Season 2, Chapter 9 - "I won't fail again"

  [Scene 1 – After the fight]

  The wind blows hard. The sky, still split by the echo of combat, remains silent. Valterion, covered with scars, remains motionless. The destroyed earth, the broken planet... absolute silence.

  Valterion (looking at nothing):

  "...Was this... enough?"

  Suddenly, a familiar voice breaks into calm:

  Waru:

  "Well done, boy... You did it. Too good, I would say!"

  Valterion turns his head, perplexed. His helmet reflects a figure that should not be standing. Waru His decapitated body begins to move, picking up his own head from the ground.

  Valterion:

  "Impossible! I cut off your head... I...!"

  Waru (fitting his skull around his neck with a serious laugh):

  "Did you really think the great Waru would fall like that? Before the fight, I cast a spell. If I was beheaded... I would come back. Only once, of course.”

  Valterion:

  "And how did you know I was going to get your head?"

  Waru:

  "Boy... I've been watching you. And as a good warrior, you knew what had to be done. An enemy is annihilated by aiming at the heart... or at the head. Never doubt your intention when duty calls."

  Valterion kneels, reverent.

  Valterion:

  “Thank you, teacher.”

  "Raise your head, Valterion. I'm going to talk to you with a warrior's heart. That state... that purple fire, that energy that swirls and burns with your honor destroyed... that's your State Byron."

  The air changes. The name rumbles on the floor itself.

  Waru:

  "But listen to me well: that state has a price. If you use it for more than 20 minutes at maximum power... you will die."

  Valterion (without hesitation):

  "If dying is the price for those I love to never suffer again... then I will die with the sword up. And with pleasure.”

  Waru smiles.

  Waru:

  "You're a fucking stubborn, boy! I like it. But before your training continues... I need a tea. This back is no longer the same."

  Valterion lets out a laugh inside the helmet. Waru takes his hand to his sore head.

  [Scene 2 – The Supreme Ruler's Mansion]

  In the backyards, three silhouettes move like gusts. The maids Trisha, Mimi and Sheeva surround Elizabeth, who is panting, but with a determined look.

  Trisha:

  "Come on, Elizabeth! One more attack!”

  Mimi:

  "Hit us as if we wanted to take Juan away from you!"

  Elizabeth: (gasping)

  "Agh... no... I can stop! I have to... be stronger!"

  A burst of energy springs from his sword. The earth opens slightly. The three maids smile.

  Sheeva:

  “That's our girl.”

  [Scene 3 – Lightning Room]

  Lightning looks at the ground. His room is dark. His eyes, dull.

  Lightning (thinking):

  "Everyone is getting stronger... and me? What am I without my speed?"

  There is a knock on the door.

  Lightning:

  "I don't want visitors..."

  The door opens without permission. It's Trisha.

  Trisha:

  "Hello, spark. Come, let's train."

  Lightning:

  "Train? Me? I can't even stay at your level anymore..."

  Trisha (serious):

  "And do you think that matters? Listen... you can decide the pace of a battle. You can speed it up, you can stop it. If you control your speed... you control time.”

  Lightning opens his eyes. As if the word resonated in his soul.

  Lightning:

  "...Time?"

  A gust of wind shakes the room.

  Whispering voice (inside his mind):

  "Thank you..."

  Lightning, now determined, runs out.

  Lightning:

  "I already know how to stop a battle... before it starts!"

  [Scene 4 – Charlotte's hidden room]

  Charlotte, surrounded by black candles and ancestral books, performs a silent ritual. His eyes burn red.

  Charlotte:

  "Strength... blood... essence... I want to protect you, Juan."

  [Scene 5 – Scarlett's Laboratory]

  Scarlett, covered in sweat and potion stains, looks at a bubbling bottle.

  Scarlett:

  "A little more... a little more... if this works, I will be able to... save them all."

  [Final scene – Shot to the starry sky]

  The camera rises. At the top of the firmament, the echo of the battle of Waru and Valterion still vibrates.

  [Epilogue – Valterion's Reflection]

  Valterion, now alone, contemplates the planet split in half. His armor damaged, his eyes lit.

  Valterion:

  "This time... nothing will happen to them. I promise."

  Clench your fist. You can hear the roar of the wind. A new warrior has awakened.
