I climbed out of my knight, there was only an hour left before we left. I could sleep on the road. I saw some of the sve women eyeing me, even some of the men were shooting me thumbs up. As I got to the bottom, Chiyun nded beside me. She was strong and she was insanely fast. She had something primal about her and I wasn't ashamed to admit how good her body looked and felt, even if I was the bottom. I started the process of finishing with helping Hilda shut up shop. Then started having everyone pack up. I tapped Lei on the shoulder, nodding to my knight. I was going to get some sleep. I knew mattresses were going to be hard to find outside of town, so there were a few in each carriage, with some furs thrown over for durability. The fact we would have 9 knights with our caravan was going to draw attention. The girl with blue hair was sat in a carriage watching everyone move about. I approached her and decided to introduce myself.

  "Hey, how are you doing?"

  She turns to me and smiles.

  "I'm fine sir Conner. Just... everything is different compared to what I was prepared for. A mans pything. Likely the same man pnning to buy those half elf girls."

  I nod and sit beside her.

  "If you told me 3 months ago, I was going to be here surrounded by my sves, with magic and 3 beautiful lovers, rescuing elf sisters and a blue haired princess. I wouldn't believe you. Even if one of my women could rip my arms off with both hands behind her back."

  She chuckles.

  "So? my full name is Conner Rivers, what's yours?"

  "Emilia Hans Grethnam, pleasure to make your acquaintance."

  I flick my eyes to her hair.

  "Likewise. Story behind the hair colour?"

  She smiles.

  "My mother was a wanderer, her heritage gave her blue hair. I inherited that same trait, water spirit arts. My mother was killed. I was ensved, likely to become a womb for the Dukes son, to get around ws I was pced here to wait long enough for people to not notice."

  I cleared my throat.

  "You were not for the son."

  "The duke is heavily overweight and in his 60s... oh.."

  I nod and pat her shoulder.

  "You are safe now, you can choose who you wish to love all on your own. After getting the knights for the girls, I will include you in the talk. Get some rest princess."

  She smiles at me and I jump from the carriage. Emilia was a cute girl, if this was the cliché isekai of the season, she would likely have been my first sve waifu. Would have gone on adventures, fell in love and eventually other women would join. This wasn't an anime though, this was real. She was very lucky and sve traders here don't have a heart of gold, they are disgusting criminals who threaten, trick and swindle people into becoming sves. That man won't even remember who we are when he wakes up, which will get him into trouble when who ever's supposed to be picking her and the elf sisters up. I turn back to Emilia.

  "Want to pilot a knight on our way out? We were getting ready to assign them actually."

  She looks at me and nods.

  "I would like that."

  I smile and send a thumbs up to Sven, he looks at the blue haired girl and thumbs over to a blue knight. Looks like he was pnning on it all along. Well I had seen her on the table, she was good, no one managed to beat her, not even Sven. With everything packed up, and all the knights occupied we set off. Like I expected we drew attention. Thankfully, there weren't many people around. At the gate I saw the friends I made here. I jumped out and ran over, while we waited for the gates to open.

  "So, this be it huh?"

  I pat the knight mechanic on the arm.

  "You're gd to see the back of me, admit it. I won't keep showing up your boys."

  He chuckles and pats my arm back.

  "Ai, there is that, and you won't be stealing the eyes of every single woman in town and some married uns."

  I shake my head and switch to talking to Helen, the bar maid.

  "Thanks for everything Helen, you made my drinking nights with the idiot brigade enjoyable."

  She chuckles, then gives me a hug.

  "Don't be a stranger okay? Come back any time."

  I give her a gentle peck on the back of the hand.

  "Look after yourself Helen."

  She smiles and steps back as I say goodbye to the rest of the people I knew, I had to run to jump on a carriage. With that, this chapter of my life in a fantasy world was over. Now there was nothing except clear skies ahead.

  "Blleurrgh..."

  I was leaning against a tree as my stomach emptied.

  "It is better to stab them slowly in the eye, they die faster and it isn't as messy."

  Chiyun lectured from 10 foot away.

  "It went in my mouth... Bleeeurgh"

  After my comedy skit of how not to sy a goblin was over and I was cleaned up Chiyun continued to have me finish off kills she brought me. One of the lizard girls was doing the same, and the way she looked at me made me feel a certain way. Horny, she made me horny. She a had this way of moving that was hypnotic. She was also one of the severely crippled sves that I restored. She was the typical fantasy lizard woman, human with reptilian hands, tail and feet. All of my sves had clothes and armour. I was of course focusing on her beauty, just so I didn't throw up again from memories of killing goblins. I had been at this for 2 days now. Every time we stop, I am made to kill whatever monsters they find after the hunt is done.

  "Time out.. I'm done, I can't do anymore."

  "We have 2 more hours though?"

  The lizard girl nods along to Chiyuns compint.

  "I need to get some food into my belly or I am going to start being grumpy, and the smell is making me want to vomit, Lei can you be a sweetheart and burn the bodies?"

  She nods and as she walks passed me, she bumps me with her hip. I was starting to wonder if I had another skill that just attracted women to me. I never got this level of attention back home. I slump next to the fire where I'm handed a bowl of stew. I basically inhale it, which leads to another 5 bowls. My appetite was high before I came here, and after it only went higher. I entered the rge carriage, Hilda took my hand and made me rest my head on her p, which I had already transformed back into her true appearance. She really was beautiful, my first woman in over a decade. Now in her full natural state.

  "You are so beautiful Hilda."

  She smiles and strokes my face softly.

  "Such a smooth talker, as if you weren't balls deep in another woman before lunch."

  She froze, her eyes staring into mine with a subtle increase in intensity.

  "W-what?"

  "I love you."

  Her lips crash into my own, as somehow she is already on top of me, damn wild sheep genes. I knew I was supposed to be taking a quick break, before being back to goblin killing. I was definitely going to have nightmares again tonight. Unless I focused on this moment with Hilda.

  I had just gotten back from killing goblins, Mi was patting my back as I prepared the food for the stew.

  "It will be okay, Conner. Most people couldn't kill a monsters at all."

  She said trying to be upbeat. I was just trying not to remember the smell of goblins or their blood.

  I finished the marinade for the strips of a type of ox, Chiyun and the other hunters brought back. Then I hung them in a makeshift smoker, by morning they would be smoked, then putting them on a rack while we travelled would slowly turn them into Jerky.

  After our meal, we bonded for a bit and Sven made sure to arrange who was on watch. I volunteered for the knight duty for the first 4 hours, since I honestly wanted the practice.

  It was the first night I had done this, and was likely the second to st night I would have before I would be in my Knight every day during travelling. It would be lonely in there, I was getting used to having attention from my lovers, I hadn't had attention from women to this extent for years. I had gained a lot of weight, stopped looking after myself and moved back in with my parents after the break up. I was an introvert after that, I was faking it so hard right now. I just wanted to be loved and accepted. I didn't want to fuck this up, I am still baffled by how Hilda and Mi confessed to being the ones who told Chiyun to go get me if she wanted me. My hips still had trauma from that first time.

  I noticed the lizard woman who had been flirting with me the st few weeks, I was going to let her down today.

  "Master."

  I smile and pat the log beside my, she sat.

  "I need to talk to you actually."

  She nods with an apprehensive smile.

  "Why are you trying to seduce me? I can feel something off about it."

  She sighed and fidgets with her hands.

  "I saw how you are with my son, I.. I thought if you took me as a mate, you would keep looking after him."

  I sighed and leaned back against Leviathans shin pte.

  "You should only pick a man you like. Your son is a cool kid, I will continue to mentor him if you want. According to Hilda, your son will be a water mage as he grows up. I will give him advice as someone who uses a magic like skill, but Hilda will train him. She is a mage after all. Your son is part of our group, just like you. Find love, be happy. That is all I want for you."

  She smiles softly.

  "I.. I thank you, sorry for being so shameless."

  I shake my head, waving my hand dismissively.

  "No need to apologise, this world is harsh. You do what you need to. I got a good show, you are a beautiful woman, but I just don't feel the spark there. I am not outright refusing, but it would only happen with mutual attraction. Try to find love okay?"

  She nods and bows.

  "I promise, I will follow my heart master."

  I nod as she walks away, the swivel of her hips from our normal interactions was gone. Still had a wiggle, just not as pronounced. She sat with her son and started to talk with him, I hear a rustle as Mi sits beside me.

  "You sure you want to reject her Conner, I could smell you were attracted to her."

  I pull her into my p.

  "Attraction and lust are different from love. She doesn't find me attractive so much as security for her son. I also think she is hiding the truth of who her sons father is to her, just that look as she was telling me about his father."

  Mi pushed her head into the crook of my neck.

  "You are a great man you know.."

  I chuckle softly.

  "You can tell me all you want.. I just still struggle to see it."

  I hear her dainty giggle.

  "All great men do, so they just keep trying to be better. You always make me and mistress Hilda feel loved. I know you kept carried away and hyper focus, but you truly do it out of wanting to help."

  I sigh, I was hiding my true self from her and my other women. I just don't think my normal quiet slightly grumpy self would be what they wanted. I wanted to be better, I wanted to get back to my old self, before the trauma and heartbreak. I decided to get my head out of my ass, my mind off of the porn twisted fantasies and do better. I went through my phone and deleted the massive folders of porn. I honestly didn't need it anymore and it was a change I wanted to make. I felt lighter after that, I could also tell a difference in mindset, I stopped seeing the women the way I had.   "I'm going to get to bed, see you ter?"

  I look at Sven, who was approaching to talk with me.

  I chuckle and pat Leviathan.

  "I need to get used to her, I just feel like.. I can't focus on healing. I would rather protect people. Prevent the harm in the first pce you know?."

  He smiles, I didn't know his thoughts. However I got the feeling that if I did, I would learn something important.

  "As you wish my lord."

  I nod and we sit and have a drink, it was just fruit juice. No booze on the road. Sven was a drill sergeant, making sure everything ran smoothly. I was looking forward to arriving at Happy Valley, I was craving a nice, cold beer.

  "Shosner!"

  I hear a slurred shout as I was tackled from... wait, I was in my cart! I look down to see white blonde hair and caramel ears.

  "Hey Nura."

  She was staring into my eyes with adoration, a piece of beef jerky sticking out of her mouth.

  'Cute..'

  "Shonsner, whai yuse -"

  I put my finger on her lip, then started to pull the jerky from her mouth. She had quickly bit off what was between her teeth and looked at me like I betrayed her.

  "Swallow, speak then you can have the rest back."

  She chewed and she looked to be savouring each chew. Eventually she swallowed.

  "How are you so good at cooking?"

  I smile and plop the jerky into her mouth.

  "Well as long as you don't go bbbing, I'm a wanderer. I learned to cook young, my mum was a chef and my dad was a butcher. I also liked to watch videos on the internet, so I learned a lot of recipes that way."

  She quirked her head, I quickly pulled out my phone. I was so happy I could keep restoring it to full charge with my skill. I scroll through the almost 1TB of stored videos. My phone was a survival tool.

  "Listen to these."

  ....

  I was in a surreal situation, I was sat on a log, Mi on my p, as I pyed videos on my phone, that I not so legally ripped from a popur streaming ptform. That was how it started, but apparently the hearing of Chiyun and the other beastfolk women was too good, now I not only had the women who were for better or worse my harem, but most of the female sves surrounding me. Trying to gleam as much knowledge and skill from the videos as possible.

  After the trial of the housewives, I was lying in bed, I had Mi and Hilda to my right and Chiyun to my left. It was a bit tight, but the closeness was comforting.
