A person standing next to him said, "Hey, why are you so surprised?"
"Yeah, but why is no one here?" the roommate asked.
"Classes aren’t over yet," the person replied. He then showed him all the rooms—but avoided showing one locked room.
The roommate noticed and asked, "What’s that room?"
"I don’t know. I’ve never seen it open. Maybe it’s just a storeroom
The roommate nodded, and the person said, "That’s it for today."
"That’s all? When do we actually start working?" the roommate asked.
"We can’t work whenever we want. They’ll call us when they need us. Now go."
The roommate looked once more at the locked room before leaving.
Back in their dorm room, Yaraa told his roommate about meeting Tara and the planned outing.
"One more thing," Yaraa said. "You’re in the third group now, right?"
The roommate nodded.
"I need some information—about Kathir’s background and who attacked him."
"Kathir? Who the hell is that?"
"The guy who dropped me off yesterday—remember?"

"Oh, that guy. Okay, I can’t do that now, but I’ll tell you when I do."
Yaraa nodded.
The Next Day
Yaraa and his roommate headed to the café, where Thara was already waiting. When the roommate saw her, he froze. Yaraa noticed and nudged him.
They sat opposite Thara, and the roommate kept staring at her. Thara raised an eyebrow and said, "So, this is your friend?"
Yaraa nodded.
Thara looked at the roommate and asked, "What’s your name? And why the hell did you want to meet me?"
But the roommate didn’t answer—he was just gazing at her. Yaraa said, "His name is *****."
Yaraa then asked her, "Why did you asked us to come here, anyway?"
Thara replied, "Because told me to come today. But you didn’t mention the place, so I called you here."
Yaraa nodded. "Alright then, let’s go somewhere else."
Thara thought for a moment, then agreed. But the roommate didn’t get up. Yaraa called him again, but he didn’t respond. He just kept staring at Thara.
Then Thara called out, “Hello?”
Suddenly, the roommate blurted out, "I love you."
Yaraa was shocked and immediately slapped him. The roommate snapped out of it, picked up a flowerpot nearby, and proposed again.
Thara said, "Sorry, fucker. I already have a boyfriend."
Yaraa sighed. "Hey, why do you only use bad words with ?"
He looked at the roommate, who was lost in his own fantasy—imagining that Thara had accepted his proposal, that they were dating, got married, had two kids, and she was about to kiss him…
Then, someone slapped him again. Back to reality.
Yaraa shouted, "What the hell is wrong with you, *****?!"
The roommate blinked. "Oh, she has a boyfriend. I already knew that. So what?"
Yaraa looked at him in shock—he’d never seen this side of his roommate before.
Thara replied, "You may know I have a boyfriend, but do you know who he is? If he finds out you proposed to me, do you know what will happen to you?"
The roommate smiled and said, "I know exactly who he is. Go ahead, tell him. He won’t do anything. You know he still doesn’t fully trust you—so it won’t be a problem for me."
Thara got angry and looked at Yaraa.
Yaraa quickly stepped in. "Okay, guys, chill. *****—she has a boyfriend, so don’t do this again."
The roommate replied, "Not for a while."
"Alright, shall we go now?" Yaraa asked.
"Go where?" Thara asked.
Before Yaraa could answer, the roommate said, "The beach."
"The beach? Why?" she questioned.
Yaraa said, "I’ll tell you when we get there, okay?"
She agreed, and the three of them left in Thara’s car.
But unknown to them, some persons were following.
