Chapter 59 – Malnutrition Draco

"What did the doctor say?" Hoare carefully looked Draco up and down.

With the way Draco described his eating habits, his current appearance was definitely abnormal.

How could someo so mud still be so thin!?

  There was clearly something wrong.

"That notebook, I feel something's off about it. You should stop using it," Hoare advised, sidering it was Draco's possession.

"Riddle is still quite friendly," Draced, looking uned.

"The me borrow it for a few days?" Seeing Draco's reluce to let go, Hoare decided to make a request.

Draco frowned in thought, then smirked mischievously, extending his right hand, "Sure, for a price~"

Hoare sneered, "I won't take on your Prefect duties month."

"Don't be mad, don't be mad, Henry, here you go, but just for a few days." Draco quickly handed over the diary upon hearing this.

The first-year Prefect duties were quite simple, mainly overseeing attendance, homework, and helping cssmates with things they didn't uand.

Draco had been a Prefect for nearly half a year, and he could hahe other tasks perfectly, as taking attendand cheg homework were quite prestigious.

But when it came to helping cssmates with questions, Draco didn't have the patience, so he outsourced it to Hoare.

sidering they were cssmates, Draao get a bundled price.

Fifty Galleons a month for 100 questions, with ara questions charged at one Galleon each.

"Let's see if your appetite returns to normal," Hoare said, taking the notebook.

Hoare still believed Draco's abnormality was reted to the diary.

Staying away from it should help him recover.

There was already one person lingering in the infirmary rec, and if there was a third, who knows what chaos would ensue.

Hoare weighed the notebook in his hand, not opening it, and tossed it directly into his Ste Bag, curious to see what trouble the third would stir up.

The past six months had beeful enough.

With final exams approag, Hoare didn't want any more troublesome is.

Moreover, Hoare frowned, recalling that the diary eventually ended up in his little sister Ginny's hands.

The thought of his little sister chatting and fiding with the man with a snake face made Hoare's brow furrow tightly.

Better find a time to destroy the third.

Draco thought Hoare was worried about his health and expined, "The doctor said it's a normal growth spurt, it'll pass in a few years."

"Besides, my dad said our family does tend to eat more during puberty."

Hoare... Is this just eating a bit more???

At the dining table, Hoare watched as Draco, in a whirlwind of eating, cleared the surrounding food in no time.

These days, Draco's appetite had bee increasingly exaggerated.

It started with just double the normal amount.

Now he could almost clear half a table's worth of food by himself.

And that was a long table!

During dinner, many Slytherin students were left hungry, as the house-elves couldn't keep up with someone's eating speed.

  "Burp~"

As Draco finally showed signs of being full, Snape, with his bck robe billowing, quickly stepped down from the head table, and Hrabbed Draco, leading the three of them out of the Great Hall.

"Henry, where are you taking me?" Draco asked, bewildered, "Headmaster? What's going on?"

Hoare didn't reply, leading Draco to the infirmary.

"Madam Pomfrey," Hreeted politely, "Please take a look at him."

Hoare pushed Draco towards Madam Pomfrey.

Madam Pomfrey looked Draco up and down, puzzled by his rosy plexion, and turo Snape behind them, "Professor Snape, what's wrong with this child?"

"Everything. Madam Pomfrey, please check everything," Snape said darkly.

Seeing Snape's insistence, Madam Pomfrey nodded in agreement.

A basic full-body check wasn't plicated, just a few spells.

Draco was taken into a cubicle for examination by Madam Pomfrey.

Hoare and Snape waited at the door.

The atmosphere was tense, as aside from Potions, Hoare and Snape didn't have much to talk about.

The examination took about ten minutes.

Draerged, and Madam Pomfrey looked at Sh displeasure, "Professor Snape, are you not feeding this child? My Merlin! How there still be malnourished children these days!"

"No, I must inform Dumbledore. I suspect there's child abuse happening within Slytherin."

  Madam Pomfrey was visibly angry.

Snape rubbed his temples, "His surname is Malfoy."

Just that surname silenced Madam Pomfrey immediately.

In the wizarding world, anyone might go hungry, but not the Malfoys.

  "Malnourished?" Hoare frowned.

Dra front of him was growing thinner.

When he first returo school, he just had a sharp , but now his limbs were gaunt, and his cheeks were sunken.

He looked like he had been starved for a long time.

"I'm so hungry..." Draco suddenly spoke, his voice trembling, and he seemed unsteady on his feet, looking very unwell.

Seeing Draco's dition, Madam Pomfrey, who was about to leave, immediately sensed something wrong and hurriedly helped Drato a bed.

  She cast a diagnostic spell.

"How could this be!?" Madam Pomfrey excimed in shock.

"What is it, Madam Pomfrey?" Hoare asked.

"He's now severely malnourished and needs immediate food supplementation." Madam Pomfrey was well aware of the results from her previous examination.

He was just ordinarily malnourished before!

  In such a short time!

How could a perfectly fine person bee like this!?

Draco, lying on the bed, could only let out weak moans.

"Madam Pomfrey, please take care of him while I notify his father," Snape frowhis situation required a more thh examination at St. Mungo's, or Draight starve to death.

"Alright, I'll give him some emergency potions."

Before Madam Pomfrey could finish speaking, Dra the bed let out a pained and weak cry.

"I'm starving! Please, give me something to eat! Henry, Henry! I'm really so hungry!"

Hoare quickly took out all his energy-rest potions from his Ste Bag, "Madam Pomfrey, please give Draco a bottle."

Madam Pomfrey reized the potion as an energy-rest one and, trusting Hoare's skills, fed it to Draco without hesitation.

Hoare was worried that if it was indeed reted to the diary, Draight be g in vitality and spirit.

He watched as Madam Pomfrey fed the energy-rest potion to Draco.

Within seds, Draco stopped g out in hunger and appeared relieved.

Madam Pomfrey hurried to inform Headmaster Dumbledore, as this was beyond the infirmary's capabilities.

Hoare checked the clock, calg the time.

Draco, realizing something was wrong, looked terrified and no longer called for his father, instead curling up uhe covers.

About fifteen mier, Draco suddenly threw off the covers, looking like he was at his limit.

Hoare uood the look in his eyes and pced another potion by his side.

  Draco drank it down, g.

The sed time, it took thirteen minutes.

  The third time, ten minutes.

  The intervals were rapidly decreasing.

This was a very w sign.

  Hoare's fears were firmed.

The diary had been with Hoare these past few days.

To be safe, he had ed it in a space-isoting b a it in his Ste Bag.

He could guarantee Draco had no e into tact with it.

But now, seeing Draco's rea, ohis dev e was established, uhe third ihe diary was pletely destroyed...

Draight be ed entirely, dying in agony.
