Episode 2: The Path of Strength

  Opening Scene: The morning sun rises over the Village of Dawns. A lively atmosphere fills the air as the village prepares for the upcoming hunter trials. Children train in open fields, merchants set up stalls, and the sound of swords clashing echoes from the training grounds.

  Scene 1: Tenzai’s Determination Tenzai, drenched in sweat, practices his combat moves alone near a waterfall. His sister watches from a distance. She approaches with a wooden sword, signaling him to spar.

  "Your movements are getting sharper," she says, "but you're still leaving yourself open."

  Tenzai wipes his forehead and grins. "Then let's fix that."

  Their sparring session intensifies. Despite his effort, his sister's experience overwhelms him. She knocks him down but extends a hand to help him up.

  Scene 2: Midori’s Challenge Midori visits her mother in the temple, where ancient carvings depict past champions of the village. Her mother, with a calm demeanor, presents her with a weighted training staff.

  "This belonged to your father. If you wish to prove yourself, you must first master its weight."

  Midori grips the staff, her arms trembling slightly. She nods with determination.

  Scene 3: Zetsuya’s Awakening In a secluded forest, Zetsuya stands before his grandfather’s grave, his eyes burning with silent anger.

  "I will make them pay."

  A shadowy aura flickers around him. He tightens his grip on his blade, feeling a surge of power. A voice in his head whispers, but he shakes it off. He won't lose control.

  Scene 4: The Trials Begin The village square is filled with participants as the first challenge—the mental challenge—commences. A grand elder steps forward.

  "To be a hunter, strength alone is not enough. You must have a sharp mind to outwit monsters."

  The competitors are seated in a large hall, given puzzles and strategic battle scenarios. Tenzai struggles but refuses to give up. Midori excels, her mind clear and focused. Zetsuya remains expressionless, solving each test with ease.

  The first round ends, and names of those who passed are announced. All three of them make it to the next stage.

  Closing Scene: As the competitors prepare for the second challenge, Tenzai looks at Midori and Zetsuya.
