This chapter is written with the purpose of providing preliminary knowledge about Necromaniva. The events, characters, and locations introduced here will be explored in much greater detail throughout the following chapters.
Necromaniva is a world shaped by countless races and their struggle for survival. But today’s story is not about the people. It is about Necromaniva itself.
At the heart of this universe lies a mysterious and complex construct known as the Ring — a colossal entity responsible for sustaining the central realms that the races are bound to.Every realm is connected to the Ring by two chains of essence:One chain delivers life. The other brings death.
The sole purpose of the Ring is to maintain the cosmic balance—by redistributing the essence of life and death it receives, to all worlds in a delicate cycle of continuity.
Time does not exist for the Ring. And if the Ring were to cease to exist, so too would Necromaniva. That is why it remains the most vital construct in all of existence.
There are four primary races within Necromaniva: Hubran, Loban, Newan, and Humans.Hubran and Loban are considered lower-tier evolutions or offshoots of humanity, though they differ greatly in form and nature. Each race possesses its own separate universe, existing independently within the greater structure.
Interracial travel is rare and only possible through specific locations, weapons, or powerful forms of magic.
The Lobans are a race capable of manipulating magic with exceptional precision and understanding every aspect of nature. They are divided into two distinct subraces based on appearance and elemental connection:
-
Atel (black-skinned): aligned with nature's peaceful harmony.
-
Sate (pale-skinned): bound to nature's chaotic and unpredictable side.
Despite their differences, Atel and Sate do not interfere with each other unless absolutely necessary.Yet, both share an unshakable truth: they would die for their universe without hesitation.
Lobans possess a mystical ability — to create white flame using their souls. This power works only within their own realm, where their soul essence regenerates.Outside their universe, it drains their life force and may lead to death.
The Hubrans are taller, more muscular, and physically dominant compared to humans. With access to Aphorium, a rare mineral, their technology is far superior.
Their raw strength places them at the top in terms of warfare. They live under a militaristic kingdom ruled by elite soldiers.Peace or war — Hubrans always train.

Mutated Hubrans may take on beast-like forms, losing the ability to speak and becoming pure predators. This transformation is considered their greatest fear.
The Newans are the only race born with the birth of time itself. While the others evolved, Newans simply were — timeless and ancient.
Their bodies contain pure essence, a refined soul energy that mutates their skin into a durable, lethal material. They can shape their skin into weapons or shields, but the effort causes extreme exhaustion, limiting use to life-or-death situations.
They also carry an obsession with human blood, which in their realm resembles water. This triggers an uncontrollable hunger.A hungry Newan is at its most lethal.
Compared to other races, humans are a mixed and unpredictable species. They learn fast, adapt quickly, and are intelligent — yet fragile... and dangerous.
Their greatest weakness? Themselves. In the name of peace and freedom, they wage war on each other. And unless their entire species is threatened, humanity never unites.
Each universe is composed of three distinct layers:
-
First Layer — The realm of active life and existence.
-
Second Layer — Includes alternate versions, fallen worlds, and newborn realms.
-
Third Layer — A central sphere where essence flows through nerve-like threads, linking realms to the Ring.
Each race's universe follows this layered structure and remains connected to the Ring through these vital conduits.
The Academy was founded by the human king after the First Interracial War, following humanity's crushing defeat. When the Second War nearly consumed all races, humanity offered peace.
The Academy became a neutral ground, where politics replaced bloodshed. After the death of the High King, it lost funding and enclosed itself within towering white spires, becoming a fortress of education.
The Academy spans 65% of the mainland and could be called a continent of its own.Even so, it is merely an island compared to the larger continents.
Inside, the Academy offers teachings in:
Warfare
Biology
Cosmic science
Magic
And more...
There are three ways to enter:
Pay a pouch of gold
Be of noble or royal blood
Defeat an instructor in a shoulder-grappling match
Once accepted, the ancient walls recognize you. They will open. Always.
The Hunters, an elite force trained by the Academy, are its backbone and pride.
They target enemies through complete analysis — physically and psychologically. They exploit every weakness using body language, patterns, and behavior.
They possess superhuman speed and strength, wield many weapons at master level, and adopt an elemental affinity to reach peak efficiency.
A Hunter does not hesitate. A Hunter does not feel.Hesitation is death. Emotion is ruin.
