Roy was wandering around the cherry forest, encountering a cyclops who was doing martial arts, covered in sweat.
“Hono!” Roy called out and Hono didn't answer. “HON-”
The ground trembled and rose into a block of wall. Roy couldn't comprehend what happened just now as he was standing there with his eyes wide.
“Whoa!” Roy thought.
Hono noticed Roy and then signaled him to come over. After that, Hono used his telekinesis on Roy.
“Follow my steps, kid.” Hono used telekenesis in order to communicate with Roy.
“Why?”
Hono touched Roy's arm, squeezing them, making Roy wince.
“Hey!”
Hono made a thumbs-down gesture, meaning Roy's muscles were weak.
“So what? I'm not a muscle freak like you!” Roy proclaimed his state but Hono flicked his forehead. “GAH!”
Then, he went for a low kick. However, Roy managed to evade his swift kick after hopping at the right moment.
“Hey! What’s the deal man?!”
Hono wondered if it was a coincidence or not. He smirked and took a stance.
“Boy, you're in for a treat~”
Roy's face shrunken in fear.

Outside the dungeon, Roy finally woke up and saw the slime on top of his body, staring carefully at him. Roy jerked up, making the slime fall on the ground. Roy's headache after the sudden movement. Seconds passed and Roy searched the area, realizing he was outside the dungeon, resting beneath the tree leaves.
“Ya good?” the slime asked.
“Did you bring me all the way here?”
The slime nodded.
“Is this thing for real?!”
They were on the fifth floor beneath the surface earlier.
“... What are you?”
“Pot.”
“Riiiiight… Hm?”
Roy noticed an amulet on top of Pot's head. He grabbed the amulet and saw a symbol of a feather.
Suddenly, someone familiar to Roy flashed before his eyes. He clenched his fist and dropped the amulet.
Roy got up and kicked the tree before walking away. However, Pot followed him.

“Can I call you grumpy?”
Roy turned around, kicking Pot too.
“WEEEEeeeeeeee...” Pot flew from afar.
Roy proceeded to walk. He would encounter random creatures in front of him and would flee. Rather than fighting it head-on. Meanwhile, the sun began to fall and Roy was still far away from Aegis Town. Thus, he reached out inside his sack, taking a Presence Remover Potion and a Pyro Potion. He drank the Presence Remover, lasting for ten hours, while the Flame was placed on the ground as the light source. And lastly, a blanket.
The preparation was complete. Soon night rose. Crawlers were awakened from their slumber, ascending to the ground. Whenever they see a light, they instantly go away.
Suddenly, something rustled from the bush. Roy glanced and a tall figure was standing. It looked like it was staring at him but it was too dark for Roy to see its appearance. Till it showed up and it was a Stickybug. A stick bug with a height of eight feet and a sticky body to the point where a person could be stuck after touching it.
Roy was creeped out and ignored it, though he couldn't.
[THE NEXT DAY]
Roy finally reached Aegis Town. As he walked past the caster, he was scared off in the dungeon.
“I’m telling you! Killing it is worth it!” Tarph explained.
“Hey, Gof! Do something to this bozo will ya?!” the girl replied.
Tarph leaned close to Gof and whispered, “Gof, I think we made a mistake…”
The girl kicked Tarph's back and Roy simply ignored them.
Meanwhile, at the alley, Roy checked his surroundings first before knocking on the brick wall with the sound of a door. A hallucination door.
Someone peeked at the door. “Oh, hey there!”
It was a woman with goggles on top of her crimson messy hair.
“Come in! Come in!”
Inside, Roy was welcomed and asked why he had come.
“So?” asked the woman as she placed her elbow on the table near the cash machine.
“The Usual…”
She sighed and said, “Out already?”
“Yeah.”
“Wait here.” she left the counter and headed to the back, then she shouted, “I told you! You should've bought the ones with better qualities!”
Roy rolled his eyes.
While she was away, Roy took a seat at the nearby chair, still regretting letting his guard down earlier.
Especially the amulet.
*KNOCK KNOCK!!*
The woman hadn't come back yet, so Roy answered it and took a peek. Once he checked the person outside, the person flinched and asked-
“Who are you?” the man asked before gasping and assuming, “Wait, are you perhaps Walt's brother?”
Roy shook his head. He wasn't expecting someone to know this place, but since it happened. Roy let him in afterward.
“Where is she by the way?” The man sat on a chair where Roy was seated earlier.
“At the back…” Roy sought for another chair and sat.
“Oh! Is that her new pet?” the man said before wondering, “Wait, what the heck is that?”
Roy turned his head back and saw Pot eating tapay.
Pot spotted Roy and exclaimed, “Grumpy!”
The boys flinched, especially the man, shocked to see a talking creature. The slime ambled toward Roy and sat on his lap.
“How’d you do that?!” the man asked in surprise.
Roy shrugged and brushed the slime away with his arm.
“Whew~ I'm back!” Walt then saw the slime. “THE HECK IS THAT THING?!”
“Hello~” Pot greeted them.
“Roy, is that yours!?”
Pot kept hugging Roy's legs.
“I don't even know where this little freak came from!”
“I thought that was your pet, Walt?”
“No, it's not- Hm?!“ She noticed the other customer and dashed toward him as she punched his shoulder slightly before stopping.
“Ace! My man! It’s been months since you last stopped by!”
“Yup, it sure is,” Ace chuckled.
“So, did you make it?”
Ace gestured a thumbs down.
“Oh...”
“Yeeeeah, and also…” Ace reached into his pocket and placed it on the table.
“A dust?”
“...”
“Hold up, don't tell me-”
“My staff.”
Walt's eyes widened. “My god! How much mana did he release?!“
“Can you fix it?”
“I can but, base-”
“Ahem!”
They looked at Roy, tapping his foot with his arms crossed, waiting for his order.
“Ya done?”
“Oh, right.”
Walt handed the scrolls to Roy. Which contained Clone, TP, and Invisibility.
Scrolls were created by Wizards using their magic.
“Thanks,” Roy grabbed the scrolls and walked toward the exit.
“Bye!”
They left and heard Roy screaming to Pot to go away.
“Walt, you know him?”
“Why? Jealous~?” Walt smug.
“No.”
“Tch!”
Ace kept staring at the entrance and wondered. “Is he a Chromolist?”
Walt smacked her hand on the table, “Alright… So, based on your staff's condition, it'll take a year to finish it.”
Ace went pale, “You’re joking, right!?”
Walt arched a brow, “Ya think?”
Ace knelt on the ground, mumbling his negative thoughts.
“Hey, cheer up. I know the staff means a lot to you, but there's still a way, y'know.”
“Like what?”
Walt made a finger cash sign.
“How much?”
“Thousand Grat~”
Ace got struck by an arrow in the heart as he could not afford that kind of money.
“I guess this is the end of my path,” Ace was on his knees.
Walt felt bad for him and scratched her head. “If you want a decent price, I…” She didn't want to continue her sentence, but it was for Ace, so. “I can make you one.”
Ace got stabbed. “T-That’s way worse… A custom staff is more expensive.”
“What? Custom ones are not expensive.” Walt said. “It depends on the materials.”
“Oh…” Ace was dumbfounded. “Then!”
Ace took out a small note.
“Tell me what I need!”
Walt twitched a bit and thought, “Really? No thanks or hugs???”
Walt explained the details and Ace kept writing them down.

“Stop following me!” Roy strangled Pot with his bare hands.
Pot slipped away and exclaimed, “I want tapay!”
“This little sh-”
“KID!!”
Roy and the slime turned around. It was none other than Ace. After searching for Roy, Ace was panting, taking his time to breathe.
“Whew!” Ace coughed a bit and proceeded. “Ahem! Would you like to form an alliance with m-”
“Pass.”
Ace knelt on the ground and begged for him to join to get the materials he needed. Other civilians were whispering about them, forcing Roy to agree.
