Chapter 25: Eldra Kaitis
“Why so blue?” I sat down next to the little Rutian Twi’lek girl. Well, once I sat down, we were actually about the same size. I looked down at my pale hands and smiled wryly. They shook and my throat ached a bit. But I managed to keep breathing, no matter how cold it was on the frozen mountain peak.
“Why so white?” The girl retorted as she turned to glare at me, rage simmering behind the surface of those pretty azure eyes. I could see a ring of crimson forming around the edges of her irises while the sclera were bloodshot.
“I was born this way.” I smirked at her disbelief, “In another life at least. In this one, I was born red. Hmm, red, white and blue-”
“I don’t know how, but I will stop you.” She breathed out a long sigh and when she opened her eyes again, they were back to that pretty blue shade again. Then she turned to look out towards the horizon. On the ground was a battlefield. Giant metal mechs were marching towards trenches and bunkers in the snow. Red beams were flying back and forth between the two sides.
“You’re really cute.” I looked at her Lekku that were twitching and writhing around, trying to touch me. But she was obviously forcing them to behave to the best of her ability.
“I know where you are. Once my Master saves me or I escape from these pirates on my own, I’m going to find you and stop you from destroying the Republic.”
“The Republic is doing a great job of destroying itself already.” I snickered and pointed to the battlefield down there, “Does that look like it has anything to do with me?”
“Well… No.” She shook her head, “You said that this was an alternate timeline event…”
“I said that? When did I say it? Are you sure the Force isn’t fucking with your head?” I rubbed her smooth blue scalp and she glared at me again, “Besides, didn’t you say you were captured by pirates? I feel like that’s a way more pressing issue than some existential threat that I might pose to a dying Republic or an emerging Empire.”
“The Force is trying to help me…” The Jedi didn’t sound very sure of herself, “It was trying to warn me, but I didn’t understand the message… That’s why I fell into a trap and got captured.”
“Did they get you with the old Distress Signal trick?” As soon as I asked, her expression fell even further, “Of course they did. And of course you fell for it, because you’re a good girl who wants to help people, regardless of your own personal safety.”
“I’m a Jedi. It’s my duty to help those in need. To go where the Force wills and-”
“And get captured, raped and enslaved by pirates?” I rolled my eyes and ran my fingers down her trembling Lekku.
She had tears in her eyes as she asked, “Can you tell Master Yaddle I’m sorry for me?”
“Master Yaddle?” I raised an eyebrow as she sniffled, “You’re Master Yaddle’s Padawan? What’s your name again? I’m Amon Kal.”
“Eldra Kaitis.” The moment she said the name, I had a flash of memory. A relatively unknown character, but she was a hot blue Twi’lek girl, so obviously I’d seen her appear in some fanfics. She was sold at an auction in… 33 BBY? Darth Maul killed her to satiate his bloodlust and become a Sith or some such bullshit.
Because of my butterflies though, she could end up as a sex slave or dead way before then. Or they might just freeze her in carbonite and lock her away in a storage cellar somewhere in the Galaxy or pass her around as some wall ornament. A Jedi Padawan from decades ago, frozen forever in carbonite for a low price of 9,999 Credits!
“How old are you?” It might seem like a random question, but it was important.
“Eighteen, in Galactic Standard Time.” She sniffled again, “Why? How old are you?”
“Also eighteen.” Galactic Standard years are 368 days, “When were you born exactly? Let me guess, the third day of the New Year Fete Week?”
“We were both born on the same day? What are the odds of that?” She frowned and suddenly touched my right cheek with her left hand, “Is that why we’re connected like this?”

“Probably has something to do with it for sure.” As I spoke, the scenery around us changed dramatically. We were standing in front of each other, with a grassy plain around us. I looked over at a certain spot that seemed very bright, a green light.
“Woof~! Woof~!” A big green dog that looked kinda like a golden retriever started running over to us.
“Zerah!” Eldra shouted as the adorable puppy pounced, knocking her onto the grass!
“Dog-7, one of the first puppies I created that my mother actually sold off-world.” I crouched down and ran my hand down the fluffy green fur.
“Wait, you created Zerah?!” She pushed the dog’s face away and asked, “How is that possible? My master bought her fifteen years ago!”
“I think I was three years old back then? I’m surprised she’s still alive. I didn’t design her to live this long.” I also didn’t figure out immortality back then, though I intentionally didn’t make most of those pets immortal. After all, who knows whether some mad Sith scientist would come after me before I was ready?
“I remember that was when Master Yaddle brought me to the temple.” As she said that, the scenery changed again and the cute dog disappeared. We were standing outside a house on the prairie. A Rutian Twi’lek woman was playing some kinda lute for a few little girls. One purple and one with brown skin. Both of them were also Twi’leks though.
“Your Mom?” I walked over and peeked inside the window of the house, but I couldn’t see anything.
“Jedi are supposed to cut off their attachments to family.” Even though she said that, Eldra couldn’t hide the longing expression on her face. Those Lekku were trying to reach out towards her mother, but her feet were backing away.
“My Mom’s blue too.” I walked over and took the girl’s hand, pulling her closer to the woman and the children, “She’s an asshole, used me to make money from the time I was a toddler and then got me banished once my research started scaring people. But I still love the bitch. That’s just how it goes.”
“Love leads to fear. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate and hate leads to suffering…” Eldra repeated mechanically as I guided her hand to her mother’s face. The woman looked up and smiled at her, “You’re trying to turn me to the Dark Side.”
“Nah, I’m not a Sith.” I chuckled and guided her hand down to that delicate throat, “Go ahead and sever your connection. That’s the Jedi way, right? Strangle your Mom, whether that kills her in reality or not-”
“How is that the Jedi way?!” She elbowed me in the face and Force pushed me through the building!
“Hahaha~!” I pushed myself up off the stinky, slimy garbage and conjured up a red lightsaber to clash against the blue blade she was swinging down at me! She was really fucking strong! She pushed the blade into my left shoulder and burned the fuck out of my skin, but I kicked her in the twat and sent her flying into the metal wall!
“So much rage and anger. I’m pissed off too!” I rushed forward and almost got stabbed in the face. Parrying the blade to the left, she pulled back and slashed at me instead. Pushing my left hand forward, I released an arc of purple lightning that crackled everywhere!
“Fucking Jabba the Hutt!” The rage poured out of me and sent her flying through the molten metal wall!
“Did you just call me Jabba the Hutt?!” Eldra retorted as she got up off the hot sand and glared at me with bright yellow eyes surrounded by blood red!
“I’m talking about that fat slug bitch that bombarded one of my bases!” I pointed my blade over to the side where a hover yacht was passing by… Then a huge maw emerged from the sand, ripping the damn ship in half!
“Motherfucker thinks he’s untouchable?! If I was a real Sith, I’d kidnap his son, brainwash the brat, accelerate his growth and use him to replace his father!” I could feel my body transforming. Growing bigger, stronger, covered in thick carapace and muscle. I towered over the tiny Twi’lek girl and my back tentacles allowed me to feel weightless, even though I should weigh a fuckton with so much biomass compressed into such a small frame.
“What does that have to do with me?!” She retorted as her lightsaber turned red and mine turned purple! Our blades clashed again. She managed to push me back with all that fury!
“Exactly! Hahaha~!” I aimed my left wrist at her and fired off a plasma blast that she easily deflected back towards my face, but then I bounced it back with my lightsaber! She tried to hit it again, but it exploded the moment it touched her lightsaber. Because those blaster bubbles obviously aren’t able to last forever.
“Agh!” She groaned in pain as her face was burnt, “If it wasn’t for my obsession with you! I would have-”
“You would’ve still done some stupid bullshit that got yourself captured or killed.” I blocked her lightsaber with mine, pushing it to the right as I grabbed her throat with my left hand! She tried to knee me in the balls, but it just ended up hurting her kneecap.
“Get off me!” She released a Force blast against my chest but my hand was still wrapped around her throat even while my body was sent flying off into the distance! I tightened the muscles in my arm again and yanked her back to me.
“You wanna stop me from conquering the Galaxy?” I smirked, pushing her backwards into a cold and dark metal box. I looked around at the dozens of men and women who were sealed in carbonite. Then I turned to Eldra again, noticing that my hand was still around her neck, but her whole body was sealed away in carbonite.
“Well I want you to help me conquer the Galaxy.” I could see her eyes blazing bright red behind the cold metal, “Honestly, you’re supposed to be Jedi. At least try to keep your emotions under control.”
“You’re right;” Her voice echoed in my mind, “I need to calm down, but I’m afraid I’ll never wake up again. I’m afraid I will wake up again and what awaits me is more terrible than death.”
“Fear leads to the Dark Side.” I tapped on her silvery forehead, “But fear also keeps us alive. It keeps us from charging headfirst into obvious traps. It keeps us from standing still, because if you’re not ascending, then you’re gonna slide back on down into the abyss.”
“Amon…” Eldra hesitated for a while, but eventually said, “Please… Help me.”
“Well, since you asked nicely.” I ran my fingers down her neck and across her hard chest, “You know what they say about dreams though.”
“No.” She whispered as I moved my hand down to her abdomen, “Wait, what are you doing?”
“Saving you, obviously.” Even with her body encased in Carbonite, she wasn’t actually completely frozen solid. If she was, then her cells would explode and she would be dead now. She was in a type of cryo-stasis, but it didn’t mean that the Zerg parasites inside her gut were the same.
“Stop! I just want you to send my Master a message! Tell her where I am!”
“Eldra, you’re a Jedi. Stop acting like a whiny little Sith.” I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
“Amon, stop! I don’t know what you’re doing, but it’s definitely not the kind of help I wanted!” She screamed in the back of mind as I tried to concentrate.
Author’s Note: Decided to break this into two chapters because it was going on pretty long and I feel like there will definitely be people complaining about how it was ‘too difficult to follow’ or something. So for anyone who didn’t figure it out, this chapter was all a Force Vision/Meditation bullshit dream thing. While the next chapter is actually something that is happening in reality, physically.
