The Strongest Transcendent In History Is The Strongest

  Chapter 6: The Finals

The atmosphere in the arena was charged with anticipation as Zen’nō, with an air of serene authority, calmly announced, “Next up, we have the much-anticipated match between Kurokami and Kiro.”

Stepping into the arena, I shared the space with Kurokami, whose presence was equally commanding. With a steady gaze fixed on me, she stated, “May the best person win,” her tone dripping with an understated confidence that reflected her years of rigorous training.

I nodded in agreement, replying simply, “Agreed,” my voice steady and calm, even as adrenaline began to pump through my veins.

Zen’nō raised his hand, signaling the commencement of the battle with the simple yet powerful command, “Begin!”

Kurokami and I, two skilled martial artists, stand side by side in a moment of focused intensity, preparing to demonstrate their next technique.

As the match unfolded, Kurokami deftly assumed her fighting stance, she adopts a classic "Horse Stance," a stable and grounded pose where her feet are shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and her body lowered. This stance not only enhances her balance but also prepares her for a powerful strike or defense. Her arms are positioned in front of her, fists clenched and ready, exuding a sense of confidence and control.

In contrast, I decide to showcase the "Crane Stance," a pose that emphasizes agility and poise. I stands on one leg, with the other leg raised and bent at the knee, holding it just above my supporting ankle. my arms are elegantly extended to the sides, creating a sense of graceful readiness, embodying both strength and fluidity. This stance allows me to move swiftly and gracefully, showcasing my finesse and skill in martial arts. Together, the duo represents a striking balance between stability and agility, each clearly conveying their unique fighting styles through these powerful stances.

In contrast, I take a stance of my own,

From the sidelines, Katsuba observed the tense standoff, his brow furrowing in confusion. “Why is no one fighting?” he inquired, perplexed by the palpable tension that filled the air.

Shiro, leaning casually against the wall, offered an explanation, “That’s because they’re analyzing each other. It’s a tactical phase where each combatant is waiting for the other to make a move. They’re feeling each other out, looking for the perfect opening to strike."

Katsuba nodded slowly, a smile spreading across his face as he remarked, “Well, that certainly explains it,” now fully engaged in the cerebral aspects of the match.

Suddenly, I moved just the slightest muscle, a tiny shift that could have been mistaken for nerves, but in reality, it was calculated. “Uh oh,” I said, feigning fear as a playful smirk crossed my lips.

Seizing the opportunity, Kurokami sprang into action, charging towards me with a fierce determination, her fist aimed directly at my gut. “Take this!” she yelled, her voice filled with the thrill of the challenge.

Yet, I couldn’t help but grin as I nonchalantly responded, “Kidding! Get baited.” With a swift counter, I captured her punch with my hands, redirecting her momentum and swiftly launching an uppercut that connected solidly with her chin, sending her reeling backward.

Kurokami stumbled but quickly regained her footing, revealing a testament to her resilience as she stood, now covered in scratches but undeterred. “I’m not done yet!” she shouted, her spirit unbroken.

I remained poised, adopting a calm demeanor as I invited her to come at me. “Come at me then,” I said coolly, my eyes fixed on her every move.

In response, Kurokami unleashed a powerful dropkick aimed at my head, a blow designed to catch me off guard. “Take this!” she declared, her voice imbued with fierce determination.

With deft reflexes, I ducked beneath the aerial assault and, seizing the moment, grabbed her airborne leg just before it could connect. In one fluid motion, I slammed her down onto the ground, adding a little flair to my victory by saying, “Not bad,” acknowledging her impressive skills.

Covered in bruises and scratches but fueled by unwavering determination, Kurokami slowly rose to her feet, exuding the spirit of a true warrior. “I’m not done yet!” she proclaimed once again, ready for the next exchange.

“Come at me then,” I invited, my tone still cool and collected.

With fierce resolve, Kurokami threw a punch, shouting, “Take this!” as she tried to catch me off guard once more.

I sidestepped her strike with ease, and in a swift motion, I captured her arm, locking it firmly in my grasp. “I commend you, warrior. You’ve fought valiantly, but it’s over now.” I pulled her forward, using her momentum against her, and delivered a decisive palm strike to her gut with my other hand.

The impact sent Kurokami flying across the room, slamming against the wall with a thud, finally collapsing in unconsciousness, a testament to the intensity of our battle.

Zen’nō observed the scene with a calm demeanor, noting the inevitable conclusion of the match. “Kurokami is out,” he announced, his voice echoing authority. “Kiro is now the winner of the training grounds,” he concluded, his tone unwavering.

As the reality of the match sank in, the spectators erupted into warm applause, their appreciation for the fierce competition resonating through the arena, marking the conclusion of an exhilarating bout that would be talked about long after the arena had emptied.
