We had decided to scam the adventurers community. Team Hourai would ‘attempt’ the nightmare dungeon, the only reason Greg was on board with it was because he wanted to know how he would fare against Cygnus and Geminga. I had the recording crystals ready which were needed to record our run.

  We were currently walking through the familiar scene of Boshi town, the place where it all began.

  You said you wanted to speedrun it and show a glimpse of floor 3 before we get ‘defeated’?

  Yup. Let’s make Boshi town look like a cakewalk and we’ll pretend to have trouble against Cygnus and Geminga.

  I don’t know about Geminga but Cygnus might actually beat us you know. He fought that god for so long the last time we were here.

  Don’t worry. I got this but Greg should have a decent matchup against him.

  His mobility is a huge problem, we were right in sending you after him. As you would say, his kit is bullshit.

  Yeah, he is way overtuned!

  Let’s do Boshi town first. I will take the Mountain and the Zarrazax cultists. Raishin, you take Molerock, Paul and Paula. Agnis, you take the spirit sisters and that lava mess. We all will team up against the last time line.

  What about the shades?

  Well, we don’t have to take 5 days on each boss. If you speed run this floor you won’t have half of the problems most parties have with this floor, or any that we had in Boshi town. Just kill the bosses before the shades can be an issue. If we coordinate the kills and kill our bosses within the same minute, 3 bosses will be killed per timeline.

  Whoa that’s a nice shortcut!

  Agnis... did you plan for this?

  Who knows! Let’s use Teleroad to coordinate our kills. Especially you Raishin! And here take these recording crystals. We will shock the world hahaha!

  Hehe it’s time to become famous!

  Yet again having questionable motivations… Last question what do we do about our tails?

  Uhh show them off if you want the world to know. I will be fighting with just 1 tail out.

  Different word for the same thing. Alright I think I’m going for the magma mess first. Let’s get back in contact when we reached our bosses.

  It might take a while for me but I will go for the Mountain first.

  I will go for Molerock!

  We split up as we went through the familiar town. Each of us knew this place like the back of our hand. I located the tunnel and headed down to the underground city. The city was to act as a distraction for the invaders but they had realized it by now. The recording crystal got activated as I was facied the large magma pool amd I cracked my neck.

  Let’s do this!

  My tail used [Drowning Pulse] and created enough water to use [Waterfall]. Not only do we want to crush our competition we want to make it unfairly clear that we would wipe the floor with the competitors any day of the week. Nobody can do what I’m doing and that’s the whole point.

  The magma snake appeared and the magma snake disappeared after a [Tsunami]. I jumped off the magma fall while still using [Waterfall]. I mapped out the fastest and flashiest route and weaved between pillars of magma rising up from below. One got used to knock myself up and I created enough water to turn it into rock beneath me. My magma elevator brought me to the required height needed and I continued [Waterfall] into the magma chamber. The magma waves were imposing and had evaporated a lot of water so I upped up the [Drowning Pulse] and continued using [Waterfall] and navigated between the waves.

  The guardian of this root wasn’t that slow guy that Raishin one-shot. It was Ira and her two spirit guardian guys as they make for a more interesting fight. I still had to pass the temple and cross the bridge. The temple was guarded by the big spirit guardians. But guess what?! They are weak to water! Nobody can and would use water down here normally.

  Another [Tsunami] and an [Azure Spear] for each spirit which easily dealt with them. I wasn’t joking when I said that I would be speed running this. I dashed over the bridge and ignored the edgy spirit who was there to stall.

  I arrived at the boss room which was large and spacious.

  -I am at the boss room- - I’m almost there!- - What?! Already?-

  -Slow as always! I’ve arrived!- -Give me 10, no 5 minutes!-

  We waited 7 minutes for Greg.

  -Ok, I’m here. I forgot that there was that stupid puzzle and that mini boss. But that’s behind us now- - I hope that you skipped the puzzle. I had made the same small channels you had made to bypass the puzzle.-

  - Yeah. I used those. I didn’t feel like dealing with that obnoxious puzzle. You sure are sadistic putting that in this dungeon.- - They need to feel our pain!- - I’m ready! Let’s go!-

  I had one free magic cast left so I opened with [Azure Spear] and held it in my hand. My tail continued [Drowning Pulse] while I dashed at Ira, slowly flooding the boss room. I used [Blindside] and used the spear to knock her up in the air and used [Vanishing Ripple], which ended in a [Water Blast] sending her to the ceiling.

  I shifted my stance and sent a water [Dragon] at her, used [Waterfall] to climb the [Dragon] and I froze her limbs so she couldn’t use her fiery great sword.

  -Uhh, Guys I’m about to land the finishing blow, are you guys ready to defeat your guardian yet?- - I just beat him in rapping. I just need to beat him in digging!- - Huh how are you guys so fast?-

  -We’re glass cannons remember?- - How does being a glass cannon help Raishin in his challenge?- - I had a glass shattering performance!-

  I was keeping Ira airborne and half frozen with [Dragon] while waiting till Greg got so far.

  -Ok dig contest has started. I will be done in 30 seconds. Greg hurry up!- -Give me 2, no 1 minute!- -Greg my speed record is going to be shit! Hurry up!-

  -Ok my setup is done let’s go!-

  I stopped messing around and let the [Dragon] hit Ira head on. While she flew away, I threw the [Azure Spear] and impaled her, killing her.

  -Molerock is defeated!- - Done!- -Almost there! Ok I defeated the Mountain!-

  I waited for a minute before the dungeon came into action and teleported us to the second timeline and in the middle of Boshi town.

  Let’s go for round 2!

  The PB cave was the next destination. The PB was a trash mob so a simple [Fireball] incinerated it.

  I had gotten so much stronger since Boshi town.

  The Abomination would be the miniboss and the spirit sisters would be the end boss. I would have to use fire for this one. It would take some time before Greg would arrive at Potato Village so I set up some [Boss Music]. I would play a familiar piece; the piece I played on the plaza of Ainahs. It doesn’t have a name so I will call it [Boss music: Ainahs]. So many memories.

  Everyone was ready and the [Boss music] started. It was time for [Fireball]. This time I would humiliate the community by only using [Boss music] and [Fireball]. The abomination got one shot by the heat and the spirit sisters appeared. Gublani was also using fire but I knew it was clever use of wind magic. My [Fireball] swallowed her fire and I blasted half the cave.

  The temperature rose and the sisters started to become slow as they don’t deal well with heat. Narwhani tried to guard with ice skills but they were no match for my [Fireball]. I dynamically adjusted the magic circle of [Fireball] and the cave became a hellscape as I cooked the spirit sisters.

  Oh shit I need to hold back!

  -Guys! Are you done yet?- -Hey Agnis, is it me or are these guardians weaker than I remember?- - I think we’re just way stronger now. I’m about to wipe out all the cultists.-

  - Paul is giving me Agnis vibes but I will just blast the whole cave and take out Paul.-

  I assumed that meant it was time to defeat the guardians so I turned up the heat and cooked the spirit sisters And melted the cave. And blasted a hole into the mountain. I guess I haven’t changed after all. Another mountain had disappeared from the Umbra mountain range.

  -Done!- - Done!- -Almost! Ok done!-

  -Wow Raishin. You lost to Greg in speed.- -Hey! Paul was fast ok! It was hard to hit him!-

  The dungeon brought us to the last timeline because there were no more guardians left. It was just the pink shades. No pink bitch clone or pink Azu clone. I want the groups to get beaten up. I’m not trying to kill them. If they die it’s because they were weak not because my dungeon is a killing machine.

  Time for some teamwork. I will… make some earth pillars to stand on.

  Greg made several earth pillars. Just like in our last timeline of the real Boshi town, the town itself was gone as it had been wiped out. We had a lot of space to fight the guardians now. Multiple [Earth Pillars] jutted out from the ground and Greg stood on one. My tail started [Drowning Pulse] and the area started to slowly flood while Raishin electrified the water.

  [Drowning pulse] was the reason why Greg used the [Earth Pillars]. I would take care of the opponents on the ground level; Greg would take care of those that got launched in the air. And Raishin would do both, mostly also the air because it is my job to cc them and send them flying.

  The spirit sisters come first! Hit them with fire once they get in range Raishin!

  Aye sir!

  I dashed at the spirit sisters, used [Frozen ground], slipped the others and froze their pants to the floor. I used [Frost Mirror] to reflect some fire attacks and dispelled ice attacks. Skillful use of [Azure Spear] knocked Gublani into the air who got blasted by Raishin’s fire attack and Greg launched himself at her to smack her into Raishin’s attack when he missed.

  I kept using [Blindside] on Narwhani to confuse her. I heard a roar and the Mountain broke out. I just used normal ice so that was to be expected. He ripped 2 earth pillars out of the ground and started to flail them around.

  Was he stealing my [Marble Pillar Club] idea? He tried to swing it at me but it got blocked by another pillar. The pillar had been there the whole time... It proved that the Mountain isn’t the smartest mountain in the mountain range.

  He started unearthing earth pillars out of frustration and throwing them at me. I used [Water Dragon Dance] and harassed him while I used [Ice Pillar] to launch Gablani back into the air as Raishin and Greg had dropped her. A large wave of fire rushed at me but I didn’t care. I did however use Narwhani to body block it since she’s weak to fire.

  I then used her to block the Mountain’s punch. It might be possible that I don’t have to do anything. Another wave of fire came at me and I used the meat shield again. This however gave the Mountain free reign.

  The Paul clone got launched into the air after I used [Spatial Flop] and kicked him into the air for Greg and Raishin to deal with. Ira and Paula’s clones were teaming up and using a lot of fire attacks.

  Greg! I need your hammer to deal with the Mountain!

  Can you make a dry patch for me then?

  Does an ice patch work?

  I am going to hammer you too if you let me slip!

  I created a snow patch for Greg to land on as he readied for a sideways hammer swing. I jumped up and Greg swung his hammer which increased in size and hit all our enemies at once. Except for Paul and Gablani which Raishin was blasting around with wind magic.

  Here let me help you.

  I bound them together with wires and flung them at Raishin. He couldn’t possibly miss this, right? He did use his [Lightning Glitter] suggesting he was afraid to miss.

  Eat this! [Raishin Kick]!

  Raishin used his stupid combo which did a lot of damage. The Mountain was out for the count so It was just Narwhani, Paula and Ira left. I needed to get Paula first as I had added a cool feature that if you kill one of the couple first and not simultaneously, the other will enrage and start throwing stupidly powerful skills around.

  It’s your turn Nilah.

  I focused on Paula as my target and unleashed [Quickdraw: Nilah] on Paula the moment Raishin defeated Paul. This took her out.

  Ira got hit in the crossfire but wasn’t defeated yet. A large [Shadowcat] miauwed as it appeared.

  Guys close your ears!

  I put snow in my ears and Raishin put headphones on. The large cat smacked Narwhani around and then Ira and Narwhani suddenly fell asleep. Multiple curses appeared on them as they laid on ther floor. Greg walked over to them covered in shadows while looking edgy.

  He stretched out his hand and black and dark purple miasma got pulled out of the sleeping targets. They writhed around for a bit and then poofed out of existence, just like the other clones did when they got defeated. .

  Well, that was easy. Boshi Town had been defeated in 32 minutes and 15 seconds. It destroyed the previous record of 3 days and 12 hours. Funnily enough almost a third of that time was spent waiting for Greg to arrive at his boss.
