9. About Relationships

Akio is a 50-year-old renowned pianist born in Japan and currently living there with his family. Despite his quirk, Nature Elements, which allows him to manipute elements based on the current season and weather, Akio chose not to pursue hero work. Instead, inspired by his grandfather, a famous violinist, Akio dedicated his life to music, becoming a world-css performer.

As a father, Akio is a strict, disciplined figure who values tradition and hard work, qualities he inherited from his own upbringing. While he initially struggled to understand Aldon's choices, particurly his sexuality, Akio’s love for his children has always been unwavering, and he has grown to respect Aldon’s individuality over time. He instilled in all his children a strong appreciation for the arts, pushing them toward excellence while also providing a foundation of care and stability. Though his demeanor can be stern, Akio’s actions reveal a deeply protective and loving heart, making him both the guiding hand and the steady anchor of the family.

EXTRAHis quirk caused his eyes to take on multiple colours at once.

A Quiet Afternoon in the Music Room (Aldon 20yo)

Aldon sat at the grand piano in his parents’ music room, fingers lightly grazing the keys as he pyed a slow, mencholic melody. His father, Akio, stood by the window, arms crossed, watching the snowfall beyond the gss. The room was bathed in soft, golden light, and the faint scent of polished wood lingered in the air.

“You’ve improved,” Akio finally said, his deep voice breaking the silence. He turned to face Aldon, his expression as composed as ever. “Your technique has matured. Your emotions, though…” He trailed off, stepping closer.

Aldon gnced up, his fingers pausing mid-note. “What about them?”

Akio’s gaze softened, though his posture remained rigid. “You’re holding back. Music isn’t just skill, Aldon. It’s expression. You’ve been carrying something heavy, and it’s clouding your sound.”

Aldon sighed, closing the piano lid gently. “It’s not that simple, Dad.”

Akio sat in the armchair near the piano, his hands resting on his knees. He studied Aldon with a mix of scrutiny and concern. “Life rarely is. But you can’t let it control you. Your choices, your path—they’re yours. Even if I didn’t understand them before, I do now.”

Aldon blinked, surprised by his father’s words. “You… what are you saying?”

Akio leaned forward, csping his hands together. “I’ve been stubborn. Set in my ways, as you like to call it. But seeing the man you’ve become—your resilience, your determination—it’s made me realize something. I may not agree with every choice you’ve made, but I’m proud of you, Aldon.”

The weight in Aldon’s chest seemed to lighten, though he masked it with a wry smile. “That means a lot coming from you, Dad.”

Akio smirked faintly, a rare expression. “Don’t let it go to your head.” He stood, pcing a hand on Aldon’s shoulder. “Now, py it again. This time, let me hear what you’re really feeling.”

Aldon hesitated for a moment, then nodded. He reopened the piano lid and pced his hands on the keys. As he began to py, the melody shifted, growing more vibrant, more raw. Akio listened intently, his sharp eyes softening with each note.

For the first time in years, they shared a moment unclouded by expectations—just a father and son connected by music and understanding.

Victoria is a 49-year-old former opera singer born in Italy and now residing in Japan with her family. With her quirk, Sound Waves Manipution, Victoria was able to enhance her powerful singing voice, captivating audiences worldwide. However, she set aside her promising career when she became a mother, choosing to devote herself fully to raising her children.

Victoria is the heart of the Ito Pavus family—a kind, nurturing, and empathetic presence who ensures her children are prepared for life’s challenges. She encouraged them to explore their passions while teaching them practical skills, such as cooking and household tasks, fostering independence. Victoria's warmth and attentiveness were especially evident in her retionship with Aldon, whom she supported unconditionally. Her intuition allowed her to understand and guide him through difficult times, always ready with comfort and reassurance.

Despite her graceful and caring nature, Victoria is also a determined and resilient woman, blending softness with strength. Her love for her family is boundless, making her the emotional cornerstone that keeps them united.

A Quiet Evening in the Garden (Aldon 14yo)caro = dear

The garden was peaceful, the cool evening air filled with the hum of cicadas. Fourteen-year-old Aldon sat on the porch steps, his knees pulled up as he gazed at the stars. Beside him, the acceptance letter to UA staring back at him.

Victoria stepped outside, holding two mugs of warm milk. She paused for a moment, watching her youngest son bathed in the soft glow of moonlight. His expression was thoughtful, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

“Big thoughts tonight, caro?” she asked gently, setting one mug beside him before sitting down.

Aldon gnced up, startled out of his reverie. “Hey, Mama. Yeah… I guess I’ve just been thinking about a lot.”

She gave him a knowing look, sipping her milk. “UA is a big step. You must be so proud of yourself—you worked so hard for this.”

“I am,” Aldon admitted, his smile growing. “But…” He hesitated.

Victoria tilted her head, waiting patiently.

“I was wondering,” Aldon began, his voice soft, “do you think Touya would be proud of me?”

Victoria’s chest tightened, but her smile didn’t falter. “Oh, Aldon,” she said warmly, pcing a hand on his shoulder. “He’d be more than proud. He always believed in you, remember?”

Aldon’s smile widened. “Yeah. And… I’ve been thinking.” He turned to face her fully, his eyes glowing with determination. “I think I already know what I want my hero name to be.”

Victoria’s eyebrows lifted in curiosity. “Oh? Do tell.”

“Firefly,” Aldon said, his voice steady but tinged with emotion. “I want to use the name Touya gave me. I think… it’ll remind me of him. And I want to make him proud, wherever he is.”

Victoria’s smile softened, her heart swelling with pride and love. “That’s a beautiful name, Aldon. It’s perfect for you.”

“You think so?” he asked, a hint of uncertainty creeping in.

“I know so,” she said firmly, wrapping her arm around him. “You’ll be a hero who lights up the world. And with a name like that, how could you not?”

Aldon leaned into her, his confidence bolstered by her words. “Thanks, Mama. I can’t wait to see it written on my hero license someday.”

Victoria kissed his temple, her voice warm and full of affection. “And I’ll be the first to frame it and hang it on the wall.”

The two of them sat together, sipping their milk and gazing at the stars. The ache of Touya’s absence lingered, but it was softened by the thought of carrying his memory forward.

Naoki is the 30-year-old, eldest child of the Ito Pavus family, born in Italy and now living in Japan. With his quirk, Wind Manipution, Naoki can control and generate wind, a skill he uses creatively in his work as a renowned conductor. His leadership and precision on stage reflect the discipline and responsibility he’s carried since childhood, traits instilled in him by their father, Akio.

As the oldest sibling, Naoki feels a strong sense of duty to protect and guide his younger brothers and sister. While he inherited a hardworking and perfectionist streak from Akio, he bances it with the warmth and care he learned from their mother, Victoria. Naoki’s protective instincts, often manifest in subtle ways—offering advice, encouragement, and a steady presence in moments of doubt.

Despite his serious and composed exterior, Naoki is deeply proud of his family and takes joy in their accomplishments, often acting as a grounding force amidst the chaos of their individual pursuits. He’s a natural leader, both in his professional and personal life, embodying the steadfast and reliable anchor of the Ito Pavus family.

A Breezy Afternoon in Japan (Aldon 5yo)

Twelve-year-old Naoki stood in the middle of a grassy park in Musutafu, his arms crossed as he watched his five-year-old brother, Aldon, struggle with the string of a bright red kite. The little boy’s tiny hands were hopelessly tangled, his determined pout deepening with each failed attempt.

“Aldon,” Naoki called out, half-ughing, “you’re going to tie yourself into a knot if you keep going like that.”

Aldon stomped his foot, clutching the string tighter. “I can do it by myself!”

Naoki sighed and walked over, crouching beside him. “I know you want to, but if you let me help, we can get it flying way faster. Deal?”

Aldon looked up at his big brother, his lip quivering for a moment before he finally relented with a small nod. “Fine. But only if I get to hold the string first!”

“Deal.” Naoki smiled, gently untangling the string. “You know, back in Italy, we used to fly kites like this with Mama and Papa. They’d always let me hold it first.”

“Did you tangle it like me?” Aldon asked, wide-eyed.

Naoki chuckled. “Sometimes. But Papa was stricter about teaching me, and I learned fast. You’ve got it easier, kid.”

Aldon puffed up his cheeks. “I don’t think it’s easy at all!”

Naoki grinned and stood, holding the kite upright. “All right, let’s show this kite who’s boss. When the wind picks up, I’ll toss it up, and you’ll keep the string steady. Got it?”

Aldon nodded, clutching the spool tightly. “Got it!”

Naoki raised his hand, activating his quirk. A steady gust of wind swept through the park, rustling the grass and lifting the kite into the air. It soared higher and higher, the red fabric standing out against the blue sky.

“It’s flying! Naoki, look!” Aldon squealed, his face lighting up with pure joy.

Naoki stepped behind him, guiding his little hands on the spool. “See? I told you we’d get it up there. Now, let out a little string and keep it steady.”

Aldon followed his brother’s instructions, his ughter ringing out as the kite danced in the wind. “You’re the best, Naoki! I love you!”

Naoki froze for a second, his heart swelling at the unexpected decration. He smirked, ruffling Aldon’s hair. “I love you too, little guy. Don’t tell the others, but you’re my favorite.”

Aldon giggled, clutching the spool tightly. “I won’t tell! Promise!”

Naoki leaned back, watching his little brother’s joy as the kite soared higher. Moments like these made all the responsibility of being the oldest worthwhile. “Now, let’s see if we can get this thing to touch the clouds before Mama calls us for dinner.”

As they stood together in the park, the kite soaring high above them, Naoki felt a quiet pride. No matter where they lived—Italy or Japan—some things, like the bond between brothers, never changed.

Yuki, a 27-year-old twin of Yori and the second son of the Ito Pavus family, was born in Italy and now lives in Japan. His quirk, Storm Cloud, creates a small floating cloud that reflects his emotions, from calm and clear when he’s content to dark and stormy when he’s upset. This unique ability pairs well with his role as the co-founder, guitarist, and occasional vocalist of a successful rock band as it can show his mood during practices. Yuki’s music serves as his outlet for expression, blending his brooding creativity with raw talent.

Often seen as the more pessimistic twin, Yuki has a dry sense of humor and a reserved demeanor. However, beneath his stoic exterior lies a deeply caring and loyal heart, especially toward his siblings. He shows his affection in understated ways, like quiet advice or simply being present when they need him. Yuki’s bond with Aldon is one of teasing yet protective care, bancing the role of a big brother with his own unique style of support.

Though he may appear aloof at times, Yuki’s passion for music and his family reveals a depth that resonates with those who take the time to know him. He’s the quiet strength of the Ito Pavus family, offering his grounded perspective and sharp wit whenever it’s needed most.

Yori, the other 27-year-old twin of Yuki and only daughter of the Ito Pavus family, shares a vibrant and cheerful contrast to her brother Yuki. Born in Italy and now residing in Japan, Yori uses her quirk, Water Waves, to summon and control water with graceful movements—a perfect match for her career as a professional dancer. Her performances are renowned for their elegance and dynamic energy, often incorporating her quirk to create breathtaking visual dispys.

Yori’s boundless optimism and bubbly personality make her the life of any room she enters. She’s always had a nurturing side, particurly toward her youngest brother, Aldon, whom she treated like the little sister she always wanted. From braiding his hair to pying dress-up, she doted on him as a child, and her pyful affection has remained a constant in their retionship.

Though Yori is lighthearted and fun, she’s also fiercely dedicated and hardworking, mirroring her father’s drive and her mother’s warmth. She brings a unique energy to the Ito Pavus family, bancing Yuki’s introspection with her lively spirit, and acts as a source of encouragement and joy for her siblings. Yori’s unshakable positivity and compassion make her a beacon of light for those around her.

A Rainy Afternoon Indoors (Aldon 14yo)

The sound of rain pattering against the windows filled the Ito household as fourteen-year-old Aldon sat cross-legged on the living room floor. Scattered around him were papers filled with costume sketches and notes, his brow furrowed in concentration as he doodled ideas for his hero outfit.

Yuki, now eighteen, lounged on the couch nearby with his guitar, plucking a mellow tune. His storm cloud hovered zily above him, a faint mist curling around its edges. Across the room, Yori danced to the rhythm, her movements fluid and light despite the confined space. Small droplets of water followed her graceful steps, shimmering in the dim light.

“You’re gonna wear that?” Yuki teased, nodding toward Aldon’s test sketch. “Looks like a rejected ninja costume.”

Aldon huffed, holding up his drawing defensively. “It’s practical! Not everyone needs to look fshy, you know.”

“Practical’s boring,” Yori chimed in, spinning to a stop and leaning over Aldon’s shoulder. “You should add something fun! Maybe some sparkles or—oh, how about some water designs? I can help!”

Aldon rolled his eyes, but he couldn’t hide the smile tugging at his lips. “Sparkles? Really, Yori?”

“Yes, really!” she said with a grin, ruffling his hair. “You’re going to be a hero. You should stand out!”

“I don’t need sparkles to stand out,” Aldon shot back, ughing.

Yuki leaned forward, his guitar resting against his p. “She’s not entirely wrong, though. You could add something to make it more you. Like, I don’t know, fmes that don’t look like they came out of a cartoon.”

Aldon narrowed his eyes at his brother, though the corner of his mouth twitched in amusement. “Thanks for the expert advice, Mr. RockStar.”

Yuki smirked, shrugging. “Hey, just trying to help. You’re the one asking for our opinions.”

“Wait!” Yori suddenly excimed, snapping her fingers. “I have an idea! Why don’t you include a little firefly emblem somewhere? It could be, like, your signature thing!”

Aldon blinked, surprised by the suggestion. “A firefly?”

“Yeah!” Yori said, flopping onto the floor beside him. “It’s perfect. Just like your hero name!”

Aldon’s cheeks flushed slightly, but he nodded. “That’s… actually a good idea.”

Yuki leaned back with a grin. “Wow, she’s finally useful.”

“Hey!” Yori tossed a nearby pillow at him, making Yuki ugh as he dodged it.

Aldon shook his head, smiling at their antics. “You two are impossible.”

“Impossible but helpful,” Yori said proudly, sticking out her tongue.

Yuki’s cloud shifted to a lighter hue, almost clear, as he strummed a bright chord on his guitar. “Let’s call it teamwork. Now, you’d better hurry up with that design, little brother. You’ve got a legacy to build, and we expect nothing less than the best.”

Aldon’s smile widened, warmth blooming in his chest. “Thanks, guys. I mean it.”

Yuki gave him a small nod, and Yori wrapped an arm around his shoulders, squeezing him affectionately.

“No matter what,” Yori said with a wink, “your twin cheerleaders have got your back.”

Aldon ughed, feeling lighter despite the rain outside. With their support, he felt ready to take on anything the future might throw his way.

Fuyuto is a 23-year-old pro hero specializing in rescue missions, working primarily in mountainous regions. Born and raised in Musutafu, he grew up strong, confident, and intelligent, often showcasing his determination and sharp instincts. His quirk, Por Bear, grants him enhanced strength, smell, endurance, and cold resistance, making him an ideal hero for harsh and rugged terrains.

In his youth, Fuyuto’s confidence sometimes veered into arrogance, which led to a rocky retionship with Aldon, whom he bullied during their childhood. However, their dynamic shifted after a pivotal confrontation during the UA Sports Festival, where Aldon’s uncontrolled quirk left Fuyuto with burn scars. This moment of vulnerability fostered mutual respect and an eventual friendship, which briefly blossomed into a romantic retionship during their final year at UA.

Despite their breakup, Fuyuto and Aldon remain on good terms, with Fuyuto often reflecting on the lessons he learned from their time together. While his exterior can seem brash, Fuyuto’s actions reveal a deeply loyal and protective nature, especially toward those he cares about. His career as a rescue hero exemplifies his commitment to using his strength to save lives, bancing his rugged demeanor with a genuine desire to make a difference.

The Aftermath of the Sports Festival (Aldon 15yo)

The nurse’s office was quiet except for the steady ticking of a clock and the faint sound of rustling as Recovery Girl tended to Fuyuto’s burns. Aldon sat on the opposite bed, his face pale and drenched in sweat. His breathing was shallow, his body still trembling from the overwhelming use of his quirk. His gaze was fixed on his hands, now tightly gripping the edge of the bed.

The memory of the fire lion fshed in his mind—the heat, the roar, the way it had lunged at Fuyuto with a ferocity he couldn’t control. He swallowed hard, guilt threatening to choke him.

“Hey,” Fuyuto’s voice broke the silence, hoarse but light, with a hint of his usual humor. “You look worse than me.”

Aldon flinched, hesitating before gncing up. Fuyuto sat on his bed, bandages covering the burns on his face and neck. Despite the pain he must have been in, there was a faint grin on his face.

“I’m so sorry,” Aldon whispered, his voice shaky. “I… I didn’t mean for any of that to happen. I—”

Fuyuto raised a hand, cutting him off. “Stop. You don’t have to apologize.”

  “But—”

“I said stop.” Fuyuto leaned back against the headboard, his grin softening into something more genuine. “I guess… I had it coming, huh?”

Aldon blinked, confused. “What are you talking about?”

Fuyuto gestured to his bandaged neck. “Now we’re even with the scars. You’ve got yours, and I’ve got mine.”

“That’s not the same!” Aldon excimed, guilt and frustration bubbling up. “I lost control. I could’ve killed you!”

Fuyuto chuckled, though it turned into a slight wince. “Yeah, you could’ve. But you didn’t. And hey, I pushed your buttons, didn’t I? I wanted to see how far I could go. Guess I found out.”

Aldon’s hands tightened into fists. “That doesn’t make it okay. I’m supposed to be better than this. If Aizawa-sensei hadn’t stopped me...”

“Stop beating yourself up,” Fuyuto interrupted, his tone more serious now. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “I was an ass. I’ve been an ass to you for years. And today, I pushed too far. So… I’m sorry, too.”

Aldon stared at him, the weight of his guilt and anger slowly lifting. “You’re… apologizing? Seriously?”

“Yeah, don’t get used to it.” Fuyuto smirked, but there was no malice in it this time. “Look, what happened out there—it was scary as hell, but it wasn’t all bad. That fire lion? Kinda badass, not gonna lie.”

Aldon managed a small, hesitant smile. “You think so?”

“Definitely. If I weren’t the one it was trying to eat, I would’ve cheered for it,” Fuyuto joked, earning a soft ugh from Aldon.

The tension in the room eased, repced by something warmer, something fragile but real.

“So,” Fuyuto started, fshing a lopsided grin. “Let’s call it a fresh start?”

Aldon hesitated, then nodded slowly. “Yeah. A fresh start.”

Fuyuto held out a hand, and Aldon reached across the small gap between their beds to shake it.

From that day on, the dynamic between them shifted. What started as rivalry turned into a tentative friendship. Over the next year, they grew closer, their bond deepening as they supported each other through the challenges of UA.

Rex is a 25-year-old with a stoic and mysterious demeanor, shaped by a painful and traumatic past. Born on May 1st in America, he was sold as a child to a vilin organization in Japan, where his quirk, Bck Mamba, was exploited to produce venom. His venom, while deadly to others, left him in constant pain as a child until he became immune and pain numb. After escaping the organization at 15, Rex was recruited by the Hero Public Safety Commission (HPSC) as an assassin under the code name Basilisk, though he operated with his own moral compass.

Now living a quieter life, Rex works at Vanaheim, a music store, and has adopted two sisters, Mio and Mayu, whom he rescued from human traffickers. Fiercely loyal and protective of those he cares about, Rex maintains a calm, collected exterior, though his dry humor occasionally slips through. With a love for sunlight, motorbikes, and music, Rex finds soce in his structured yet solitary lifestyle, often hiding his softer side behind a turtleneck and facemask.

Mayu, a 13-year-old girl with long blonde hair, white eyes, and a freckled face, is the quieter and more introspective of the twin sisters adopted by Rex. Born blind, Mayu possesses a unique quirk called Fortune Teller, which allows her to glimpse one significant future event in someone’s life upon touching their hand. This event is often tied to their deepest desires, dreams, or fears, though Mayu doesn’t control what she sees or the details of the vision.

Despite her quiet demeanor, Mayu has a strong emotional intelligence and often provides thoughtful insight to those around her. She shares a deep, inseparable bond with her twin sister Mio, relying on her not just as a guide but as her anchor in the world. Together, they navigate challenges with resilience, showing the strength of their sibling connection.

Mio, also 13 years old, has long blonde hair, striking blue eyes, and a freckled face. She is the brighter and more outgoing of the twins, often acting as the spokesperson for herself and her sister Mayu. Mio’s quirk, Birth, allows her to create a child from the DNA of two people, a gift she views as something deeply personal and meaningful. She aspires to become a nurse someday, using her ability to bring joy to others.

Mio is fiercely protective of Mayu, taking on the role of both companion and guardian. Her cheerful personality and caring nature make her a source of light for those around her, bancing out Mayu’s introspection. The bond between the sisters is unshakable, and Mio’s determination to ensure Mayu’s happiness and safety drives many of her actions.

Fate in the Mall (Aldon 20yo)

The bustling shopping mall was alive with the chatter of families, the hum of distant music, and the faint aroma of food wafting from the food court. Aldon adjusted the Oni mask resting on his face, his hero costume neatly tailored to bance practicality and style. His patrol had been quiet so far—nothing out of the ordinary. That was, until he noticed two young girls wandering hand in hand near a map of the mall.

They stood out—not because of their long blond hair and freckled faces, but because of the way they carried themselves. The one girl, her blue eyes sharp with determination, had her arm protectively around the other one, whose milky white eyes gazed unseeing at their surroundings. It was clear they were lost.

Aldon approached cautiously, crouching slightly to appear less intimidating. “Hey there,” he said, offering a kind smile. “You two look like you might need some help. Are you lost?”

Mio immediately stepped in front of Mayu, her small frame stiffening as her blue eyes narrowed. “We’re fine,” she said sharply, her voice firm for a 10-year-old. “We don’t need any help.”

Aldon blinked, holding up his hands in a gesture of peace. “It’s okay, I’m a hero,” he reassured, his tone calm and gentle. “I just want to make sure you’re safe. That’s all.”

Before Mio could retort, Mayu, still clutching her sister’s hand, stepped forward. She tilted her head slightly, as if she could see Aldon even through her blindness. Her small hand reached out, brushing against his.

The moment her fingers made contact with his palm, Aldon felt a strange tingle run through him. Mayu’s lips parted, and she whispered softly, her voice barely audible over the noise of the mall.

“The one your heart is yearning for the most will return.”

Aldon froze, his heart skipping a beat. His mind swirled with confusion. “What… what did you just say?” he asked, his voice almost a whisper, as if saying it louder would shatter the strange moment.

Mayu said nothing else, stepping back behind Mio as if nothing had happened. Before Aldon could press further, a voice called out.

“There you two are!” A tall man approached quickly, his steps controlled but firm. He wore a bck turtleneck sweater, jeans, and a facemask. His snake-like green eyes gnced between the girls, relief evident in his expression. “What did I tell you about wandering off? You were supposed to stay by the bench.”

Mio looked down, fidgeting. “Sorry, Rex… we just wanted to look around.”

Rex let out a sigh, kneeling to their level. His voice softened, a mix of exasperation and concern. “You know you can’t just disappear like that. What if something happened?” He gently pced a hand on Mio’s shoulder, his other hand brushing a stray strand of hair from Mayu’s face.

Aldon observed the interaction quietly, noting the protective way Rex spoke to the girls. Once Rex was certain the girls were okay, his attention turned to Aldon. His posture stiffened slightly, his snake-like gaze assessing Aldon carefully. “Thanks for keeping an eye on them,” Rex said, his voice calm but guarded.

“No problem,” Aldon replied, standing up straight. “I noticed they looked lost. I just wanted to make sure they were alright.”

Rex nodded slowly, his demeanor reserved. “They’re fine. I appreciate it, though.” He turned back to the girls. “Come on, let’s go.”

“Wait,” Aldon said, his curiosity getting the better of him. “I didn’t catch your name.”

Rex gnced over his shoulder, hesitating for a moment. “Rex,” he said simply. “Thanks again.”

With that, Rex guided the girls away, Mio shooting Aldon one st suspicious gnce while Mayu offered him a small, knowing smile. Aldon stood there for a moment, repying Mayu’s strange words in his mind.

Later at VanaheimWeeks passed before Aldon saw Rex again, this time at Vanaheim, a music store he frequented. Rex stood behind the counter, organizing a stack of records. He gnced up as Aldon entered, recognition flickering in his eyes.

“Well, if it isn’t the mall hero,” Rex said dryly, pushing his gsses up the bridge of his nose.

Aldon grinned, stepping closer. “Didn’t expect to see you here. You work here?”

“Something like that,” Rex replied, his tone as guarded as before. But there was a hint of amusement in his voice.

That was the start of something unexpected—a friendship built over shared conversations, music recommendations, and, slowly but surely, trust.
