It is 2003 in the quaint little burg of Toronto, Ontario and local loner Kay Norkemasis moonlights as the liquid cryptid Ghost Thing, using his aquatic powers for his own amusement and needs. Toronto is home to many villains, though, and through the encouragement of a friend, Kay decides to use his powers to be a superhero.
