An endless dimension–where time has no meaning. The universe itself coils around the walls, stretching infinitely. At its center, an injured old man kneels before a throne, battered yet unbroken.
“Atlas, please, I need another chance,”- The man pleads as his voice caught between desperation and defiance “Aid me once more.”
You failed so many times. More times than time itself. What makes you think you’ll succeed now?
The older man clenches his fist so tight blood nearly seeps through his fingers “The story isn’t over yet”
The Shadow figure leans forward, locking eyes with him–eyes that seem to piece through existence itself. He laughs, menacingly.
Out of all the beings, you are most fascinating to witness. Go forth, try again. Prove who you truly are.
The older man grins once more, his breath ragged yet filled with conviction, “I will prove them all wrong, every last one of them.”
Life, so unique and interesting. I wonder if he will pass. No. Not if he passes, but how. How will you pass? I can’t wait to see your fullest potential N-...
The evening soars, as the cars hum through the busy streets.
There lies a boy in his room, who is listening to his music, watching his ceiling as if he’s expecting it to fall on him. His eyes suddenly raise as if a heavy force hit him.
“Maybe I should start doing my homework now.” Said the boy, as he began to sweat profanely.
The boy got up, and went towards his desk, opened his laptop. He went on his Canvas site, and began to check any assignments he had to do.
A woman yelled, in a heartfelt tone, “Nicholas, Dinner is ready!”
Nicholas, the boy, didn’t pay no thought to the woman’s voice. He was immersed through the assignments and the music.
The woman let out an exhausting sigh, “Kids these days.” She began to walk towards Nicholas' room. As she was walking in the hallway, she noticed a portrait of the entire family, including the father, and the brother. She paused on her path.
“Victor Dear, Benjamin. I hope you fare better in the afterlife.” The woman said in a disheartening tone. She began to slowly walk to Nick’s room again.
“Nicholas, open up! Dinner is ready” As she knocked gently on the cold door.
Nicholas, continuing to type away on his assignment, notices a bright light outside. It's bright as the sun, but faint enough that it is not near.
“What is that? It looks to be near the Elmhorst District” Nick curiously said, as he got off his laptop and checked his window.

The woman opened the door, and said “Hey Nicholas, didn’t you hear me call your name a few times?”
Nicholas, heart beating fast for a moment, “Jesus mom, you didn’t have to scare me like that”
The mother replied, “Well I wouldn’t have to, if you had answered me calling your name. Why are you even looking out the window?”
Nicholas as he looked confused, “Don’t you see the lig-” before he finished his sentence, he turned around and gasped as the light was gone.
“What the hell? Where did it go?” Nick scaringly said.
The mother replied, “Have you been eating enough? You seem to be falling into delusions now.”
Nicholas, sparingly argued, “B-but it was right there…”
The mother, gave a concerned, and a heavy look, said “Come let’s eat already, the food is getting cold.”
“Alright…fine…” Nick replied.
As they began to walk to the dining table, Nick thought to himself “What was that light? It looked like the sun, but much weaker than it. Maybe nothing too serious to worry about. It's already gone anyway”
The mother, and Nick began to dine in.
While they began to eat, the scene shifts to the busy streets, in an alcohol shop.
A blind man, with a green walking staff, drank to his heart content.
The Blind man, slurring, said, “H-heyyy man. Just let me buy this p-p-please”
The older cashier looked concerned, and replied “ Sir please, this is the 5th time you came by to buy Vodka. I can’t continue doing this.
The Blind man angrily said “ Li-li-listen here young man, I am o-o-on Important business. These drinks are ne-ne-necessary for me.
The Cashier in an empathic tone said “This is for your own safety. If you have problems, therapy and rehab can help.
The Blind man continued to drink, and said “Therapy!?!??! Rehab!?!?! What kind of hobo boogie shit is this? Just give it to me.
The Cashier replied back, “Bu-” before he could finish, the blind man grabbed the drink and threw money at the counter. He began to drunkenly walk out of the front door before he paused, and looked up at the sky
The blind man in a serious tone, clenched his staff and vodka “So…he did it huh. That rubbish bastard actually did it.”
The cashier looked more confused than ever before, while he was putting the money in the register, “What happened sir?”
The blind man replied back, “You may want to slowly leave the city in the near future. All hell will break loose eventually.” he began to walk away drunkenly.
“It has begun, Raptor. Locate it at once.” The blind man said, as he was drunkenly walking to an alleyway.
“Aye-Aye Sir Rionel!” The raptor replied, as he began to fly away towards the light from Elmhorst district.
Rionel, thought to himself, in a concerning look, “We are walking in uncharted territory now. Atlas pray for me, for I the great Rionel, will be the one to claim back what was my masters.”
The scene shifts back to Nicholas room, where Nick was on his chair checking his laptop, after the dinner they had. Nicholas notices an important email from the student union.
Nicholas, as he thought to himself, “A trip? To London? Around December? But it is too expensive. I don’t think mom would let me.”
As Nicholas began to put away an email, he felt a heavy presence towards him. As if somebody was watching him. He looked around his room, but to no avail.
“Is it coming from outside?!?!” Nicholas said, as he rushed towards the same window he saw the light. Nothing appeared in his surroundings.
Outside, a few blocks away an unknown figure stood there menacingly. She smiled profusely, before walking away.
