Chapter 119: Capturing Tōjō Hideki

Tōjō Hideki stood up and saw the two off to the door, watching as they disappeared into the courtyard. He stood under the eaves of the house, looking at the several street lamps in the courtyard, lost in thought.

Just then, a commotion was heard at the door, followed by a gunshot. Toyo's heart skipped a beat as he thought of rushing to the door to see what was happening. But before he could move, a group of Japanese soldiers burst in, guns at the ready, and rushed straight towards him.

"Bastards, what are you going to do?" Tōjō Hideki had just cursed when he was caught and knocked to the ground.

Tōjō Hideki struggled for a while but couldn't break free, after all he was already a 60-year-old old man, how could he be the opponent of this group of wolf-like soldiers, and soon he was tied up tightly.

Kiyomi Shimizu walked up to Hideki Tojo and said, "I'm terribly sorry, General Tojo, but I have been ordered to arrest you. Would you please come with me?"

"You're from the Imperial Guard Division, aren't you?" Tōjō Hideki had recovered from his initial shock and was now calm, befitting a former Prime Minister of Japan and General of the Imperial Japanese Army, with an extraordinary strong mind.

  "Yes, General." Kiyomi Shimizu replied.

"I want to know who ordered you to arrest me." Tōjō Hideki knew that there was no use talking with these soldiers, he had to ask about the current situation in order to prepare for what's next.

"You'll be able to see her soon." Kiyomi Shimizu replied.

The soldiers pushed Tōjō Hideki out, and when they reached the gate, Tōjō found that Shūmei ōhashi and Tsutomu Saitō had also been seized by the soldiers, while his second son, Hidetoshi Tōjō, lay in a pool of blood on the ground.

Tōjō Hideki's eyes were wide with rage as he shouted at Kiyoshima Yukie, "Why did you have to kill Teruo? Why did you have to kill my son?"

"I'm terribly sorry, General Tojo. Your son just pulled out a gun to stop us from entering, so we shot him dead." Saying this, he ignored the already tearful Tojo Hideki and ordered his soldiers to carry Tojo, Shimada Tamotsu, and Minami Jiro onto the vehicle together.

The car drove away quickly, leaving behind a blood-soaked corpse outside Tōjō Hideki's residence.

After the car stopped, Tōjō Hideki was lifted down. Tōjō Hideki took a glance around, he was too familiar with this place, it was the Prime Minister's residence of Japan, where he had lived for 4 years as the former Prime Minister of Japan.

Soon, Tōjō Hideki was brought to the office of Miao Yang by soldiers. Tōjō Hideki stared at the small Kojima Kiyoshi sitting behind the desk, and for a moment he was stunned. He really couldn't believe that Kojima Kiyoshi dared to do such a bold thing.

Looking at the old man in front of him, wearing black-rimmed glasses and a slightly elegant appearance. But this old man was one of the three major fascist leaders along with Hitler and Mussolini during World War II, and was one of the primary war criminals responsible for Japan's militaristic invasion of Asia and China, resulting in the deaths of tens of millions of people.

Tōjō Hideki was still tightly bound and placed in a chair in the middle of the office. Miao Yang waved his hand, letting the soldiers and secretaries all leave, instructing them that no matter what sounds they heard, they were not to come in. Miao Yang stood up, walked around Tōjō's chair in a circle, carefully sizing up this so-called "Razor General" and devil-like figure.

Tojo Hideki's heart was filled with resentment due to his son's death, and he couldn't help but want to kill Kojima Kiyoshige. His two eyes stared at Muyo through the lenses of his glasses, his mind constantly cursing him.

"Mr. Tōjō Hideki, nice to meet you for the first time." Muyang stopped in front of Tōjō Hideki and said with a smile.

Moyou's words made Tōjō Hideki pause for a moment. Kojima Kikuo was 4 years older than Tōjō, and both were Japanese Army Generals who had been through so much in the Japanese political arena, how could it be their first meeting? Moyou's words left Tōjō extremely perplexed, his face involuntarily revealing a puzzled expression.

"Kojima Koku, why are you arresting me? What right do you have to arrest me? Aren't you afraid of the Imperial Army's revenge? Do you think you can stand up against the entire Imperial Army? I really admire your courage." Tōjō Hideki said with a vicious tone.

Moyou leaned in close to Tōjō Hideki and said, "Today I didn't just catch you, I also caught Sugiyama Hajime, caught Maebara Kichirō, and the entire Army Ministry and General Staff, as well as all the army generals in Tokyo. How's that? My guts aren't small, are they?" Moyou's face revealed a few hints of a triumphant smile.

Tōjō Hideki's face changed color as he listened, and he really didn't dare to believe that Kojima Kiyoshi would be so bold, daring to oppose the entire Imperial Army.

"Kojima Koushou, even if you have the support of the imperial family, you can't possibly rival the entire army of the empire. Although there aren't many soldiers in the homeland, what about the millions fighting abroad? Haven't you thought about the consequences of doing this? Even if you capture us, it's impossible to destroy the military's power. Wake up, Kojima Koushou, your methods are too low-level." said Toujou Hideki.

Muyang burst out laughing after hearing Toujo's words, his laughter was so hearty that he almost couldn't catch his breath, and only stopped when he was slightly panting.

Moyang leaned in close to Tojo Hideki's ear and whispered, "After dawn breaks, I will announce to the outside world that the former Prime Minister of the Empire, General Tojo Hideki, secretly plotted a rebellion, sending someone to assassinate His Majesty the Emperor. The participants include Sugiyama Gen, Matsuura Mitsuru, and many other generals from your army faction. What do you think the consequences will be?"

"This is a false accusation. We didn't assassinate His Majesty the Emperor, and no one else would believe your absurd story." Tōjō Hideki said through gritted teeth.

"Yes, I am the one who framed you. I know that His Majesty the Emperor was not killed by you, because His Majesty the Emperor was killed by someone I sent." These few words were spoken softly in Tōjō Hideki's ear by Mù Yáng, but to Tōjō Hideki's ears, they were like a thunderclap on a clear day. His eyes widened in incredulity as he stared at Mù Yáng.

Before Tōjō Hideki could speak up, Muyang continued, "Do you know why I said it was our first meeting?"

Tōjō Hidemitsu was also wondering about this question, his eyes fixed on Muyang, waiting for an answer. In his heart, a very bad idea emerged, which made Tōjō Hidemitsu himself feel chills all over his body.

Muyang whispered in a gloomy and low tone beside Tōjō Hidemi's ear, "Did you guess something? Hehe, I can tell you that I'm not Kojima Akira. That Kojima Akira is already dead."

"Who are you?" Tōjō Hideki's face showed a terrified expression.

He was terrified not because Muyang said he had killed Koizumi, but because the person in front of him actually had such a heaven-defying method. After killing Koizumi, he could transform into Koizumi and control the entire cabinet, stirring up trouble in Japan and plunging the country into an unprecedented crisis. If things continued like this, Japan might really fall into an irretrievable abyss.
