"Can you take off your hoodie?" I ask directly.
She shakes her head. "I must refuse this. I don't see any coherence in your actions."
"I want to read those letters. They look interesting."
"Oh, I have a tattoo of the Ten Commandments on my back. Is that interesting to you?"
"What language is that?"
"Hebrew."
I would like to see it naked so I can praise it. Actually, I could have known it if I was allowed... She just spits at my face. I try to understand what just happened. I blink at her.
"What was that for?" I ask.
I wipe the spit off my face and lick it. I lick my finger, then swallow the spit. Tasty. Free Will sees me do so. She looks disgusted and tired. Then she walks to the bed in the cell. As she lies on the bed she curses. She moves her hands over her eyes and hisses aloud. I didn't sadden her on purpose, but she misunderstood me. I just do it. I just swallow her spit. In some life I visited it is a good sign of friendship. But here it is not welcome. I walk to the bars of the light cage and hold them tight.
"I am sorry, did I do something wrong?" I ask.
She remains silent. I think I'd better give her some time. Let me wander around and gather some information. I won't just walk randomly. I'll wait here until that person comes. Who is she? I want to learn more, but I'm getting bored with this place - it's mysterious, yet boring. I walk away from the cage and to the end of the pavement. I lean forward and look into the void below. If I lean forward any more, I'll fall into the void, which would be bad for my survival.
I'll wait for her here until she comes. I can just stare into the black space. I squat down and sit at the edge of the pavement, my feet hanging loosely downwards. I hope no one will push me off the pavement. I'll close my eyes and wait here until I sense any change around me. I close my eyes and start waiting.
As I wait I count down. After a while I open my eyes. I have counted enough seconds that are totally three hours.
I look backwards at the cage in the distance. Wait a second! The cage shines brighter. What does that mean? Free Will looks anxious in the cage, walking swiftly. She looks irritated. I stand up and stretch my body. I think that person is coming. Free Will said she would visit the cage every few hours. I must be seeing her, but I can't see anybody. Let me ask Free Will about this. I run to the cage.
As I run, I see someone. But as soon as I see her, she runs away. I change my direction and run in her direction. She is running towards the end of the pavement. She is a little way ahead of me. If I run faster, I can reach her. But I promised I wouldn't use any of my abilities. This includes physical advantages over people. So I have to trust my body. I would have already prevailed over her, anyway.
The person is near the end of the pavement. She hasn't changed direction, but she stops. I will catch her in minutes. She can't jump off. After all, she must not be powerful. Otherwise, she wouldn't have run away from me. She stops and turns around. I am still running towards her. She looks at me. Her face looks confused. I am about to reach her! Wait! Her feet start to lift off. She floats upwards. Is she flying? She floats away from the pavement. She thinks I won't be able to catch her like this.
I come to the end of the pavement. One step will lead to my fall. But I want to talk to her so much. I have no choice! I step to the edge and jump off the pavement. I go high up. And that's what I want now. I am at the level of her feet in the air. I catch her by the wrist. She screams aloud.
"Leave me alone!"
She shakes her body. I think she's trying to shake me off. I look downwards and see the depth of the void. No thanks, I won't fall down again. I push myself upwards and grab her other wrist with my other hand. I climb up on her body. She tries to push me off her, but can't. I climb up to her shoulders and hug her tight. This way, I won't fall, and she will have to listen to me.
Our cheeks are touching each other. This scene is too gay, I think. I hope she's not a male. I must check. I swing my right hand loosely. The hand moves to her groin. There is no bulge. Fine, she's female. She screams.
"Leave me alone, please! I beg you to stop."
Oh, my bad. I forgot to pull my hand off her groin. I pull my hand and move it to her back. I hug her tight again, feeling her chest on my chest. I need to investigate her; otherwise, I'll be stuck here forever. I still don't want to cheat.
"Sir, I'll do whatever you want. Please, don't hurt me!"
Her voice is soft and trembling. I think I should be more scared because I'm not flying like her now, only because I don't want to. Of course, I would have flown with ease if I wanted to.
I move my lips to her ear and whisper, "Please land on the pavement. Or I'll have to bite your throat until you're dead."
This is the moment I might lick or bite her ear. This would make her obedient. At least that has always been the case in some fiction I read.
She gulps, then nods. I wish I could read her mind. Sad that I'm not allowed to. She starts to float downwards. We're heading back onto the pavement. As we near it, I jump off her. As my feet land on the ground, I catch her by the hand. She's still floating in the air, her feet off the ground. I hold her hand tight. With my other hand, I grab something.
I'm holding onto a metal bar. It's bent at the center and fixed to the ground. It's about my height. I think this is a bicycle rack or something. I don't know. I'm holding it like my life depends on it, because I'm preventing her from flying away. I think she would have done so if I hadn't grabbed her hand.

"Tell me your name, and I'll leave you alone!" I ask.
The person tries to escape from my grip. She realizes she won't be able to after a few attempts. Then she lands on the ground and looks straight at me.
"My name is Eternal Light," she says.
"My nickname is Starch," I say, "and unfortunately, I lied to you. I'm not letting you go."
"You promised me you'd leave me alone!" she exclaims.
"You have to deal with this. Now you'll answer my questions."
I'm acting too assertively. However, since I'm not using my abilities, I might risk my life here. Nothing bad for me, though - it's bad for my death count.
"Why is Free Will in the cage?" I ask, pulling her closer.
She moves nearer to me. I see her cheeks blush. Again, I wish I could read her mind, but I'd better focus on my mission. Oh, she's not answering my question. She frowns in confusion.
"Is it hard to answer?" I ask her.
She looks like she's thinking.
"No, sir, I won't tell you anything. Leave me alone!" she shouts.
She shouts too loud. I look around, but there's no one nearby.
"Look, I want to help her escape the cage!" I say.
Suddenly, she stops and looks at me. Her gaze is curious now. There's no door that can't be opened by force.
"How did you enter this life?" she asks.
"Oh, now you're asking something I can't answer. Would you like to exchange answers? I'll answer your question, and then you'll do the same for me."
She nods. "Ask me."
"Tell me why Free Will is inside a cage that shines like a sun?"
Eternal Light explains to me the reason for her imprisonment. And to my surprise, she mentions many details I didn't know about this life. Let me tell you about them in order. First, Free Will is held here because she possesses something dangerous - an ability that can control people like a puppet. She can control people's shadows, and therefore their movements. It's a really awkward reason to be put here. Also, she'll have to stay here until Eternal Light dies. This life is a prison and is only made up of flying pavements and buildings. Wait, I forgot to ask about Eternal Light's lifetime.
"How long will you be around as her guardian?" I ask.
Eternal Light gulps. "There are still 1254 years left. Then I'll fade away like a star."
"Wait, why did you suddenly change your opinion? Now you're telling me more than I wished for."
"I'm also a guardian here. I'm not here by choice. I don't have any problem with Free Will. They use me because of my power."
"What is your power, and who are they?"
"My ability is that shadows disappear in the life I'm in. And they are... I'd better stop talking. I've talked enough."
"Why did you tell me all about those things? To be honest, I don't care about them."
"I want to leave this place and go back to my family!"
"That means you need help as well."
I look at the bar I'm holding, then at the hand I'm holding. I hope she won't fly away as I let her go.
"I'll let you go, but you won't fly away. Promise me."
"I promise."
I let her go. Then I wait for a while, and she doesn't fly away. Oh, that means I'm the only one who has ever lied here.
For some reason I would like to try a new style. The author is not going to handle my thoughts and my perspective. Anyway, the concept will be the same, but only the style will be different. Let's try. it. Try to write this content in third person past.
Starch looked backward. She could see the light cage. She swiftly contemplated the situation. She had been to such weird places before many times. But she didn't know what to do. And for some reason, this place bored her. But also, she wanted to do something. As always, she wanted to get lost in the unlimited possibilities. That was her life. Always had been and always would be.
She could have run away, sent herself elsewhere, or gotten laid with Eternal Life or Free Will. Or with both. It didn't matter. It wouldn't matter. Because life, depending on any of her choices, would go on. And she would be around forever as well.
But she had to do something.
She thought: "I don't know what to do now. Why can't I just walk away? Wait! Maybe not using my abilities bores me. Let me leave out this rule. From now on, I am free to do anything I want."
Starch wished for Free Will and Eternal Light to be free. She also wished to be in the place she had been before she was here. First, she moved back to the place. There, she looked at the mirror. The mirror was the same luxurious one. She smiled seeing it. Then she looked at the broken chair on the ground. She wished for it to repair itself. The chair stood still and became as it was before. Fixed and repaired. Starch jumped onto it and sat in it.
Starch: "Ah, let me watch the consequences of my decision upon them."
The information hit her like a stone sent at her face. First, the background information came. Free Will was a mother of two, a married woman to two husbands. Starch didn't find it strange because she had seen such customs before.
Free Will was happy in her life. However, one day she bought a vibrator for naughty reasons. And as she used it to masturbate, she obtained strange skills. She was able to control shadows. The reason for this was that the gods of shadows had hidden her powers in a random vibrator. There was no reason for it. The reason was entertainment. Starch knew gods did strange things for fun.
However, later the god forgot the vibrator. Free Will obtained her powers after using the cursed vibrator for her pleasure. She hid her powers from her family. She just used them for her benefit. For example, she stole stuff. But Starch didn't want to get into the details. She wanted to learn how she was sent to the light prison.
There were creatures called hunters. They were greedy and selfish. They looked similar to one another. The appearance were like this: Every part of their body were black. They wore gray jackets and gray top hats. Starch didn't care about their look. She wanted to learn their behaviors.
They stole people's identities for their collection. To not be noticed, they stole only from those who lived in the limited worlds. The worlds had physics rules for everything that existed in them. Whatever contradicted those laws, they tracked them down. Those people were the prey for them. In this case Free Will.
Starch didn't care about this fantastic element. She skipped forward to the answer for the light cage. The life where Free Will was imprisoned was created by the hunters. The cage was made of light because light suppressed Free Will's shadow curse ability.
Starch: "How did they manage to erase shadows?"
Eternal Light was created for this. She was a random girl at first glance. But she was a weapon against Free Will. Hunters created her. With the help of some gods, they hid the eternal light of gods inside her body. Wherever she went, shadows disappeared. That's her skill. And with the help of light, she managed to fly as well.
Starch thought: "She used this trick when I chased her. Brilliant."
She jumped off the chair and landed on the ground. She yawned.
Starch: "That means those hunters used that life as a prison. Smart. But I am not interested in this mysterious, unjust situation. I will just create a floor bed and roll into it. And I will sleep until another awkward thing comes to me. I freed them with a wish. I don't care what will happen to them from now on. They are free because I wished for it. Anything might have happened. But I do not care."
She wished for a bed. A mattress appeared, laying itself in front of her. A pillow fell from above, right at the head of the mattress. She got to her knees and slid underneath the blanket. The blanket had come with the mattress. Starch closed her eyes. She hoped Eternal Light and Free Will were fine. She wished to fall asleep and then fell asleep.
