Ghosts Who Train Monsters

Chapter 14: Ghosts Who Train Monsters

Location: Abandoned Industrial Zone – Night

A black car stops in front of a rusted gate.

  Jihan and Daesung step out.

"Are you sure this is the place?" Jihan asked, kicking aside a crushed can.

Daesung checked the message on his phone.

Only three words: “Come Alone – Jun Goo.”

  But Daesung brought Jihan anyway.

Inside the warehouse, it’s dark. Silent.

Until a cigarette sparks in the corner.

Jun Goo steps out of the shadows.

Wearing casual clothes. But the moment he moves—raw pressure fills the air.

Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.

“You brought him?” he said, eyes flicking toward Jihan.

“I trust him,” Daesung said firmly.

  Jun Goo scoffed.

“Tch. Trust gets people killed. But fine. I’ll train both of you.”

  Suddenly, he vanishes.

  CRACK!

Daesung flies back, crashing into a metal barrel.

  Jihan flinches—but doesn’t run.

  Jun Goo appears beside him.

“Rule one: If you can’t see me coming, you die.”

  He vanishes again.

  SLAM!

  Jihan gets launched backward.

Daesung wipes the blood from his lip and grins.

“So that’s how you wanna play?”

Training Begins – 3 Day Montage

Day 1: Blindfolded sparring. Jun Goo takes on both together and still wins.

Day 2: Stamina hell. 500 push-ups after a full-body beatdown. Daesung collapses unconscious—but wakes up laughing.

Day 3: Mental warfare. Jun Goo forces Daesung to fight a mirrored version of himself—his Crazy Mode.

“You keep losing to yourself,” Jun Goo growled.

“You want to win this war?

Learn to control your devil… or it’ll devour you and your friends.”

  Elsewhere – Secret Base

Tatsuya stands in front of a massive map of Seoul.

Red pins. Blue pins. And a single green pin in the center labeled: "Daesung."

  Burn Knuckles Leader walks in.

  “Phase Two is almost ready.”

  Tatsuya doesn’t even look up.

  “Daesung’s getting stronger.

That’s good. The stronger the opponent...

  the better the hunt.”

Back to Warehouse – End of Training

Daesung is drenched in sweat. So is Jihan. Both are bruised. Broken. But grinning.

Jun Goo throws a towel at them.

  “You survived.

Which means you’re now ready to die properly.”

  Daesung raises an eyebrow.

“That’s your version of a compliment?”

  Jun Goo smirks.

  “You’re damn right it is.”

As they leave the warehouse, Daesung turns to Jihan.

  “You didn’t have to come.”

“I know. But someone’s gotta keep your crazy ass in check.”

  Daesung laughs softly.

  “Then don’t fall behind.”

Final Panel: A shadow watches them from a rooftop.

The figure speaks into a radio.

  “Target is adapting quickly.

Tatsuya will need to accelerate the timeline.”
