Destiny was bored out of her mind. She had not seen either her friend the slime or her master in days and she wanted to show off her slimes. Now that she had reached level 5, she could begin using the exchange to expand her capabilities. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, she began expanding down the hallway in search of the two. Watching her analysis reports as she expanded, she noticed that the dungeon stone was several upgrades above what she could currently produce, so she made a note to ask her master if she could absorb some of it.

When she reached the end of the hallway, she created a few versions of each of her slimes and began following the dungeon expansion. Spreading her influence into the large room, she finally spotted the slime and her master fighting. Her master was swinging a staff around trying to poke the slime while defending against several tentacles while the slime chased him.

At first Destiny was scared, she didn’t want to lose one of her two friends, but she noticed when the slime would make solid contact, he would pause for a bit and allow her master to recover. They were just sparring. Her slimes jiggled with excitement at meeting the great slime and the dungeon master as they lined up to present themselves, but the two combatants didn’t take notice. So Destiny continued expanding into the room and allowing her slimes to move forward.

You have discovered a world wonder. A title will be rewarded once the entire wonder is within the limits of your dungeon.

Neat. My first title. Destiny thought as she continued the expansion. Deciding she wanted to put on a bigger show, she added more ranks of slimes that moved forward in perfectly spaced rows towards the two combatants. Suddenly the slime froze and took a hard poke from her master before reaching out a tentacle and pointing at the assembled slimes.

This is it. The slime will be so happy to have new friends and my master will be so proud of what I have acompl…..wait…WHAT…NOOOOOOO…..

Puddle John, aka Gumdrop, saw a row of slimes move into his vision. He froze and took a poke in his puddle chest from Drake as he pointed at the slimes. Drake turned his head and looked back at Gumdrop. You thinking what I’m thinking worthless human? Drake’s smile and the lightning bolt he began to cast told Gumdrop that he indeed was.

While Drake was aiming at the far left 3 slimes, Gumdrop headed to the right side and turned himself into tunnel of death lined with rotating ant pincers enforced with the glowing bits pattern he copied from some of the ore he had received as loot while playing the ant tower defense game with the dungeon. He landed at the same time Drake’s bolts struck and began stuffing slimes into the tunnel of death. The pincers would cut the slimes into tiny bits as the tunnel convulsed, pushing the slime deeper inside of him making more room for another slime and ziplock mouths were opened to take the tiny bits of slime into his body.

When he had moved into attack position, Gumdrop had received a message that he had entered Destiny’s Dungeon and realized where the slimes had come from. Drake must have given her a name. Kind of boring.

“Stop master, they just wanted to meet you!” Destiny screamed in John’s head, but it was too late. The two finished off her beautiful slimes and the slime held up a tentacle for her master to slap his hand against.

“Oh sorry, Destiny. Didn’t realize they were yours. Uhhh….Do you have any more for us to fight?” her master asked.

“More? More to fight! You slaughtered my most innocent slimes that were so excited to finally meet you and then ask if I have more for you to kill?” Destiny was beyond angry. “Oh yeah. I have more for you two cretins to fight.” Destiny began placing her most powerful slimes all level 15-30 and marched them towards the two heartless jerks.

Gumdrop saw the wall of high level slimes forming and immediately tentacle ran to the nearest wall and up to the ceiling. Seeing the idiot human standing there firing lightning bolts that were doing almost nothing he gave a deep puddle sigh and ran across the ceiling to where he could pick Drake up and drag him to safety. Drake just kept shooting lightning like he had no idea of the kind of danger they were in.

A few minutes later, they were pushed back to the corner of the training area with John having to wait for his mana to regen between lightning bolts. As the dungeon finished absorbing the training area, John received a system notification:

Your dungeon limits now encapsulates the entirety of a world wonder. Your dungeon has earned the legendary title Wonder Dungeon.

Your Dungeon now receives 10% increased essence gains, 10% increased absorption, 10% additional materials from absorption, and gains 5 new skill slots and a 1 time reward of 10,000,000 essence units.

“Destiny?” John said as the slimes began climbing the walls and moving towards where Gumdrop held him suspended from the ceiling. “Would you mind calling off your slimes? They are a bit much for me and Gumdrop to handle.”

“Do you promise to never ruthlessly attack innocent dungeon creatures who are not even aware they are entering a combat scenario?”

“Uhh…Yes. Sorry about that. I didn’t realize they were yours.” John replied.

“And make sure that monster that just killed his own children knows the rules too. No combat with dungeon creatures outside of designated combat zones.” Destiny said as she sent her super slimes back to training and began looking at her rewards for getting the title.

“Ok. Wait. What do you mean by his own children?” John asked.

“I made the original slime template by absorbing and analyzing the bits of him that my ants cut off while we were playing our game. Now leave me alone. I have to resummon those poor slimes and explain it was all a mistake. The great slime and dungeon master don’t hate them. You’ve probably traumatized the poor creatures.”

“Hey Gumdrop. From now on, we can’t attack the dungeon creatures unless we are in a combat zone. Destiny was just bringing them out to meet the dungeon master and their father.”

Gumdrop raised a puddle head and nodded then froze. Their father? …I thought those glowing bits tasted familiar.

John stood there looking at Gumdrop for a few seconds then the slime raised a few miniature slime shapes and attacked them with tiny tentacles. John quickly realized what Gumdrop was asking, “No. I think it’s best if we wait a while. Destiny is a little angry. She’s afraid the slimes are going to think we hate them.”

Gumdrop gave a nod and a puddle shrug then whipped a tentacle at John slapping him in the face.

Destiny absorbed a wall of the high level dungeon stone from between two of the barracks rooms and after a second of thought, she absorbed one of the basins and placed an absorption zone on the floor where the essence imbued water was falling. She then remembered the two idiots she had wandering around her dungeon and built a wall of the high level dungeon stone completely sealing in her new essence generator.

Next Destiny did what any reasonable person would do when stressed out. She went on a shopping spree. She picked up a few interesting templates for low level creatures, traps, and turrets. Next she began looking at the various guides that were available for her.

Dungeon Strategy for Dummies. She immediately created a copy of this one on the ceiling of the training room and dropped it on John’s head. In fact, she decided to pick up the entire For Dummies series. Next she found the one she felt she needed the most. A Training Dungeon’s Guide to Intelligence Training for Adventurers. She also added: Defensive Strategies for Dungeons, Creative Gathering and Farming Scenarios for Resource Dungeons, and Dungeon Crafting Scenarios for Gains and Profits.

Destiny wanted to keep shopping, but felt it imperative that she focus all her attention on A Training Dungeon’s Guide to Intelligence Training for Adventurers before her resident numbskulls caused any more problems.

John was ducking under one tentacle and sidestepped another when he felt something heavy hit his head. Looking down he picked up the book and placed it in his storage as Gumdrop slammed two stone tipped tentacles into his kneecaps, breaking them. Cool +1 level to Physical Resistance.
