It is a situation which will become a problem when she realises the fact she actually is a Mind-Clone copy of the original who ate the original. Not a Powered who can shapeshift from human to a Mud Troll.
It’s going to be like when a similar hero of Botanical in the US found out she isn’t the woman who accidentally tapped into The Trees [of The Woodsy, or The Evergreen] and ended up as a Jane Doe in a hospital. While Botanical is the mind-clone of said Jane Doe. An incident where Botanical’s meltdown could be felt mystically across the whole planet.
Just worse for someone like Claylike, who over the last few months has become very powerful and can fight kaiju who attack the Bristol Channel with ease. Who can manipulate all of the mud of the channel, all of the South Welsh Coast, and the South West Coast from the source of The Severn to past the Scilly Isle where Lyonesse will rise again ... and including all the non-sapient Mud Trolls in said area.

[The nature of Pre-Conceptual Magic]
[Two types of Conceptual Magicks]
[Basics of Post-Conceptual Magicks]
[A bit on Souls and The Three Creations]
[Three Types of Divine/Infernal Magicks]
Pre-Conceptual Magic draws on just affecting, manipulating, and shaping physical reality. It does not draw on The Forms, what are the ideas and concepts of what conceptual magic draws from. The most basic bits of magic, to shape reality by just applying magic as a shaped concept without any higher manipulation.
Whether hurling a fireball, telekinetically throwing a person across a room, or casting a healing spell. Or so on and so forth. In English it is also called Physical Magic, Basic Magic, Foundational Magic, and Simple Magic.
There are the two types of Conceptual Magic, the hybrid form of Aristotelian magic of a combination of Pre-Conceptual Magic and a lesser grasp of the Aristotelian forms. And there is Platonic Conceptual Magic which effects and manipulates reality with just higher Platonic Forms.
The Aristotelian Conceptual Magic is easier to practise and work, it is also easier to develop out of Pre-Conceptual Magic as it draws on partially the physical and not just The Aristotelian Forms of conceptual magic.
On the other hand, it takes more power than Platonic Conceptual Magic even if it takes lesser power than Pre-Conceptual Magic. It also requires both parts of it to work properly and if one part fails the other half isn't going to properly carry the spell. It’s half and half. The half and half nature of it does require shielding, blocking, nullification, or such of both parts to properly defend against such magicks.
You can’t just shield against Conceptual Magic or Pre-Conceptual Magic, both need to be defended against. If only one is shielded against, the rest of the magic is weakened and resistible, it is still coming though. So, you do get the equivalent of a saving throw, but you still have to make the throw.
The Platonic Conceptual Magic takes far less energy by imposing concepts of The Higher Forms as a spell it is also a lot more efficient. It is also stronger than Aristotelian Conceptual Magic before even getting into its lesser energy costs and higher efficiency to allow for even stronger spells.
It is however harder to learn and cast, plus it is harder to reach such a magical base. And when the technological magical development for Post-Conceptual Magic is met, it can just be dispelled with a wave of a hand and a flick of Post-Conceptual Magic.
As a note: Before the Age of Conceptual Magic of the Nineteenth Century of The Jasmainian Era of Queen Jasmine the First? Most of the few bits of
Now we come to Post-Conceptual Magic. Known as: The Post-Conceptual Arts, Post-Forms Magicks, Soul Magicks, Aleister Crowley Magicks, Crowley Magicks, Crowley Magic, due to the proponent and one of the leading figures in Post-Conceptual Magic. At least on Earth Sierra-Hotel-1, in what was The Magical Sciences of Science’d Magic of The Supernatural Community.
What has been shortened to Crow-Magicks, Crow-Magic, C-Magicks, or C-Magic because of what humanity is like. At least regarding the names for it in English in The Western Magical Traditions, there are many different names for it in different languages.
The fact of the matter is, we are speaking English here. And I don’t have the I Am A Natural Ritual to let me learn other languages with ease so we’re sticking to English. So, it will be either referred to as Post-Conceptual Magic/Magicks, Crowley Magic/Magicks, or Soul Magic.
It is made up of multiple parts. To get into the components of it:
It does not allow forms to affect it, it is above such Conceptual Magic affecting it. The nature of it can't be cancelled out or unmade with either Conceptual Magic or Post-Conceptual Magic. It stops the imposing of Form Magicks onto reality whether or not it is Aristotelian or Platonic.
The magic itself cancels out Form Magicks of either type of Conceptual Magic from taking effect. It is anchored to the soul of the focus of the cast magic or laid enchantment or such for the magicks without failing the physical as part if it’s casting.
Post-Conceptual Magic is, as you’ve probably guessed, also Soul Magic. Because it invokes the property of the Soul to take the inviolate nature of the soul and channels it into the magic. Both the soul of the caster and the soul of the spell. Plus, if it’s an enchantment, curse, or such laid on an object or living being it then it also takes power from the soul of what the magic has been cast on.
The Magic also takes knowledge taken from Pre-Conceptual Magic and the Two Types of Conceptual Magic to apply what has been learnt from them. The Moulding, Shaping, and Weaving of the Physical Magicks to apply to them. Taking magical spell construction inspired by both Aristotelian combined Physical and Lesser Form Magic, and the Pure Conceptual Magic of only Concepts and Ideas of Platonic Magic.
To replicate parts of the effects of a Form without invoking and calling on said form. Parts of it mimic bits of the shape without needing the actual Forms to do it. And behind the protections what design it to fight other bits of Post-Conceptual Magic is to take both bits of Conceptual Magic and what is Pre-Conceptual Magic. To have them as a part of it.
How Crowley Magic of The Post Conceptual Arts, is designed to have the introductory lessons work through the soul. To be an extension of the caster, as instinctive as whatever instinctive abilities a being has.
If they are human or not, thus I’m not going to get into what abilities someone may or may not have even if they’re human. But whatever abilities are easy and instinctive to them, the very beginnings of Post Conceptual Protections against various things are there. And the foundational bits of various types of Magic of Crowley Magic are designed to be easy to learn. The beginnings are easy, and it gets harder and harder as you progress in a curve.
Of what has been engineered out of what is The I-AM! Of what is The Soul, once drawing on Forms went into drawing upon The Soul of The Caster themselves. The reaching inward into the Self Essence of The Eternal, Immortal, and Indestructible self instead of reaching outwards into various Concepts and finding such power.
A logical progression of a civilisation who has achieved The Forms and also has a spiritual bent to its Mystical Technological Development as a Supernatural Basis of Knowledge. Rather than some mostly Atheist, Agnostic, Non Spiritual Magical Tech Foundation, or such.
What in The First Creation, The Fire Born, of The Children of The Phoenixes, who became The Architects of Reality? Travelled back to the start of The First Creation when The First Phoenix of Palades was born as the primordial Big Bang at the Creation of The First Universe.
There is the specific Fire Born of The Praeceptor who invented Time Travel, took the concept of Phoenix Souls and the Souls of those who eventually became The Architects of Reality ... And copied the Eternal, Immortal, and Indestructible nature of their souls to all the souls of all what would be created from the Start of The First Creation, of The First Universe.
To forever rewrite how other than the Souls of Phoenixes and souls of The Fire Born had been mortal and killable. And for Time and Death of Father Time and The Maiden of The End had hidden said rewritten nature every time a soul was supposedly destroyed. Until the point of Time Travel of The Praeceptor, so as to maintain the timeline as was required.
But what was a long time after the First Twelve Million Years of The First Creation and The First Universe. As noted previously on the space of The First Creation? ... if for Cultivators or Practitioners use said mainline bits of Cultivation or Practise, who don’t go full grim-derp Cultivator Civilisation, or a Practitioner Civilisation doesn’t go all Dark-Derp Fantasy without any chivalry ...

What can be shielded against, resisted, reversed, or healed with other magicks.
A Death Spell of Aristotelian Conceptual Magic would be half Physical Death Spell and half lesser Death Conceptual Spell. A combination of, say, a Physical Drowning Spell and a Conceptual Drowning Spell of The Summergens Spell as an Incantation.
What you would need to shield against both, to stop the physical sensation of drowning on dry land and the Conceptual version of it. If shielding against one of the two parts of it will blunt it and shielding against both will stop it.
The Platonic Conceptual Magic, of The Mortalis Spell as an Incantation, is the Concept of Death itself as a spell. To just have a living being just keel over and die if they don’t have defences against Conceptual Magic, or some form of the basic Soul Technique. What would be Post Conceptual Magic to defend yourself against it
The Post-Conceptual Magic of it, what would be the Esperanto spell of Morti, would be a combination of spells. Of a Physical Pre-Conceptual Spell of just the physical acting of dying, The Aristotelian Conceptual Spell of said Physical Spell added to a basic Conceptual Spell. Combined with a Platonic Conceptual Spell of the concept of death.
And the Soul Magic of The Soul of the Caster, The Soul of The Victim/Target, and The Soul of The Spell itself. To be The I-AM! Part of the magic of The Post-Conceptual Magic. To work them all together, Standing on The Shoulders of Giants.
The difference of Post-Conceptual Magic at the Start of The Twentieth Century compared to the point in The Twenty First? It is like comparing a Marconi Radio to a 2020s Smartphone of our timeline of the Standing on The Shoulders of Giants of the start of Post-Conceptual Magic and its current ability.

For shielding spells, what would defend against said things. You have the Scield Spell of Pre-Conceptual Magic, The Heraldus Spell of Aristotelian Conceptual Magic, The Barrius Spell of Platonic Conceptual Magic, and The Protectus Spell of Post-Conceptual Magic.
The Scield Spell would defend against a Pre-Conceptual Spell, or half of an Aristotelian Conceptual Spell. It would fall to a Platonic Conceptual Spell, and it would be annihilated by a Post-Conceptual Spell ... if said Scield Spell doesn’t have a hell of a lot of power behind it.
The Heraldus Spell would block Pre-Conceptual Spell, it would be able to defend itself against an Aristotelian Conceptual Spell. If all things are equal, a Platonic Conceptual Spell would punch through a Heraldus like a knife through butter.
If considering the fact, of how it is rare when all things are equal, a powerful and good caster of The Aristotelian could defend themselves against a weak and unskilled Caster of The Platonic. If the Heraldus Spell went up against a Post-Conceptual Spell of Crowley Magicks, it would fold and break and shatter if The Soul Magicks were more than a spell fizzle. (If the Power Rule of the Scield Spell doesn’t come into effect.) If the spell worked, it would break the shield spell.
The Barrius Spell would stop a Pre-Conceptual Spell, against a Platonic Conceptual Spell it would put up a good defence. Again, if considering all things to be equal. A Barrius Spell would block an Aristotelian Conceptual Spell. But see the earlier explanation about the equalling. And up against a Post-Conceptual Spell, it would fall. (Power Rule still applies here if not for the fact Platonic Conceptual Magic has low power as it relies mostly on it’s nature of Platonic Conceptual Magic.)
The Protectus Spell of The Soul Arts? If even cast like a flickering and guttering candle flame? Would stop a pre-conceptual and both types of Conceptual Spells. If A Post-Conceptual Spell even cast with a modicum of more skill would shatter it.
It would depend on caster power and skill between say a Protectus Spell and a Morti Spell. Though a basic practitioner of The Soul Arts of making The I-AM! Of your own Soul protecting and fighting Conceptual Magicks, the most basic of techniques? It should basically be the equivalent of an easy saving throw against a Morti Spell. Let alone if it bleeds though and loses energy against a Protectus Shield Spell.
Now, on the matter of Divine Magicks and/or Infernal Magicks of Divine Magic and/or Infernal Magic. Of Higher Powers? And if you want to be technical what would be Lower Powers if going into The Infernal Realms. Not using the term god what has already been covered on being so vague. What is at least a Powerful Spirit, if not on the pathway to being a Semi-Ascendant for a Divine or Infernal being?
Well, there are rules. What was agreed by all The Higher (And Lower) Powers and Beings, then made everyone else agree to them in terms when shedding physical form and leaving the mortal planes. Regardless of your personal beliefs on whether Thor could beat Zeus, or Zeus beat Thor, or whatever when regarding Divine/Infernal Powers?
The rules were hammered out and forged by everyone and anyone, for any new Power having to agree to them. Divine/Infernal Magicks of those beings fall into three categories, if they are not making some kind of avatar as limited by the treaties to come down.
There is Divine/Infernal Power, followed by Divine/Infernal Spell Weave, and concluded by Divine/Infernal Power and Weave. What a Sufficiently Advanced Magical Energy Being to play off Sci-Fi Terms when admitting the actual magic and not pretending it’s science?
And when even claiming it’s science, when it’s bad pseudo-science, not even explaining where the actual magical power for it is coming from. Just, Doctor Who, Stargate, Star Trek, and others. Having magical powers without any justification for where the power is coming for it. With no Ambient analogue, or such to say where the actual energy for it is coming from.
When Star Wars as a space fantasy has more explanation for it, rather than going on about being more evolved, what is pure nonsense and what is on a par with the, ‘It’s magic. I ain’t gotta explain shit,’ Explanation meme. Of what Harry Potter goes with for its magic ... and for a Sci-Fi setting it’s bad.
For example, DnD/D&D in various settings has more explanation for its magic. Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K have more of an explanation. To be rather unfair but honest, Dresden Files as an Urban Fantasy setting has more explanation and science in its magic than the mentioned Sci-Fi settings with their magic and glowy energy beings. What do you even mean by calling them energy? What kind of energy? ...

Those spiritual beings can first just offer Power to their believers, devotees, followers, worshipers, or whatever. What is easiest on the scale, they have to provide the skill and knowledge to shape it of the magic. Whether Pre-Conceptual Magic, Conceptual Magic, or Post-Conceptual Magic.
There is the Spell Weave, where the person gifted the spell provides their own power, but has the Divine or Infernal Spell made by the Sci-Fi Spiritual Magic Glowy Ball. What is more costly, and depending on the technological magical development of a civilisation can be more costly.
Pre-Conceptual Magic, Conceptual Magic, Post-Conceptual Magic, or a spell crafted out of Divine or Infernal understanding. Each one is more costly, just depending on the level of the civilisation the Magic Space God is handing out the Spell Weave.
And, if done, it is the most costly magically speaking, and depending on the civilisation may or may not be more costly than manifesting an avatar of varying power levels? Is both The Power of The Spell and The Spell Shape and Formula handed down by the Glowy One of either Good, Neutral, Evil, or Something Else.
If handing out power and the spell shape, if you’re doing full on Divine or Infernal Understanding of The Higher Realms. Of not just a Post-Mortal understanding of Magic, but a Post-Immortal understanding of Magic.
It would be a very big act, like sending an unkillable Greek God level Avatar. Rather than something more subdued like a Norse God level killable Avatar act dependent on the magical technological civilisation level.
On Earth Sierra-Hotel-1, for the main Supernatural Civilisation, it is the Divine/Infernal Levels of Understanding and Skill. What have their own levels and precision within them, of what can be from just above what Post-Conceptual Magic can currently do, to something what is a fucking Act of God. To put it mildly. Let alone if putting the power of something to look like a god to a twenty-first century human who mainlines High Level Powered Heroes and Villains Comics or media.
Part of this is why you get levels of interactions. Like a Divine or Infernal sending the messenger or interaction of a Demon, Devil, Fallen Angel, Spirit, Supernatural, or Something under their command to be degrees of separation.
Like the fact Enochian allows someone with a Guardian Angel, or someone to invoke a higher level of Angel, by politely entreating them to help. Not commanding or making a deal with a Demon, Devil, Fallen Angel, or such.
It is why the Ars Goetia was and is almost always more popular than the Ars Paulina, of what the Ars Paulina would be the invocation of angels. It is the reason why sending more limited agents as operatives to work their will is less costly and more easy than Divine or Infernal Magicks. As a war of Higher Powers on a more limited level.
Like The Minimum Effort for Maximum Reward of various factions of good, as part of the For Every Action An Equal and Opposite Reaction of all sides. How good when doing less than an Equal and Opposite Reaction, yet still saving the day, thus they are saving up credit against the enemy actor they’re fighting. So, when the big one goes down, when it goes to full out war on a Mortal Plane like Earth Sierra-Hotel-1, they have a very large amount of credit to spend to fight it.

Simply put, the reason why Harry Potter Magic is classified as either Pre-Conceptual or the Conceptual Magic of Platonic Conceptual Magic is rather simple. For a lot of the Pre-Conceptual stuff, it’s due to a lot of its combat magicks being blocked by a shield. It doesn’t conceptually break down the shield and needs Post-Conceptual Magic to shield from it.
You have things like The Unforgivable Curses appearing to be Conceptual Magic of what seem to draw on The Concepts of Death, Domination, and Pain. If the Imperius Curse can be resisted as what would be seen as an example of The Mind Wars in their historical past.
While the Killing Curse is unblockable unless going up against a protection, one what could be a Conceptual Defence, or a Post-Conceptual Defence, or some form of Divine Protection. Either what could be a Conceptual Reflection Spell for one example.
There are things like Transfiguration Spells, even if there is rarely a mentioned incantation, is like a specific spell to do specific things. Rather than a spell like The Morphus Spell what does Transformational Magic as applied by the caster, or if someone really needs to then by adding an extra word to the incantation. (Like Morphus Aqua, or Morphus Ignis, or Morphus Bos, to just list three random examples of having to add an extra word if you can’t cast the spell properly.)
The magic just doesn’t have power and skill versus power and skill of Post-Conceptual Magical Battles or even just ordinary casting. And this isn’t just to win internet arguments, but a comparison of it when taken through the lens of the magic of Earth Sierra-Hotel-1.
