Hi everyone, I'm Sophia.

  This story was written by me but I used AI tools to help with editing, and structure. Every word, every idea, and every piece of emotion came from my heart. AI didn't write the book but it helped shape it into something clearer, cleaner, and closer to the story I wanted to tell. This included light editing, focused brainstorming, and structural refinement.

  One day, I hope I can afford to work with professional editors. That's a goal I'm working toward. But right now, AI is the most accessible tool I have as an indie writer and I won't pretend otherwise.

  I know some people have strong feelings about AI in the creative process and that's valid. But for me, it's just a tool, not a replacement for the work. In a world where it's easy to polish an illusion, I choose to be real. I'm not here to chase shortcuts or pretend this was effortless. I care more about honesty than looking perfect.

  Using AI doesn't take away from the integrity of my work. I still did the hard part: imagining the world, writing the characters, building the plot, and staying up way too late obsessing over the smallest details. AI just helped me shape it into something I could be proud to share.

  I stand by this story with my whole chest. Nothing replaces a writer's voice, vision, and vulnerability. That's what lives on these pages.
