On Terra, power flowed like rivers through every living being. This energy—called Igeni—was the planet's breath, a force that sustained life and forged warriors. Creation, Life, Death, and Destruction are four branches of power, each bound by its own rules. Yet, for all its strength, Igeni was unpredictable and even dangerous. Some mastered it. Others were consumed by it.
Two young-looking humans walked slowly but steadily in a dense forest. Bernard, fifteen, was of a slim build. His hair was dark green, and he had brown eyes. He was wearing a tiny black tunic and grey pants.
He stopped to look around him. He enjoyed the fantastic colors and shapes of nature. Giant trees touched the skies, leaving space for thousands of specs of light from the sun. The plants danced very slowly to the rhythm of a colorful, dusty breeze. Birds with vibrant feathers hopped between branches, and distant insect hums filled the air. The occasional crack of twigs in the underbrush made Bernard feel watched—though he saw no movement.
He looked worried about something and kept looking right and left. He took several steps to speak to the person already ahead of him.
— "Tyana, wait! We need to wait for Jill and Saphyra. Do you know where they are?" — Bernard asked.
Tyana was a pretty young woman, seventeen years old. She had blonde hair until the shoulders, sparkling green eyes, and a regal appearance. She wore a green dress that ended in a V shape at the end and red leggings. She was kneeling beside her bag, digging through it with a focused expression.
— "Jill's alright, Bernard. She said something about going for a dip in the river, and Saphyra went with her." — Tyana replied, distracted.
Bernard frowned. — "What are you looking for?"
Tyana huffed. — "The token... I know I packed it, but... where is it..."
She paused, pulling out a small metallic disc no more significant than her palm. Strange glowing runes circled its surface. Tyana muttered, — "Found it." She turned it over in her hand as if debating something.
— "Wait here, Tyana; I'm going to look for them." — Bernard said, still looking concerned.
Tyana rolled her eyes, annoyed, but stopped and sat down briefly. — "Hey, be quick about it! We still need to place the house and wait for Lydia and Chet!" — Shouted Tyana while Bernard disappeared inside the forest.
The river stretched for miles with many rapids and small waterfalls. Near one of these waterfalls, Jill and Saphyra stood near the riverbank. Jill was waist-deep in the water, washing her face, while Saphyra stood on a flat rock, her energy bow slung over her shoulder.

The air here was cooler, and mist rose from the rapids, clinging to their skin. The smell of wet earth and pine needles filled the air. Birds had gone quiet, and a growing stillness seemed to crawl over the area.
— "Are you sure this is a good spot?" — Saphyra asked, scanning the treeline. "I heard there are huge snakes around here."
Jill chuckled. — "Relax, Saphyra. If one shows up, I'll turn it into steak."
Suddenly, a massive shadow slithered beneath the water’s surface. Before Jill could react, the giant tail of a monstrous cobra surged upward, creating a wave that splashed across the rocky shore. The beast was enormous — twenty-five meters long with glistening black scales and golden eyes that locked onto Jill.
"JILL, MOVE!" — Saphyra shouted, raising her bow and channeling her energy into a glowing arrow.
Jill froze for a split second, her body instinctively tensing. The beast lunged, jaws snapping just inches from her leg. Jill rolled back toward the riverbank, barely escaping the strike. The cobra turned its attention to her again, rearing back for a second strike.
"I’ve got you!" — Saphyra shouted. Her bow vanished, replaced by glowing green tendrils of energy that sprouted from her palms.
— "CREATION... VINES!"
Thick energy vines shot from the ground, snaking around the monster’s body and rooting it in place. The cobra thrashed, hissing furiously, but the glowing roots tightened with each movement. The serpent’s head flailed wildly, just inches from breaking free.
"JILL! NOW!" — Saphyra screamed, her face strained from maintaining the vines.
Jill grinned, sparks crackling from her fingertips as red energy swirled around her.
— "DESTRUCTION... RAY!!!"
A crimson beam erupted from her palm at the speed of sound. The ray tore through the cobra's head, instantly killing the beast. The serpent’s body twisted violently, then fell with a thunderous splash that painted the river red.
"Too easy," Jill muttered, crossing her arms triumphantly.
Saphyra staggered back, breathing heavily. — "Easy for you... you didn’t have to hold the thing still."
Moments later, Bernard burst through the trees, panting and wide-eyed.
— "Jill! Saphyra! Are you two okay? I felt your Igeni—"
He stopped, finding Jill casually leaning against the enormous snake's corpse with a smug grin.
— "Hey, big brother! Look at what I caught for dinner! Awesome, don't you think?" — said Jill in a pompous tone.
Bernard stopped admiring the dead monster's size for a while but suddenly realized Jill's words. Tyana preferred to cook something other than big prey. Last time, she was furious at them for bringing her such an enormous beast to prepare.
— "We can’t take this back," Bernard groaned. "Tyana’s gonna lose her mind."
— "Too bad." Jill grinned. "I caught it. You carry it."
— "What?!"
Saphyra shook her head. "Bernard, just build something to drag it. You’ve got the skills."
Bernard exhaled through his nose, his fingers curling. Energy sparked around his hands, and green tendrils of light spiraled outward. Wooden branches twisted together, forming a makeshift cart of vines and bark.
— "That’s… pretty clever," Saphyra admitted.
— "Looks like a bunch of twigs glued together," Jill muttered.
— "It’s better than dragging this thing by hand!" Bernard shot back.
With much effort, Bernard and Saphyra hoisted the dead cobra onto the wooden cart. As Bernard strained under the weight, Saphyra gripped the wooden frame to help push. Jill leisurely walked beside them, whistling a victorious tune.
— "You're enjoying this too much," Bernard grumbled.
— "It’s called training," Jill smirked. "Builds muscle."
