  Normally seen clothed in white, Lachesis is the measurer of the thread spun on Clotho's spindle, and in some texts, determines Destiny, or thread of life. In the story, she's the four eyed young woman whose function was blatantly being taken by Clotho.

  

  Legion (from legio "military levy, ", from legere "to choose") normally indicates the basic unit recruited specifically from Roman citizens.
