As Julia rode through the familiar, glowing streets of Tizab, she felt a strange sensation at the edge of her awareness. The device strapped to her wrist was pulsating gently, emitting a weak light that seemed to connect her to the dreams of her past. She still didn’t understand that the revelations she had unknowingly initiated were far from over. All she could think about was how late it was and that she needed to deliver the food, but destiny had woven a path through the ordinary and the extraordinary.
That night, as she wove through the crowd, an eerie silence enveloped the streets. Julia looked around, sensing she was not alone. Suddenly, a woman in a silver cloak emerged from the shadows, her radiant eyes filled with urgency.
“Julia,” she said, her voice soft yet commanding. “You have chosen your path, but this is not the destination you seek.”
Julia felt bewildered. “Who are you?”
“I am Elisia, a guardian of the ancient ways,” the woman replied, glancing over her shoulder as if to shake off an unseen hunter. “The device you wear is connected to the very core of Tizab. It holds a power within that you have yet to comprehend. You have awakened it.”
Julia's heart raced. She recalled the frantic escapes she had made. “I don’t want any part of this! All I want is a simple life…”
“Simplicity is an illusion,” Elisia interjected harshly. “The city is caught in a war, in the grip of forces seeking to control you for their own ends. You are the key to restoring balance—whether you want to be or not.”

Before Julia could respond, shadows surged toward them with alarming speed. Fear rippled through her as she instinctively tightened her grip on the handles of her bicycle.
Elisia raised her hands, and suddenly the air filled with energy. With a flick of her wrist, a radiant portal appeared behind her. “You must come with me to unlock your abilities. If you stay here, they will seize you!”
Julia hesitated, her heart torn between what she knew of her life and the uncertainty that lay ahead. But looking back at her past and toward the approaching danger, her decision became clear. She couldn’t return to her mundane life—not after everything that had happened.
“Okay,” she said, “but I don’t understand—”
“There’s no time for questions! Trust the device; it knows more than you do,” Elisia insisted, her tone leaving no room for debate.
With a deep breath, Julia propelled herself toward the portal. The moment she entered the void, she felt her world dissolve into a storm of light and color. In that moment, the soldiers chasing her were left in a daze, unable to comprehend that Julia had vanished before their eyes.
Once Julia emerged into the grand and magnificent library, she was overwhelmed by awe at the sight. The shimmering books seemed to spiral toward infinity, enchanting her. She felt exhausted, her body yearning to rest, and she could bear it no longer. As fatigue overtook her, she stepped out of the portal and into the library.
But the soldiers, quick in their pursuit, soon realized she was there and began searching for her. Julia felt the tightening noose of time—she had to act fast.
Meanwhile, Elisia raised her hands high, and with a swift movement, a pulse of light radiated around Julia. The brilliant light formed a barrier protecting them, preventing the dark forces from advancing. The shadows hesitated, recoiling in confusion.
“Now! You must learn to harness your power!” Elisia urged her.
Julia felt an unknown strength awaken within her, and with a determined focus, she gazed forward, ready to confront her destiny.
