if he has the guts to do what needs to be done.
