A normal day in high school, or so Andrew thought—As the teacher announce a new transfer student to the class: "Okay students, calm down, today we have a new student Emma Trinz, please respect her." , As Andrew heard that name, silently thought "Why have i heard that name before?.."
As Andrew sat in his seat, trying to focus on the lesson being taught, but all he could thought was the name "Emma Trinz", the name echoing in his head like a whisper he couldn't ignore. He couldn't recall it—but he was sure he had heard it somewhere before, but where? Was it from a past class, a friend’s story, or something deeper? His mind raced as Emma went to sit next to Andrew, as Emma went for a handshake trying to greet Andrew, he shook back, remembering everything. The girl he once loved for years and years. For it seems that Emma has forgotten everything, Andrew wondered "Why did she leave, I thought we had a great time..".

As time passes in class, Andrew's heart hummed a melody, a melody unheard by anyone but him. It was a strange, intangible thing—a feeling woven through his chest like a forgotten song. To remember someone who was so dear to him, as she broke him once—to be broken again by the same person truly an embarassing story to be told.
Andrew tried to keep distance to protect his fragile heart, but Emma kept trying to get his attention—just like the past, as she used to.. For Andrew, all this broke him into pieces. After the class ended, Emma ran to Andrew asking why he's so distant, Andrew lied—saying he's sick so she wouldn't catch his sickness. Emma smiled brightly, her smile pierced through Andrew's fragile and distant heart, for her smile—beautiful, beautiful like the morning sunshine.
