The Dome of Strongwell City
---------------
The air was suffocating—thick with the sickly stench of rot and acrid burnt metal. It clung to Purple's every breath as if the decay itself was alive. The city’s husk loomed around her, a graveyard of jagged skyscrapers silhouetted in unnatural twilight. The faint, erratic hum of flickering neon signs played tricks on her ears, teasing her with the cruel suggestion of life where none remained.
Purple stepped cautiously onto the fractured asphalt, each step measured, her body tense as a spring. Her armor flickered faintly, adjusting to the ominous energy that hung in the air like a predator waiting to strike. This was no battlefield. It was a hunting ground—and she was the prey.
She hesitated for a brief second, her fingers brushing the comm device on her collar. "Silver," her voice was low, steady, "I'm in position. Ten minutes. That's all I’ll give you."
There was a harsh crackle, then Silver's reply slid through the static—calm but tinged with urgency. "Understood. Keep breathing until then."
Purple didn’t respond. She wasn’t sure she’d be able to keep that simple promise.
Then, the laughter started. A shrill, bone-chilling giggle that echoed from every direction, darting through the ruins like a twisted melody. Purple froze. Her visor scanned the empty street. Nothing. The laughter rose again, this time coming from above. Her eyes snapped skyward, every nerve ablaze.
Without warning, a lamppost crashed to the ground in front of her with a deafening boom. It had been torn free, its jagged base steaming as though laced with acid. The voice followed a moment later, dripping disdain.
"You shouldn’t have come here, little purple thing."
From the shadows, Karry emerged, her twisted frame illuminated by her unholy, glowing eyes. Her silhouette was slight but sinister, her tattered lab coat fused grotesquely with pulsating organic growths. She moved with a languid grace that belied her menace. The grin that split her face was all sharp edges and cruelty.
"Oh, it's been so long since I’ve had a new toy. You’ll break beautifully."
Purple swallowed hard, steeling herself as her armor rippled, sensing her rising fear. The ground beneath her feet seemed to quake as Karry took a predatory step forward.
The Fight Begins
---------------
Karry struck like a thunderclap, her Sonic Dash propelling her across the distance in a heartbeat. Purple barely had time to activate her Material Shield, her body shimmering into hardened metal just as Karry’s hand came down like a guillotine. The force of the blow hurled Purple backward, sparks shrieking against the asphalt as she skidded across the ground, her armor dented and groaning under the strain.
Before Purple could fully regain her footing, Karry clapped her hands together in a seismic crack. The Sonic Clap erupted outward, a tidal wave of sound that sent every nearby structure quaking. Purple was flung like a ragdoll, crashing into the twisted remains of a car that folded around her body like foil.
She coughed violently, struggling to stand, her vision swaying. Her arm shifted, reforming into an Energy Blade that radiated with desperate intensity. With a guttural yell, she lunged forward, her strike aimed cleanly for Karry’s exposed midsection.
But Karry didn’t even flinch. She caught the blade with her bare hand, her glowing eyes narrowing as the blade fractured like fragile glass under her grip. For a brief, horrifying second, their gazes locked—hers brimming with malevolence, Purple’s with dawning dread.
"You can’t cut me, little mouse," Karry cooed. Her hand shot out, clamping around Purple’s throat like a vice. With terrifying ease, Karry spun and slammed her into the pavement, the ground fracturing under the impact.
Purple’s gasping breath was cut off as Karry loomed over her, grinning wide enough to show every jagged tooth. "Here's a fun game," she whispered, her voice dripping venom. "Try to run. I’ll find you anyway."

The Onslaught
---------------
Purple twisted free just in time, her body shimmering as she activated Environment Merge, sliding seamlessly into the cracks and shadows of a nearby skyscraper. She became one with the ruin, her breathing muffled by the rattling groans of her failing armor. For a moment, there was silence.
Then, Karry’s voice broke it like glass.
"Hide and seek?" Her laughter was shrill and unhinged. "Oh, darling, you underestimate me. I don’t just see. I feel."
Karry inhaled sharply, theatrically sniffing the air, and then her laser eyes lit the street like lightning bolts. A beam struck mere inches from Purple’s position, forcing her hand. She reemerged, firing a concentrated Energy Shot. The streak of light hurtled toward Karry’s back.
But Karry turned impossibly fast, intercepting the attack midair with her Purple Laser Eyes. The resulting explosion sent debris and searing heat in every direction.
"You almost tickled me," Karry sneered, her movements growing erratic as she entered Hunger Rampage. She closed the distance in an instant, her strikes relentless, each blow a screaming shockwave of kinetic force. Purple’s armor buckled and cracked under each hit. Her desperate blocks felt like trying to stop a hurricane with a sheet of paper.
The moment Karry’s claws pierced through her armor, straight into her shoulder, Purple bit back a scream. Flesh and fiber trembled as Karry twisted her hand, relishing the sound of breaking sinew.
"You’re fun," Karry purred. "But I’m still starving."
The Desperation
---------------
Before Purple could recover, Karry struck hard. She lunged, ripping Purple’s arm clean from her torso with a grotesque snap of bone and steel.
"where's the meat?," Karry asked curiously , tossing the severed limb aside like trash. "You don't look like you taste good."
What followed was a cruel dance. Karry knocked Purple around the city like a toy, each hit delivering earth-shaking destruction. Purple hit the ground, rolled, then slammed into a wall as Karry’s strikes came faster, more vicious. Her body became a pinball in Karry’s ruthless display of power.
Purple shifted her weight the last few blows reducing the impact and giving her just enough time to recover, as her remaining arm flickered. Desperation coursed through her veins. She transmuted her hand to fire Plasma Beam, the weapon glowing brighter as energy pulsed through her arm.
With a roar, she fired directly at Karry’s chest. The searing bolt struck with enough force to send Karry staggering a few feet back, a faint burn marking her skin as purple lands to the ground. purples arm emerged from the ground as Purple moved quickly, using the brief distraction to reattach her dismembered arm. The nanotechnology of her armor hummed as it fused back into place.
Karry noticed. Her expression darkened like a brewing storm.
"Oh… I wasn’t done with that arm," she hissed. And with horrifying nonchalance, she ripped it off again, the sound of tearing metal filling the ruined street.
Every nerve screamed for her to flee. Every instinct knew she wouldn’t win. But Purple gritted her teeth and released a desperate Terrakinesis burst. Spires of jagged stone erupted, one slicing across Karry’s side. The purple glow dimmed momentarily, but the small victory vanished as Karry’s grin widened manically.
"My turn," she growled. A frozen mist escaped her lips as she released Ice Breathe, freezing the air solid in front of her. Purple’s armor adapted but slowed, locking her in place.
Karry seized her by the other arm, her jaw unhinging grotesquely as she bit deep with Flesh Devour. Purple’s scream echoed through the ruins as her armor struggled to regenerate fast enough to keep her body intact.
The Endgame
---------------
With her vision tunneling and her strength failing, Purple activated her last-ditch effort—Absorption Rush. Her body hardened into an unyielding force as she launched herself at Karry like a wrecking ball. The impact finally sent the Monster King stumbling back, smoke curling from the scratches left behind.
But Karry only laughed as she brushed herself off, her amusement unshaken. Rising to full height, she raised her hands, charging another devastating Sonic Clap.
Purple collapsed, her armor flickering weakly. She glanced at her comm. “Silver… you better have it. Now.”
Purple crawled back as Karry’s form loomed over her, preparing for another devastating strike. But before Karry could finish her cruel game, her attention snapped to the distance—a haunting wail echoed through the dome, shaking the very ground beneath them.
The Banchi.
Purple’s comm crackled weakly. "Purple," Silver’s voice came through, strained but sharp. "Things just got complicated. The Banchi’s here."
"You didn’t say I’d have to fight two monsters," Purple rasped, her voice filled with exhaustion.
"You won’t," Silver replied. "Stay low. Let them tear each other apart. Then, whoever’s left standing—you finish them. I’m not done gathering what we need."
Purple inhaled sharply. Her vision blurred, but the edges were tinged with steel determination. Her armor slowly began to repair itself. She wasn’t dead yet, but she wasn’t done bleeding, either.
Karry’s attention shifted entirely to the Banchi, her grin splitting her face in twisted glee. "A new toy," she cooed. "How delightful!"
Purple took the moment to force herself upright, her armor lagging but operational. She whispered to herself, voice low but steadfast, "Still standing," as she reattaches her arm.
A new nightmare had joined the fray, and Purple’s battle in Strongwell was far from over.
