I wake up in a puddle of my own dried blood. The memories of the invisible thrones made me shudder. I tried to get up but didn’t have enough strength. All I can do is lie there. I know now that I need to get stronger.
I remember my telekinesis skill and try to use it again. I look around the old alley and see a small pile of leaves not too far from where I lie. I imagined a leaf moving towards me. It felt like a third hand was slowly reaching closer to the leaf.
As this third hand grabbed the leaf and started pulling it back. A horrible headache filled my mind, but I was determined. I feel the leaf touch my hand, and a huge smile spreads across my face. As this happens, I remember Eria and the first time I tried to use telekinesis.
My mood was trampled on, and the desire to grow stronger burned brighter. But my body and mind are exhausted, and I could feel sleep creeping up on me. I fall asleep in the same spot I woke up in.
I wake up to the sun beaming down on me. Remembering where I am try to get up; this time I can with a bit of effort. I stumble out of the alley and into the street. I wander into the nearby inn. As I enter, the dy at the front desk looks at me with a concerned expression. I remember that my shirt is covered in blood.
“How much is a room?” I ask the dy.
“25 copper,” she replied. I fiddle through my pockets, grabbing stray coins. I give her the money and get a key. I head up to my room, excited to take a bath. Technology is boosted by magic in this world; for example, your bathwater will never lose its heat. You can heat food instantly, repair non-magic items in seconds, and make life overall easier.
In my room I looked at the mirror, something I haven’t seen since I entered this world. I have long brown hair and brown eyes that shine red in the light of the sun. My nose is slim with a few freckles. In the game, Ben now has a red vine tattoo surrounding his neck. This tattoo marked me as an enemy of all witches.
After I take a bath and wash my clothes, I lie down and try to move my hair with my mind. I was able to move my hair with my third hand, then the headache came. I gave up doing anything more and released my mind to sleep.
