Episode 5: "The Rise of the Inner Flame"

  Scene 1: Early Morning – Village of Dawns

  Tenzai, Midori, Zetsuya, and Eva wake up at the training grounds, recovering from their previous battle.

  Eva thanks Tenzai again for saving her. She offers him a small gift—a lightning-shaped pendant—but Tenzai, clueless, just smiles and accepts it.

  Midori notices and grins, teasing Eva silently.

  Scene 2: Grand Hall of the Village – Announcement Time

  A royal messenger arrives, blowing a horn.

  The king’s advisor announces:

  “Three days from now, the Selection Competition begins. Prepare yourselves. This year, the competition will be fiercer than ever.”

  The group looks at each other, determined.

  “This is it,” says Zetsuya. “The path to the Ultimate Killing Journey.”

  Scene 3: Training Session – Forest Grounds

  The trio decides to train in secret in the deeper parts of the forest.

  Midori reveals a new technique: Forest Shell, a defensive dome that can block even elemental attacks.

  Zetsuya practices combining shadows with actual objects—creating Shadow Clones with solid mass.

  Tenzai struggles with merging thunder and water.

  He pushes himself, gets injured trying to create a new move: Storm Breaker Slash.

  Midori scolds him, but Zetsuya nods, recognizing Tenzai’s burning spirit.

  Scene 4: A Dark Cave Nearby

  A new minor villain is introduced: Raku, a C-rank corrupted human who has fused with a monster.

  Raku spies on the trio from a distance, intrigued by their power.

  He whispers:

  “The prophecy children... especially the thunder brat... I’ll test his flame soon.”

  Scene 5: Nightfall – Tenzai Alone

  Tenzai trains alone under the stars.

  He thinks about his sister’s words:

  “You must learn to balance your heart and power.”

  Suddenly, his pendant (from Eva) begins to glow.

  A mysterious voice echoes in his mind:

  “The first step to greatness is not strength... but understanding.”

  A surge of aura flows into him. He begins to control water and thunder in harmony—briefly creating the true Storm Breaker Slash in a flash of light before collapsing from exhaustion.

  Ending Scene: Dawn of the Final Day Before the Selection

  The group regathers, ready.

  Eva joins them, revealing she’s entering the competition too.

  “I’m not just a pretty face, you know.” She smirks, activating her aura—revealing speed-based wind abilities.

  The screen zooms out as the narrator says:

  “With the flames of destiny igniting, the first test of true resolve is about to begin...”
