Chapter 2: HAPPY SYSTEM
Scene begins – Before MDHK wakes up
Inside the cave, the goblin elders sit in a circle, whispering urgently.
Elder 1: “There’s no hope left. Those who survived were taken by the humans. The leaders… they’re all gone.”
Elder 2: “We searched the ruins. Elder Shuri is missing.”
Elder 3: “Then the Young Master must rise. He’s the last of the leader’s bloodline.”
Elder 4: “But he hasn’t woken in hours. He may still be in shock.”
Elder 1: “We wait one more hour. If he doesn’t wake, we choose a new leader from among the youth.”
Elder 2 (grim): “The elder’s seat cannot remain empty. The Supreme One will curse us all.”
Suddenly, thunder roars. The cave shakes.
All Elders (terrified): “Oh Supreme One! Please calm your wrath! We will choose a leader!”
Elder 3: “Someone, check on the Young Master!”
Several goblins rush down the tunnel.
Villager: “Young Master!”

They stop. He’s already standing — silent, calm, eyes sharp.
Unknown to them, a black screen with a creepy smile floats in front of MDHK — visible only to him.
MDHK (firmly): “Silence.”
The villagers step back. The elders arrive and kneel.
Elder 1: “Please, become our leader. Save us.”

[MDHK’s Thoughts]
So… these are the four elders: Sun, Moon, Darkness, and Lightness — brothers, loyal to my father.
And there are my friends… Gobo, 18. The other, my age — 15. Like me, he has no name yet. Names are given at 15 by the village leader.
Today was supposed to be our naming ceremony.
Now, I must lead.
Only 20 goblins remain:
4 elders
5 adult males
5 females
3 young goblins
3 children
Aging here is different.
From birth to 15: 1 month = 1 Earth year
15 to 30: 6 months = 1 Earth year
30 to 50: normal aging
After 50: every year feels like five

MDHK (clears throat): “I will become leader. But I won’t follow the old rules. Everything must change.”
“There are only two things I ask for: loyalty… and obedience.”
Silence. Then—
Elder Moon (angrily): “How dare you reject our laws! If you won’t follow tradition, step down!”
MDHK (calm, cold): “So you oppose me, Elder Moon?”
He steps forward.
MDHK: “Those who support me, come to my side. Those who oppose — stand with the elders.”
He scans the room.
MDHK: “If I become leader, humans will never see us as weak again. They think monsters are slaves — playthings. But that ends now.”
MDHK’s thoughts:
This is the promise I made… to the soul of this body.

Gobo steps forward, tears in his eyes. Others follow.
Gobo:
“My parents died protecting me. My brother… taken by humans.
If I die, let it be like a warrior — not a coward.”
“All of us here lost someone. We believe in you, Young Master.
We greet you as our leader.”
The others join. Even the children.
Only three elders remain.
Elder: “We will follow the people’s will. You are our leader.”
Everyone bows deeply.
All (shouting):
“We greet our new leader! Teach those humans what pain truly means!”

A black screen appears before him, smiling eerily. At first, he’s frozen. Then slowly, he touches it.

MDHK:

Don’t worry — one day, I’ll come for you.”
Suddenly, blackout. A young goblin soul appears.
Goblin Soul (softly):
“If you’re using my body… make them pay.
Make them pay for everything they did to me…”
It fades away into the dark.
