  “Daemon.” Said the young man. His voice was rough and dry.

  - Select your race. Royal Road: Elementarem Vim has 49 races. Currently only 6 races are

  accessible. Please chose from Dwarves, Humans, Elves, Dark Elves, Kobolds and Orcs. -

  A window popped up in front of the young boy.

  “Dark Elf Race”.

Additional affinities available through leveling up are: Ice (Available through branching of Fire, Water or Earth Elements), Heat (Available through branching of branch of Fire or Air Element), Refined Solid Control (Available through branching of Earth Element only). Please note, your elemental affinity determines your starting location and quests. Elemental Affinities cannot be changed once selected. -

  - Welcome to Royal Road – Elementarem Vim. You are currently in the city of Aquaneos. Please look around and feel to request for help as this tutorial will run the background. –

  With a flash of light, Daemon appeared in Aquaneos. He looked around to find himself in the outskirts of a secluded mountain village. Just like all starting points, close to the spot where he had shown up was a bulletin board exhibiting maps and descriptions of Aquaneos City, and directions on where to head next. He quickly read the history of Aquaneos and then opened a map window to plot the route to the Water Elf Village, his next destination.

  Originally, Daemon was going to play as a regular Elf, but in a sudden burst of inspiration and spontaneity, he decided to go ahead with the newer option available Dark Elf. The new race had just been unlocked and not much information was available on its stats. However, Daemon was glad that he chose this race. His starting location was a tier 2 city. Usually water element players start in Aqualina and have to travel at least past 3 cities to reach at Aquaneos the capital of the East Water Clan. After he got over his amazement of his crazy spontaneity, he decided to look at his stats and skills.

  Daemon says “Open Character Window!”

  His stats were better than he predicted. He had high agility, wisdom and intelligence, but low strength. As he scrolled down the page, he noticed that his bonuses stats related to water dealt 50% more damage and had double the proficiency gain. To top it up his mana conversion stat was 50% more than an ordinary beginner elf. He also noticed that it said his swimming skills were already intermediate level.

  Daeomon was surprised with the good stats that came with the race. They were certainly better than the regular elf account that he had previously made.

  Already being familiar with the game, Daemon decided to go to the library as for his first stop. This was because his in his experience the fastest way to learn more about his affinity was in the library. The tutorial’s step by step method of teaching was certainly practical but took forever to complete.

  Upon entering the Library, Daemon was immediately greeted by a fellow water elf Librarian, “Hello traveler, how may I help you?”

  “I am looking for books on water and ice affinity.”

  “I’m sorry, but you don’t even have basic elemental affinity mastery, so I can’t let you see them yet.”

  “Elemental Affinity Mastery?” Daemon asked suspiciously. This was a first. Last time he chose Earth Elf and there was no such requirement.

  “Yes before you can learn any intermediate skills related to your elemental affinity, you need to have a base to start from.”

  “Sigh, is there any way you could let me in to see?”

  “No, but I can give you this.”

  Daemon received the book and a pop message went up.

  - TRRINNNNNG!! -

  “......For dummies.....” sighed Daemon.

  “Yes I highly recommend it for beginners in water affinity, since it makes elemental affinity learning not only easy but fun too!”

  “Sigh, goodbye....” Daemon said without bothering to face the librarian.

  “Have a nice day!” Chirped back the Librarian.
