  Welcome to I am a Table. This story won’t be like most other isekai or litRPG you’ve come across, for better or worse. It starts off simply as a joke, to see how far I can drive a story forward with nothing more than sheer ridiculousness. Many people love this story for that, but there’s a side effect. This is a polarizing story, and I know that. Some have said that there is absolutely no plot or development and everything is purely humor, at least after the first 10 or 15 chapters. The MC also starts out with little agency, but he will slowly gain control of his functions. I am going to try and add some elements to solidify the world-building once I come back to it.

  With that said, this book has become an exercise of how far I can push a story with sheer absurdity WHILE maintaining a modicum of logic. I’ve crafted a magic system that I can be proud to say that can validify most of the random weirdness and explain the origin of sentient furniture, fleshed out the political tension between the various factions, and created a grand plot which revolves around realms going BOOM BOOM. By the 30~50th chapter, these things will start to kick in more, so if that’s more your thing, hopefully you stick around before then.
