[Regeneration] (Duration: nine minutes and fifty-six seconds)
Only four seconds have passed during their clash. As the saying goes, a split second determines the victor and the loser in the battle of experts. Tempest and the cloaked man were exchanging blows in quick succession rapidly, each of them brandishing their respective weapons, both parties were looking for an opening to exploit. Gradually, Tempest's virtual body had been honed in this battle and his battle instincts were aroused in this fight, unburying his fighting spirit that had long been burried by the years that have passed.
Then suddenly, the cloaked man backed off from their high intensity battle. If there were spectators, they would be shocked. The surrounding area had been laid waste, beyond recognizable, wood fragments were everywhere as trees littred the ground everywhere as far as the eye can see but by all means, the cloaked man's cabin remained intact. 'Why did he back away?' Tempest pondered as he looked at the cloaked man, his guard still up but his body had greatly loosened. He was now used with the battle style of this mysterious cloaked man that he could even predict his next attack with his eyes closed.
It was perfect timing, ten minutes was up and the status effect [Regeneration] have disappeared from Tempest's panel, of course he won't know if he doesn't open it.

Series of panels appeared one after another, Tempest glanced at these for a moment and a bit longer on the quest rewards. He was suprised at the information given by the system. 'That guy is sealed?' Tempest looked at the cloaked man in a different light now. "Hey, what's your name? I can't just keep calling you kid you know?" The cloaked man said as he placed his massive war axe behind him, it then slowly dematerialized until it disappeared like ash. Seeing this Tempest sheated his twin swords back to their scabbard, lowering his guard a little. "Tempest" Tempest replied as he wearily looked at the cloaked man.

"Tempest, huh?" The cloaked man raised his head as he pondered something. "I heard you otherworlders have real names, is that correct?" Tempest's eyes widened at his words, suprised and shocked at the same time. "It seems i'm correct" the cloaked man grinned, he was looking at Tempest's baffled expression. 'Npc's calls us otherworlders?!'. The cloaked man disappeared and appeared before Tempest, three feet apart. "Come, let us talk inside my house. I will serve you tea." The cloaked man said as he slowly walked towards his cabin. Tempest took a step back as a shocked expression was evident on his face, 'Teleportation?!'. Tempest followed behind.
"Oh, how rude of me. My name is Edric" Edric said as he opened the door of his cabin and entered, leaving it open for Tempest. A panel appeared before Tempest as he walked Inside Edric's house.
[Edric - Sealed] (Legendary)
Level: ???
Tier: 7
Edric, one of the great deities. He sealed himself to control his thirst for battle.
Encountering him is like stumbling upon a treasure trove or stepping right into a natural disaster.
Tempest dismissed the panel as soon as he read his level and tier, not reading his biography. "I originally wanted to ask you where the carriages are located but I changed my mind" Edric said as he prepared the tea, Tempest listened as he took a seat in the circle dining table, he marvelled at the humble design. It was comforting and approachable at the same time just like how he felt before their duel began. "Here" Edric placed the hot tea in front of Tempest at the table as he sat at the opposite end of him, he was also holding a tea. A panel then appeared before him:
[Dew Lotus] (Tea)
Heals all injuries and expels impurities from the body five hours after being consumed.
'Impurities?' Tempest pondered as he looked at the tea right after reading the panel that appeared, it slowly then faded. He then took a sip, a soothing sensation coursed throughout his body and a comfortable feeling in his throat like milk and honey. Tempest's eyes widened at the taste of the tea. "Good right?" Edric looked at him smiling as he continued drinking the tea.
Meanwhile...
Back to 15 minutes ago.
"Hahaha!" His sister burst out laughing, pointing at him before darting out and slamming the door shut. This was Zane's sister, a musician and also a martial artist. You wonder, what's the background of their family? I'm not telling you of course. Monika, yes that's her name, she was running in the hallway, running away from her brother of course. While she was running away, servants in the hallway politely bowed to her, she then arrived in front of her room, the door closed. Monika entered and sat down on her working desk at the right side of her room.
She grabbed a paper and a pen, Monika then started writing a letter, her penmanship like flowing water. 'Dear Father and Mother...' She continued and 'Older brother has played...' She added another paragraph 'The both of us are now dropped out students...' And another one 'Its not like school matters to us anymore. Attending school is like putting a cherry on top of a cake...' She stopped for a moment and thought about what sentence to write next. "Aha!" Monika continued writing, '...a cake we've already eaten...' She then added another paragraph 'Don't bother to send us another instructor to learn a skill again...' She continued 'Love, Monika'.
She then folded the paper and placed it inside a envelope. Monika called a servant to her room and the servant arrived a couple of moments after. She told the servant to deliver the letter to their parents and the servant complied. Monika stretched her arms and said "Knowing brother, he would be an independent player and a certain chance to choose [Tempest River] as his player name" she added "oh well, one way to find out!" She jerked up from her chair and jumped onto her bed and grabbed the VR helmet and slid it on, the helmet then automatically turned on.
Welcome back [Mist Rose]
Monika or should I say Mist opened her eyes and found herself standing whithin a grand kingdom: The Lunar-Stone Kingdom. "I am back from where I've left off" Mist looked around and breathed the fresh air.
Back to Tempest.
