MINT MT CHAPTER 3 -A

  So the boys worked on the book and. asked the old dwarfs a couple questions, but other than that, it was kind of simple. One of the things that wasn't in the book and the old guys added was the 1st dwarves. All had the same hair colour. It wasn't until the different families started to mix and mingle and even some elves mixed and mingled into the hair colours all started changing to what they have now. It started off brown, blonde and red And the funny thing is that came up the next morning when each of those colours came out of the boys. They all knew that they hadn't told anybody, and they just hadn't ever let it get long enough. But King 1 had blonde hair. King 2 had red hair, but kind of a dark red and King 3 little guy had the curliest light brown hair you've ever seen. on top of his head and his face.

  This was kind of a shock. Kind of wasn't a shock, kind of through a monkey wrench into everything, because when the two little ladies came back and inspected. the three kings. the two ladies looked at the three older dwarfs and said did you know?

  The old dwarves just looked at the two older ladies and just said we had suspicions?

  It took a couple of minutes but the two little ladies knew that this was 75% of the puzzle and they were kind of just working out in their heads and it wasn't until one of the old dwarves said we don't even know who married into the clan of fire and coal and that was it right there someone had married in but the only way to have those hair colours from the clan of fire and coal which were black and red was to have a light-haired blonde there was only two clans and they were both here by coincidence because the third clan wasn't a clan it was the king's clan the Dwarven Kings themselves all three of their clans the clan of glass the clan of harmonics and the clan of the king the first king of the dwarven people these were the sitting bodies for the dwarven rulers so one of the rulers members had married in 2 the Klan

  so the question was was there anybody from those two clans missing from back in the day now this came across not insensitive but the kids were right there and they were being talked over they weren't upset but they weren't impressed they were realizing faster than the adults were that their mom or dad probably mum was from a different clan and might still be alive somewhere they always hope that they never really put any stock into it because while she abandoned them

  While the little old ladies popped her head out the door and made a whistle and within about a minute two very short but very skinny dwarves in runners clothes and leathers ran up to the door where they took her words wrote him down and ran away

  The crazier of the two little old ladies then turned on the boys and started to prod and poke them.

  The more strict and more terrifying of the two little ladies then came and stood directly in front of the three boys and asked if they read the book and if they understood it

  They not being very military or anything like that just stood there and looked at her and went yes ma'am and the old dwarves had told the boys the night before when they asked us just answer honestly and just they'll teach you and the boys understood that so showing no respect they answered any of the questions both of the ladies started asking

  For the next couple of hours they ran the boys through the history of the dwarves and where the old guys had left out pieces the little old ladies basically would tag team the boys one would start speaking and then the other one would finish off her sentence but if it was to be something intelligent and logical the one that was dressed like a proper business lady for a door would talk but when it would go off the rails about magic or about the wars or about hate or anything emotional the other one would take over and they were almost talking as 1 between 3 people at the same time it was impressive and insane but they were answering the questions almost as fast as the boys could ask them and by the time the day was done they had been given information to talk with the old guys about explaining how some of the clans had been unclanned and they had gotten to that point to teach the children of how they could lose their clown so they have been explained to history and more or less they basically had over 10,000 years where they were fighting for most of it but the last 3000 years the three different races came together and took over the entire landmass and had been trying to get to the other landmasses but do the mass amounts of monsters and the thing is in the air and magic it wasn't as easy as just making a boat and going for a sale

  Also about the last two to 400 years of decrease of magic due to the lack of magic glass so this was the dawn of a new golden age

  They had already started shipping out tons of managlass boxed up and wrapped in for shipping there was such large groups going that the 1 or 2 times that bandits tried anything they weren't killed they were press ganged into helping them there was enough people there to have every single one of the bad guys kept an eye on 24/7 by four people there was a very large amount of people going from town to town with magic crystals from either selling them to installing them to repairing them to getting machines that people didn't even realize were machines like fountains and different things in all the different towns around turn back on

  The rejects had not just been initiated back into the fold with the new clan they were given a task to teach the next generation for mechanical chemical kaboom and booze then you need to pass on their twenty people's knowledge to 20,000 so that's what they did they got called into a lot of jobs but mostly what they did is they stayed in one or two buildings teaching everybody and as things came up things were brought to them if it was a big deal they were brought to it so that didn't happen much but when it was time to move out there was enough tehc’s And taught how to recognize ancient machines that were dead of power how did you the basic maintenance make sure that they work and explode when you turn them on and then how to change out the crystals

  It was during this time that the harmonics clan had also been teaching the same text how to tune the crystals and now this sounds weird but it was a real thing if you use magic on them you would destroy the crystals and they'd be useless but if you use tuning forks and actual vocal harmonics and tuned the actual pieces of glass what would happen is they would shatter but they would shatter in a certain patterns where the shards that would come out would be proper crystal shards that would resonate with natural crystals harmonics so this little bit of crystal would be a 10th of the size but it would work a 1000 times better it wouldn't overheat and it would just work better there wasn't so many flaws so you could take a very small piece of crystal and replace it in a big machine yes you would have to replace it more often because it would just run out of juice but replacing it once a year versus once every 10 years yeah yeah it's more often but when you get a 100 years out of the same crystal it's more of A you don't have to worry about the batteries anymore you just have to make sure the machines don't drain them so the machines became streamlined even

  While the kids were getting trained every day by the old dwarves and the older ladies the groups that were going town to town found a couple of very very cool things so the rules were if you find something record it everything how you found it to hold on yards and then what you did you are to stay in that town until you have the ability to copy that machine and then you are to send a group of people back with that report that report is going to be taken directly into the horde score and there's going to be a school built on top that will use that information to teach next generations of texts and Wizards and magic users how to build the great machine and they were deciding well the kids had made a joke and the kind of snowballed into the first of many declarations that people just kind of said yes we're just going to do that

  They asked why couldn't they just made all the machines that they found in the world inside the the caves and just have it so everybody could come use machines when they need it which means that the family could stay together but that means that they would get to see all the machines from around the world and they didn't have to leave their home and they kind of like that idea of having all the good things brought to them because while they found their home they didn't want to leave and that's what everybody took away that the kids are happy to be home

  Some of the dwarfs would cry daily remembering that that was the driving Motivation and emotion that ran a large amount of them so every morning they got up and they remembered and they smiled and they had one tear come down they said let's get to work and they worked on their home at their family and that's the whole idea was

  So you got to realize that there's enough people that as you see two or three of your friends crying in the morning you ask what's going on and it gets around that there's more than 1 person not upset but motivationally emotionally driven for certain things those people get put on groups together after a while they become very good friends so when enough people think about a project things that you normally wouldn't even worry about or think about one or two people might go hey what about this this and this and they go huh maybe we should set up a place inside the mountain already so when it comes back all the information we could store it and then another place where we can have minerals because we're buying anything we want with all the money that we're getting for all the glass that they're shipping out so they're ascending back with almost every piece of glass a ton of materials back to the mountain that they don't have from anything they can buy like they have almost unlimited money because everybody wants glass and if they can give match class to everybody then everybody gets to be magical again and while they're here to turn it all back on

  Now some of the very cool things that they found were old books and other manuscripts they would find in different bazaars and other town markets and it was a thing to see because as the caravan came into town they basically had figured out what to say so as the first people walked through the town with the giant crowd and carts and beasts outside the gates of each town not even having the room to come into town the people that came in were criers they would literally shout out what was going on and they just would shout out that we're here to pretty much give away manic last not for free but the Kings and Queens of your land have already bought it all so we just needed to know who needed it but in return for that we are here to buy most of your goods and they would literally have a person go and stand in the middle of town square with a writ to show every single merchant that thought this was fake though this is real signed by all three of the races everything that these people want is paid for by the Kings and Queens if it's not by 1 it's by the other two groups

  What that did was some of the people had inherited things from the grandparents and parents and that weren't around anymore and they were like books that were magical they knew they were that's what was told to them in Wills and knowledge passed on but they couldn't get them open it was the first one of these books that was brought to the town square of the 2nd town that went into that started the Great I want to call the revolt but it wasn't negative it was an absolute **** show that started because as this little boy brought up and he must have been only about 9 or 10 and he was a human and he had this book and it was written in Elvish and he was skinny and tall for his age so when we saw the book with the Elvish on it and they went hole on a second and they called over one of the guys that actually was a tutor and could pick out different crystals and knew what they were used for and how to use it he pointed at the book and the guy looked out he goes hold on and he took a measuring tape and measured the little hole that was for crystal and he took out a tuning fork out of a pack of tiff and tuning forks and he found the right size and he went over to the bucket he hit it and he made a sound and then he picked up another 24 he went back and forth hitting the tuning forks on this book until he got the sound it is and he basically hummed it and when he hummed it it hummed right between the two tuning forks he goes ok i'll be right back and he went back to the caravan and when he came back in a box three little pieces he said these are the right tones but they're a little bit off size hopefully smaller than the whole but we can always glue it in if it works

  When the people saw what was happening they also overheard the conversation because they made it sure that they said this loud enough that everybody could hear and he talked directly to the young boy and he says we will give you this crystal free of charge under the condition whatever is in that book you allow us to make a copy of just so we can keep the information from getting lost we are collecting all lost knowledge and we are giving away managlass in return for that knowledge do you accept this

  The boy had tears in his eyes and just nodded his head at he yelled yes

  The old Tiber dwarf was super happy he just looked at the kid holding the bookies at Kabir and he opened up the little box but it had a cloth in it so he could put his hand in and he did and he said to the kid bring the box next to the the book here and they kind of put the cloth over top of it so he could play with the crystals under the cloth with the book and fit it without getting the light on it until he found the right one

  The dwarf took all three of them within seconds and then tried fitting them all and realized that it wasn't gonna work something wasn't right so he asked the kid if he could look at the book and he put all the crystals back in the box closed it and swapped the kid the box for the book and he started to smile and look down he said I'm sorry but I got to clean it first there's some debris left in here and the kid had cleaned it before he didn't realize but it was the old cursor was still stuck in there with old glue it just looked like a fancy ornament it didn't realize it was in the way

  So the dwarf taking out some tools that he always had in his pack worked on the book and he pride up this little dark crystal the moment he did the book didn't start glowing but a couple of the edges the different gold turned from gold to green gold and it was it was noticeable this book had been draining out through that crystal all this time so he said hold on a second and he went to go put the crystal in did you realize the whole was a little longer than he thought he took two different crystals that he had and he fitted in and they were bigger than the hole but they fit in the bottom of the hole so he just took some of the glue he had in the box that he had already prepped and he literally took his finger and he moved it around and then he moved it over top to put a little bit on top because he didn't need to have it perfect yet we could always clean it up and make it better after but they need to make sure they never moved

  They dwarfed then pulled it out into the light but he spit on it he said spit on the book and the kids like what are you doing he said spit on the book it'll make it hard

  As the older dwarf did it and the younger dwarf was like okay and he started spinning on his parents book he felt really **** **** and did not like this one bit he he was felt like he was harming their memory but then he looked up at the old dwarf who was smiling he said look at the book

  The crystal was covered in a white film like crazy glue and it wasn't going anywhere but the amount of light that was getting through was so much that it was almost overpowering the book because you could see veins of power greed gold black yellow starting to flow from the crystals like they were alive the book was charging up and it was charging up hard to the point where the book was actually getting a little warm

  The dwarf kinda smiled and just put the cloth on the top of the book but I guess the book didn't like that because right where the gem was it let that piece of cloth stay on there but the rest of the cloth actually was absorbed into the book so this nice black cloth now gave the books binding a nice black look to it at the cloth now had a piece attached over the gem that could be lifted and removed and it didn't move it lets you move it the wind wouldn't pick it up it was very magical and very cool

  Because the book had warmed up had changed the young dwarf had handed off to the old dwarf out of fear really quick just being a little freaked out and the older dwarf realizing that it had warmed up and it was now humming he realized it wasn't humming for him it was looking for its master its other half its person its something so we handed it back to the child and it started to talk

  My Dear Eric I love you and this is our family treasure you are our true treasure this will hopefully help you in the world one day is the Magic of one of the elf clads who came to our lands and fell in love with 1 of our people and that was your great grandmother you are dwarf and never ever Think that no one was loved and then this was done against her will we all love the people we stayed with and we all wish we could be with each other forever we hope that one day you could be there for your children and we hope that this book helps you love mum and dad

  And with that the books latched at never ever looked like it had any way to open literally just let go as a piece of cloth and when the book was opened it was wood magic but as the child was just looking at it the pages started to flicker to the very middle of the book and it started not Elvin but dwarven and it was a second book in the book the second part was written by his father passing on all the secret knowledge of the clan of Sulphur but the clan didn't have enough money to keep the Klan's name so it wasn't a name clan but it was still 1 that they earned the title at one point so they were legally royalty if they could just get the money together to turn on their name in the family heritages

  When the day of the clad was said out loud a shout came through the crowd through the cab because someone had shouted at it and someone related over and over till it made you the cap and someone came running shouting that there's another one of me out here

  This dwarf wasn't that old but he was barely as top speed and as people saw upcoming they just moved out of the way in a giant pathway to the young boy and he just had this craig laughing happy face and he just literally barreled into the kid and hugged him and fell to the ground on his knees holding this child going you're my clad we're the only ones left I can't believe I found another 1 for my clad hi

  The two of them were crying and everybody around them was shedding tears but what happened next was people started disappearing into their houses and bringing out these really old things that they didn't know what they were had they just got into a lie in front of the group of people that were around the child and as the line got four people noticed as they kind of figured out what was going on so the old dwarf and the 2D dwarf from the clan of harmonics started going through the items and finding coves that were magically powered by glass and other items and they lily at 1.1 guy just said hey I don't actually want this can I donate this or can I get something returned for this because you guys seem to want this more than I do it I don't need a comb?

  What some of the people in the town didn't know was that there was way too many people in Port Town it should have been called port city but they like keeping the name Port Town for now

  Some of the caravan were going to be permanently going on a giant caravan trip for the next couple years swapping up with people in different towns and making little outposts and some of these people get were going to stay so this gentleman a fine dwarf who inherited this comb from his mother and didn't seem to have a wedding ring on had this very cute female dwarf who actually was going to be staying in town come up to a lock her arms under his and said come on big sailor man buy me a drink let's talk I think I can make a deal for that comb

  The look she gave him when she said this did not allow him to give any guff if you will to this he was just like yes ma'am and they were not saying the same age but she was a little younger but she liked a little bit older guys and well at least you get to know the locals wink wink nudge nudge and get a drink or two out of it

  It wasn't until then that some of the people in the line realized that some of the men and women dwarves that were hanging around had come with a caravan were actually eyeing them up like pieces of meat realizing 0 geez what have we gotten ourselves into but as they went along the line dealing with this they came out in the end with multiple books of knowledge a couple of different items like a set of chopsticks that each took a crystal and they had no idea what they did it was donated to the group

  now there was so much horse trading going on here that it was made very clear that if they wanted stuff in return and they had stuff to sell they just brought it forward and they would be given crystal for it that crystal was worth so much that they would hopefully would pay for everything that they were bringing

  You got to remember this caravan started off with multiple wagons with multiple tons of cut and uncut crystal and at least one of those carts were set up so that they could do work in the darkish and actually carve crystals for whatever they needed on the fly

  But it wasn't until the last person in line a really old guy who literally just didn't come until the last 1 or 2 people had been the only people in line did anybody kind of look at him because he wasn't holding anything but his cane and his cane looked like a normal piece of wood except for the metal ball on top where his hand was so when they asked him what he had ?

  The old dwarf just motion for the younger dwarf who had asked to come down to his level and he whispered into the young dwarf's ear the following words which then made the dwarf stand up absolutely stock straight and almost commit himself to having a brand new pair of brown pants

  I am the last of the pumpmasters for this town the pump house has been locked please have your people come with me and unlock it to turn it back on please

  The old guy didn't even wait to be answered because he just kind of turned around slowly and started walking off very slowly because he wasn't going fast by the time he was at least 60 feet to 70 feet away the other people were looking at the dwarf that was absolutely **** himself a brick in his pants almost where he just looked at the other two people and said get it all packed up and follow that man now

  And without even waiting for the other people around him to acknowledge what he said he fast walked as fast as he could to catch up with the old guy and then just met his pace and kept on going after they were at least 100 to 300 feet away the younger of the two dwarfs look back and ocean for them to come on get going and start following

  As the older dwarf led them to a part of the town that was just a big stone brick wall against one of the outside walls of the fort

  Then that dwarf realized this wasn't a fort this was the pump building the whole thing was a pump building in the middle of town

  So as everybody caught up and that younger the two dwarves had already made it there had started snooping around he found the main door and he looked over at the older dwarf with the cane and just said here with pointing and I went nodded and said Yup this is it and he said how do we open it and he actually grabbed his cane and he put it in his hand by holding the piece that he would put on the ground and he pointed the nub that he was holding at that younger door and the dwarf got to see that there was a crystal hole where his hat had been and then he said look at your feet and there was a hole in the ground so he knew exactly what to do

  He dashed up to the old dwarf and gently took it away from him the cane and looked at it and he smiled he goes hang on and he rushed to 10 feet to the group that I was just getting to them and he showed the whole he said tune this get a crystal in here and bring it back okay he's like okay and as the door from the clan of harmonics took the cane and bailed and went back to the caravan to get it all thick stuff and cleaned up he told the other 3DWARFS hey over here and there was a pile of dirt and overgrown weeds he said we got to clean this whole area up we got like 20 minutes to do it just by hand rip it all up come on we got to find the holes here we got to clean it up now the old guy left and went literally next door to his house and he came back with a broom about five minutes later so by the time he got back they had ripped up all the biologicals in there just trying to sweep away with their hands so one of them saw him coming up and ran up to him and said thank you grab the brew and just started to sweep it away and they found one hole where they all started blowing into it to try to dig it out and it was 1 hole there that was a metal rimmed hole and about five minutes after that they had all just taken a break and someone had passed out a canteen that did not have water in it wink wink nudge nudge the old guy took a deep hole of it he said I haven't had this in since I was a kid well you got to get some of this in town this is great and he was sloth with 1 step he sat down and just watched from a rock love that old guy

  When a runner came back with a cane they had realized that there was actually two pieces of cloth and the Klan member from the clan of harmonics was you could see him in the distance he wasn't running so he will get there in a minute but both ends had crystals embedded and clothed on them so I guess they had found the bottom end had something set up too because it looked like and before he could really figure it out that Klan member got to him and he said be careful the whole core was crystal so I had to remove it all and I was able to fit a lot of little pieces that normally wouldn't work together whatever this wood is and the medal is it was meant to do this this is the power source for this whole place I think

  So they fitted the cane into the hole they found and pushed down and nothing happened so they gave it a twist and nothing happened so they said OK we've taken off the cloth on the bottom to put it in the hole but we haven't taken the cloth off the top let's see what happened when light makes it to that crystal and goes all the way down and we cleaned it so that there was no more particles of dirt there we cleaned it by finger in the end

  It was absolutely terrifying what happened because as they pulled the cloth off and it was this little bag basically the sun hit the lens and it was quite beautiful because the cane had green and black was what colour it was but the difference between the two colours was like neon to glow in the dark the whole cane started changing to green and black but the green was neon and the black was glow-in-the-dark and it was filling up so much that they were about to put the bag on it and then all of the energy went from the top and you could see it was like almost like it was draining out water or liquid but it was the colouring just drained out into the rock below and it literally was inking the rock the rock you could see living ink or magic being flowed through different things that I guess were written in them but you couldn't tell they were written in them before but it just it just looked like stone before but now these different almost tribal patterns were human dwarf and L ruins and there was even other runes that they didn't even know what they were they were so small and was like like a gnome or goblin or a fairy would write something that small

  As the power left to staff it actually push the staff out of the hole and it just fell over but they caught it before it hit the ground but as it pushed the staff out it basically made it so you could put the staff back in it was flat again it just had shoved it straight up well all the energy went into what they thought was a fort but it had no entrance it was just a big block kind of building well the top of the building smokestacks that had been lowered down had started raising up and the smokestacks when they raised up they opened up so now you would see steam start coming out of the building through the smokestacks and there was one in each of the four corners

  The grinding noises that were coming from the building everybody was really freaked out about 'cause they did not sound healthy and they were absolutely right because the next thing that happened is that the smoke out of two of the stacks stopped and the other two went into like overdrive tried it overtake for what they couldn't handle on the other 2 and 1 of the doors that they didn't even realize was there actually popped open and it didn't lead into more than like a 4 foot area but that 4 foot area was just covered in pipes and there was different gauges

  One of the text that was into plumbing had already been there 'cause he heard pump house and he knew what he should be and how it should work so he was like OKI want to see this thing so he was one of the 1st people to pop his head in there and as he popped his head he started seeing dials in the red and he started following pipes back to different valves that were closed so we started opening up valves and the 1st one it did something but it made more worse noises but he thought This is what I'm supposed to do this is relieving pressure from this area and he opened up another valve he said this is a relieving pressure and then he opened up the third valve and the pressure on almost all the gauges except for like 2 or 3 off in the corner all went back to green all of them they always like the major pressure relief the two smokestacks in the back went from ramping up harder and harder and harder to starting to ramp down and started to balance a mellow out and the two smokestacks that had turned off actually started to work but one smokes act turned on and you could see that one of them was actually doing a pole and not of a push it was really backwards

  That dwarf took another five minutes and two extra dwarves coming in and pointing out that this pipe over here was open for vacuum and was actually blowing out and if they did this and turn this other valve here it would actually reverse it and it would blow it out so he had figured out how to do a blowout but he hadn't figured out how to just get it to start back up without just shutting it back into where it was so he had to figure out what caused the pressure overload before they could shut it down and turn it back into normal maintenance mode and what they found was one of the valves they went through all the valves cuz it was in blow down and they opened and closed them make sure they could all open and close fully one of them was literally stuck open that was it so they realized they had to fix it so during all this time they realized how they could tell it to be higher lower where the controls were and when they found the controls it was actually on the outside but without a cable that was hanging up plugged in you wouldn't see it it looked like a piece of rock but when they plugged it in the rock turned into a monitor and it had the interface that looked like it was written out of rock it was beautiful and ancient so they got the monitor connected up they closed the door and they had one of the dwarfs take that valve back and while they were rebuilding a valve which actually wasn't that hard with the machine shop they basically brought with them they started exploring the pump house a little bit and they found old blueprints in a hidden room inside but underneath it so by the time they had gotten the pieces all fixed and replaced they had also pulled out all the documents and made the same deal but they would supply the power and all that if they could have a copies of the data they made copies and they repaired some of the old documents and they gave them back a brand new box with the documents all laid out in them in their own little spots and they was all labeled and it was done up they basically had some really OCD dwarves in the caravan that took this as oh we have something to do instead of just drinking ourselves silly every night while we wait to do something and it was beautiful when they gave it back and it right back into the pump house and it was even protected from steam and everything it was vacuum sealed

  The pump house manager he was so happy but because he didn't have any children to pass it down to one of the guys that was going to stay in town asked him if he could learn and in return he'd ask if that documentation be moved to a town hall where it could be protected and safe for the next generation they protected it for now in the pump house and they got it turned on and running but he said I think we can work with that and he agreed it shook this dwarves hand so people started figuring out who is staying and who was going and after a couple of days they did this whole thing many a times by the time they returned almost a year later their different documents had already been delivered one by one from each town back through small micro caravan delivering stuff back to the horde

  They got water in most cities turned back on that they didn't even know could be working they actually had to stop some of it because it was flooding areas that had never been maintained and they just didn't know there was even water there was farmers that just now instantly had water for farms that never for generations had the ability to have water they had to bring it themselves there was even a mine that had been sealed and when they went to turn on and they thought it was just a stone in the guys backyard and he said hey look at this they went and they said hey it's a giant stone with a spot for crystal they put a crystal in it 50 feet over two giant 100 foot long and wide chunks of stone literally were pulled out of the way and a giant ramp walkway led down into cavernous depths and it was like Oh my god they had found an old cave system that they had dugout and when they went and looked inside some of it was used for storage old books that were honestly gone through moisture and rot they just were petrified but there was even some metal plaques that explained that this was a storage for the town and now that they could use it and they could open it close it as they needed it was a great idea so they didn't even know they had that till then so that was a boon to that small town.

  This went on for many years and those caravans would send back things that would change the world because everything they sent back was taught at the school and was stored in the horde

  Back at Mint MT

  You would think that the kids the three kings would be introduced to kids their own age and what they got to meet some of them but a lot of them were told to show respect to the Kings and right now the Kings had a lot of that more Or less needed equals and friends not people that dealt with their titles

  That's when there was an accident in one of the mines on the mountain and a young girl around the boy's ages was brought to them in need of healing

  The story went while the boys were learning during the morning she was in a cave and she went to hit the wall of the cave with a pickaxe but what happened was the whole thing the whole orb shattered and she fell into the ore below her people got to her but it was so much glass poking her all over it was like getting killed by a thousand little cuts she was just it was blood she was it was everywhere

  Some of the other people had magic for healing so some people that were on site that actually knew what they were doing had tried to do it the best they could but they all tapped out she had so many little cuts at every single cut and need a little bit of their time so even as they were transporting it these people were draining themselves silly just trying to close up all these micro cuts on her body the only thing that she saved was her face her arms her hands her legs everything got sliced a little bit

  So when they got to the cabin and the king was called out to help he came out with the rest of everybody and they saw this young girl just blood everywhere and he just went right to healing her without even thinking and one thing that people hadn't been talking about on purpose because they have been told not to say a word if they figured it out and the three old dwarves knew what was about to be happening so they actually already ran over to all the people that brought the girl and said whatever you're about to see you did not say anything to anyone do you understand

  This was said to the whole group and they were not allowing them to say anything but just nod their head and said yes and King one just didn't even pay attention to that and when rate of healing her but the amount of healing aura he gave off was not normal he basically was not using healing aura he was taking his own magic tying into her soul and into the magic she had tuning her magic to him and then using her own magic to heal the really really small things on the inside that no one could figure out or see that they were fighting with because she knew her body better she could feel all the pains but he had done tune her to magic of healing and he had done that by accident with Larry and one of his brother so now they had the ability to use healing magic but they felt it wasn't their normal so they would start pushing back to their normal and now they knew where to go for healing but it wasn't what they were normally used to but so you could push someone out of their magical ability and into another one but you would have to fight to do it and then practice until it became natural to you and these guys couldn't do that but they understood it from the pinch they knew where they had to push for healing and pay it would help better than nothing right larry actually said with that he had a slow recovery now that he didn't have before larry liked that one

  You would think that there's a possibility of failing but the young king had an understanding of his own magic that not many people had it was that of pure and other trust and respect in his own abilities now his abilities sometimes surprised him by doing more than he was expecting but he knew what he was getting himself into and what he was doing

  Or he thought he did because when she opened her eyes and looked directly into his they were bonded right there because of Larry king one had Larry's telepathy in a subtle way when he had pushed into her mind and into her magic they had already been very compatible well he just tuned her up good and by that I mean he turned her on in every single way you could think and then her magic and then her mental abilities because she too drained it to him and he felt her pain she felt his happiness to be fixing her and they felt each other they just looked at each other and then she closed her eyes and he just smiled and they said nothing to no one but Larry caught it and the 2 brothers caught it but no one else did and after she was healed she just fell asleep she was checked over and they said well take her into town to get her rest and blah blah blah and she was leaving but as they were about to leave her hand and King one's head had been holding each other's and she let go that she hadn't let go before and when she let go he had his hand closed they took her away and the two brothers and Larry noticed his hand be closed and asked what's it in his hand

  He opened his hand it was a Nugget of metal and looked like gold but it wasn't gold like it was even the Kings didn't know they've been getting trained on all of us they could tell different things by look **** number three King 3 he came over grabbed it he put it in his mouth they're all like what the and then they realize what he was doing he goes I don't know this one

  King one smacked him on the back of the head and he spit out the piece into his hand and King 1 just went over to the wash barrel that was over to the side because he was kind of covered in blood and spit and washed off the rock and he said I'm going into town to check on her and find out what this is everybody else want to come

  They all looked over and said hell yeah bakery run there was also a butcher in town now and so they could go get some beef jerky and sausages and pepperoni and they had people bringing this up but now they could go pick

  The attitude City Hall and the Assessor in the basement in the vault he asked to see it and he looked at it he put in his machine and his machine pumped out? He said if you're okay can I keep this in here for the next hour or two and I'll uh I'll give you a silver just go buy junk food and come back OK bring me something too here's two silver

  The story of the Pirates turned into port town people got around so they knew this man was and they didn't worry one bit so they took the two silver and bailed and basically went and got munchies and when they got back he is sitting there drinking and smoking his pipe and because Larry was there Larry knew he wasn't supposed to be smoking and drinking indoors so he goes is it that good

  The Little Gnome just looked up at Larry and started laughing and laughing and laughing and he peed himself right there and the kids were disgusted and everybody was just absolutely horrified and he was so drunk already that someone went upstairs and got his wife the mayor's assistant what also got the mayor brought down and when she came in and smelt it and went what the **** is wrong with you you sick little **** and the mayor went Oh my god he hasn't done this in years what does he got she came up and smacked her husband across the face

  It took him a honestly a solid half minute to calm down and smiling he's just smiling he was so happy that he peed himself he just looked at her and said X3555 X3555

  That was one of her codes for her husband and them for things that they had like this little book but it was in the book anymore it was a filing cab that they had in the back so she thought OK I don't remember what that one was so she went to the back and she went to look for it and it's not back here and he just took the folder off his desk and he held it up and just smiling at her and she came over and opened up the file and when she looked at it she looked at bend the eyes like it was a shaw and she closed it and looked at everybody she went over to the bottle and just started chugging as hard as she could and the file was down and she just started to go into the corner and shaking holding her knees

  her husband was looking at her laughing his **** off she wasn't in tear she was lost on her own mind rocking back and forth like a little kid this was not okay whatever this was and Larry and the merit already opened up the file and started reading it and it read something like a horror novel

  Sometime a long time ago they had a pirate ship that they were on had taken over another pirate ship and it was great the pirates they dealt with them but when they were doing the inventory of the ship in the hall they're sometimes hidden things well they took the boat that they were taking over and it was a piece of crap and they were going to scuttle it but they weren't going to scuttle it in the water they would take it to shore and they basically beached it and then took it apart for the wood so they could repair their boat while while they were doing that they found an idol hidden inside the boat this idol was pure evil all it had on the bottom of it was the number X 3555 and that actually was a coordinate on a map that they found because they got someone got really angry at when they saw it and they were like religious zealots against this thing and they broke the the idol and inside was the map in that folder was that map with that location but also inside there was a key made out of metal and it was in the folder it was the same metal that the girl had found

  Both the key and the piece of metal both red? Put it through the metal analyzer so they knew it was magical they guessed now but they had no idea

  Larry being that kind of guy thought about it for a second said hey as anybody tried putting this piece of metal in the sun at all or put it next to any man of glass yet and energized yet

  Everybody turned to Larry and everybody looked over at the Little Noman he nodded into his head no no I didn't but it's a great idea let's do it so he went over to one of his boxes he had prepared for doing this thing since they've been doing it already and he basically put the piece of metal that the girl brought and a piece of managlass and he energized it for only a second when it came out it glowed exactly like the gems the disks that everybody was wearing that gave off magic except instead of being a blue glowing crystal this was a silvery medal so this was instead of blue crystal this was silver medal crystal but it looked like or or yeah it was lumpy like or so maybe this was a metal crystal that had melted down like the blue ones had so was this had someone come here before or found another chunk of the mountain like this but they now had a map to maybe another crystal vein somewhere in their world and this was shown on a boat so if it's not on their landmass it could be on another landmass there was islands out there they could get to but they were usually overrun by monsters from the ocean or land creatures didn't survive too long

  The reason the caption was in the corner shaking it was her old boyfriends gone bad ship, it was found on…. He was a bad man and was better off dead.

  Without really thinking about it he put the key in next and charge that well **** on me they had never thought to do that before and now when they did that the map actually showed a bright silver mark on it so they knew exactly wherever this was they knew exactly where to go dig or wherever the doorway was

  Larry was looking at the map upside down and the silver mark showed up and he said hey hold on look at that map if you fold it in half right on the X there does not look like the town like 400 miles down the shore from us

  Everybody was like what are you talking about like what what town are you talking about larry was like remember that little fishing village that was well if you went by a horse you would have to go through two towns up the coast then you take off that last town you're 1/2 a day and then you cut towards the water there was a little fishing ledge with like 20 or 30 people there remember that from when I was a kid does that make sense and one of the older dwarves that it was with the whole crew when they came down looked at the map and went hold on and he literally ran out you're hanging back with one of the guys that was a photographers for the group and he said hey up here and he brought maps with him he was like and they looked at it and it was like yeah that's over there he said ok I'm taking this guy we're going to go for a thing we're back a couple of days guys we're taking that key with us the mayor the guy that ran the vault and the mayor's assistant the guy's wife all had pale white bases and when everybody looked at them they went maybe take some muscle with you too this might just be a really bad place everybody want to go pick a fight there

  Those are words you should never say especially in City Hall because there is enough dwarves in this room that you had three hands go up instantly not the kids not the old dwarf people that were outside doing their own thing but kind of overheard it so yeah within minutes and already like spread through the word and the Grapevine and there was already a group people at the front of the City Hall that had swords in their hands and clubs over the like hey when we leave it

  A runner went to the end and gave their report on what they were doing we're told to go screw off and find out what magical crap that they had there and be very careful and they even brought some explosives someone said and oh it's going to be a party so they let 1 or two of the craziest guys they had there take off and get the heck out of town everybody was very happy for to have the village idiot gone for a couple days making trouble somewhere else

  They asked to keep that piece of metal in the vault and they all agreed because it was so valuable but it belonged to that young girl and they were going to talk to her about it and offer her 10 gold for it as a gift but what would you say to give her for it

  No clue it's priceless the old gnome said well one just had a smile on his face because while they were all doing this he had gone over to other desk and sat there and been very quiet but he had just stupid stupid romantic lovesick smile in his face and he just wrote a little note on a piece of paper and as there are all leaving he handed it off to the mayor's assistant and she just looked at it and then read it folded it put it in her pocket looked at him and he had this stupid I'm in love look and she just smiled and patted him on the head and they just didn't say anything else in the left

  Literally on purpose 5 minutes after everybody left she went right back down into the vault told her husband to go into one of the storage areas from when they were pirates and find 2 really nice gold rings Nothing special but that piece of metal that the girl brought in take a small piece of that and make AA wire and wrap that around both of those rings and she showed her husband the note

  All the notes said was I think I'm in love what are the proper things I should do in this case i'm a little out of my league can you help out do I get her gold or something

  When the old gnome saw it he laughed he said I can do better than that give me some time i'll have them ready when you need them and he went over to the shelf and found a little jewelry box that he had a whole whack of but he picked a nice little one he said I'll have it on the desk here if you need to come grab it just grab it off my desk and she smelled gave him a kiss and then happily skipped her way upstairs thinking that she was playing matchman for and having fun

  The gnome had been talking with some of the different clans especially the clan of harmonic then he had learned kind of their tricks it wasn't a lot to learn but once he understood what they were doing he tried it a couple times himself with some spare material that he just happened to have

  In the end he took the gold bands that he had found and he put them through a machine to turn him into a really fine wire actually and he had two spools 1 in each hand he then took that little piece of metal that she brought and he tried to turn it into wire and it took him three times as long when it came out it came out not crumbly but it came out with a weird pattern or it was almost like scales that were connected to each other so it was it was it was almost like it was made of chain it was such a weird thing when it came through the machine it wanted to break in Ben but it didn't break at all but it just wanted to bend and move and it was a natural formation of it so it was really weird so it must have been a crystalline structure of some sort so he took these pieces of string and he started weaving them into bands he then took a couple pieces of small sliver crystal which is crystal that's so small it's almost dust like you would put it in a mortar and pestle alternative dust these small pieces he took and he'd put them in little bits of this glue he understood the secrets of their opaque glue that gets the light from being there he then made these rings and they looked ugly but then he took them to the Sander and he rolled them on the Sander and took off the layer of grime on the top and the metals and the glasses all came out holy crap it worked he made two rings that were attuned to each other and when he put him on his finger he could actually feel his other finger poking his other finger so he touched fingers together and he could feel double sensations these were connecting the two rings as one they were a harmonically linked he put him in the box and that now he told his wife what he made he got a very very enthusiastic thank you from her and had a smile on his face for a day and 1/2 after that

  Between the next time the two the young girl and the young boy dwarfs got to be together alone the mayor's assistant had dumped herself down into the vault at one point and grabbed the Rings and handed it off to him with a note saying when the time is right you give her 1 and you put on 1 and that'll tell her you're serious other than that enjoy her company and be good to her that's all we can ask of you

  He had smiled and just take it and just ran but he didn't know was that the mayor was in on this and everybody was in the to the point where she was being groomed now by the little old ladies because well she kind of won one of the king's hearts who was she where was she from well she was the Klan member now so she could totally date the Kings and even marry them if they wanted it and she didn't understand why people were paying attention to her now she was just a digger she just was a young person that liked me in the mines she was getting taught trained things about history and people wanted to be around her and she didn't understand and it wasn't until the next time that the two of them saw each other that she smiled and he smiled and he just went to her and before anybody could say anything he kissed her right on the lips and she kissed him right back

  No one even noticed him slipped the box in her pocket

  That night she was whisked away by the two little old ladies no one knew what happened in the boys were even worried until a messenger coming to them the next morning telling them that she was whisked away for training with little ladies and they were off the hook for the next week or two and they could thank number one for that

  The young boy king one had the stupid smile on his face since that day and no one knew why he had told anybody but Larry knew he did something really stupid he was making him happy so he realized it was between him and that girl and the little leaves were getting to get bulk so it wasn't hard to tell where this was going but he didn't know about the rigs until he went to talk to his uncle and he asked for some information and he started laughing and explained what happened and they dragged to the kids so 1 down 2 more wives to find

  During this whole time people dwarves elves humans had been going down through the laser cave to fight the ants and that's what they were they were just super big ants well they've been fighting them for weeks and they've been killing them I want to say no one had died but yeah only two people had died but it still sucked but what happened was one of them had exposes on them and there was one of them that was going to die so kind of went out with a bang and he took a **** load with them with them

  The other one honestly went out the same way except this one was on purpose he had well he had the alcohol issue where he couldn't handle alcohol anymore and he was angry and in pain because of his stomach hurting all the time and he couldn't have fat in his diet so even healing fix them but it then it came back after so they didn't know what to do with him other than he was supposed to take a knife to his own gut and cut out a chunk of his bowels and then get healed and he's like hell if I'm going to do that I'm just going to go and explode myself he had no family he was kind of a crazy **** **** **** ****

  When they finally got deep enough and they found one of the Queens to the colony he did a total suicide bombing and I know it's not right and it wasn't the right thing to do and everybody was super mad at he did it but he did and it was just big enough that it killed the queen but didn't take down the whole room thank God they were so thinking he was going to do that everybody was even running thinking that he was going to bring down the roof

  So everybody was kind of mad at those two but also thankful that there was only two that died there was lots of injuries even a couple of amputations but all of those got brought back up and the amputations can't be regrown at this time but history of everything the supposing magic had that so maybe soon that they could bring that back too so yay for science and progress and all that good stuff

  So the strange thing that they found is once they started to clean out and dig it out what they had found was the tunnel that the laser cave had actually dug was the main branch of this colony so once they had all their people out and they thought they had killed all the bugs and they just wanted to give it a try cleaning out the actual tunnel and the light day that they've been using cleaned out to first 100 feet that's great but anything past that the light was not enough to burn or anything they could barely even made 300 feet for glowing 400 feet

  So they told everybody to get the hell out of the way they put everybody behind and what they did was they reversed the gem and they actually had at this point already put mirrors all the way from outside in and they brought sunlight in they could turn it off from down the hallway by turning off the sunlight by tilting the mirror

  The amazingly stupid thing happened was when they put that much power down it set all that poop on fire yep they had a thought that might happen but they didn't really think it was going to be that bad so when they turned off the laser and the fire was coming up then set up a way of rolling the door back in place if necessary so they activated that and the weight hit the door and slammed it shut and the fire was basically on and firing throughout the old cave system down below cooking all the dead bodies and poop

  They let it go for two whole days and then they went and checked on it and when they checked on it the first people that went in got sick instantly because they sucked in some of the dust that was there and it was poop dust and magic glass dust because what they didn't realize is that the ants had been eating the magic loss in their food for a long. With mushrooms so they've been processing this stuff down into a fine powder

  When they were rushed back and checked in on they got the king one to come down to use his magical healing ability and they spit out a blob of this material and then they got better but he had to move it out of them because it was bonding with their skin being small crystal particles it was almost like having asbestos poisoning

  So the first thing they did was get some water mages and Wizards to go in there and literally wet it all down to keep it down and then they got masks made up that were thick enough and they got the cleaning done and they cleaned the whole place up and by doing that and packing it in they actually made a material that was super reactive to sunlight but also high energy kind of like the manure for the crystal beast but this had so much more powder in it so much more powdered crystal that was good and activated and once they got in deep enough they could look up and actually see the K-14 blue glowing crystal which had gotten a little dimmer over the last couple of weeks but was still quite bright enough that they could see it and they even had someone go up and put light in the chandelier and they could see it and they literally put a light in the chandelier that they could turn on and off with the mirrors to bring light in when they did that it refracted the light all around the cave system and they could now start charging the cave and sealing off tunnels with the crystal dust in it and by doing that they found out that they could actually compact the crystal dust into coin shapes so some of the really good earth manipulators came down and started making these discs and bricks out of it when those bricks were taken out of the cave and put them in the sunlight they started glowing and grass and other plant light would literally within minutes start growing enough to cover these bricks and close the light off from them and whenever they died the light would come back I would revitalize the bricks these were automatic growth for plant bricks this was amazing they started chipping these bricks out all over to all the farms all you do is hit one of these bricks put it on a kite or a balloon and then have it fly over your your yard a little bit and then put it away that little bit flying over your yard would make your grass super green and grow like 4 feet some people even put them on wooden poles and every day they let their grass and farmland get a couple of more inches to feet and they were actually doing production 3 to 4 or 5 even times a year now instead of once or twice it was amazing these things were selling like hot cakes by selling mean given a way to every group that wanted them by the kings of all the different countries decree this was amazing this explains some of the old stories of how they had so much food production in the old days

  This is not just a normal story but this is what happened with the 3rd king and the 2nd king next because the second king figured out 1 of his special abilities the third king could sense smell taste it had the senses of magic 2 could see magic but didn't have another ability to his knowledge at this point until one day him and Larry were just popping through tunnels where he was saying hey go through here larry there's an opening that they found a very odd stone formation in one of the caves so as they were pushing through Larry opened it up and there was no air inside it never been open and as they walk in it was only about 30 feet in diameter and they were on the same level so they walked straight in but what they found in the middle of the room scared the **** out of them because this room was sealed it was airtight no one had ever been in here and inside the middle of the room was a perfect ring about ten feet tall ten feet wide perfectly sitting there in the middle of the ring like it was a portal

  Larry looked at the number two and just said Do you see anything from it because number two it froze and right there and he just nodded in his head and he wouldn't take his eyes off the portal because he says I can see through the other side of that portal and Larry's like what do you mean it's a ring but there's nothing in the middle of it and he was Larry's about to put his hand through the show that there's nothing there and number two just shouted don't do that

  The ferocity with that king two yelled at Larry basically got Larry's attention very quickly and he did not put his arm through but he did step back and throw a rock that did not go through the other side and disappeared so Larry's like OK I'm so sorry for not believing you there's a portal right there that I can't see and with that they got the hell out of that room and they sealed it up with bars of stones going across and they went around and grabbed everybody going we now have a portal someplace in our home that has been sealed away since who knows when and is made by we don't know what

  Once the Guardians of the Klan had heard about this they had swarmed that room and other dwarfs that I could see magic came in and they couldn't see the portal like they could see the ring but they couldn't see the portal or through it and what the young King explained to everybody that he could see was purple grass on the other side with blue trees the sky was a red pink and yellow and the clouds were baby blue and he was looking out over a valley and he was on top of a hill and that's when he could see and when he threw the rock through that Larry threw through the portal he could see that rock laying on the other side so at that point when someone heard that one of the craziest dwarves that had been super drunk they said hang on and walk through it before anybody could even say anything and not thinking that he would do it knowing that what it was going on yeah when he got to the other side he hit the ground so hard you could see him trying to get up and he couldn't even push himself up the gravity on the other side must have been two or three times the amount because as he crawled his way back through the portal and he did he couldn't even breathe on the other side he said it was so heavy

  Larry then took a couple of rocks and got them weighed and he threw them at the same spot and he measured out how far they were by a sticky that he Pushed through the portal to measure how far the rocks had made it and then needed the same experiment with the same size rocks outside the cave and he realized it's got to be at least four times the weight of their planet so four times bigger over there

  The dwarf explained that there was some sort of air over there but when he tried to suck it in it hurt his lungs and he just coughing when he came through so it wasn't good air over there

  It was made very clear very quickly that this now belonged to the school and it was their responsibility to guard it and if they could move it 1 day move it but if not that they were to protect this room and if they could communicate with people on the other side to be polite or respectful if they came through they may be able to fly because of the weight difference you never know they definitely be able to jump farther maybe even jump from out to top to mountaintop maybe there's a magic that they can wear to negatively affect the gravity and also give them oxygen to their liking on the other side if that's the case that would be very neat to have a new world to explore

  The knowledge of the portal Made it to the Kings of the different countries and they just couldn't believe all the things that were coming out of this one little town in such a small amount of time and they were just like it's making us money doesn't matter which country or it's not making us all money so they loved it and they loved it all so much they just kept on sending stuff and telling people to send stuff and they would get food money crystals whatever they need and they just started helping the trade system they bounced at the top and let the people out below just do what they need to do this system seemed to work out very well and you would think it would be more broken but now people just got paid that was it

  A further mystery

  This was also now the time where they actually had one of their first trials in town because 2 of the people had come and said they would join the clan and did all the proper things and were a part of it kept secrets and it's not their own private secrets they found something on the mountain and the Dioas they get to make a home but they got to tell us what they find something and they broke that trust and it was until one of their friends ratted them out because what they had found was and honestly that was the problem no one really knew what it was even now so how it came down was they were doing what everybody was doing and they were pushing through into a bubble chamber that was never been open before but just like the portal there was something there except this was a perfect cube and I mean perfect it was 1 foot by 1 foot by 1 foot and you couldn't move it then they had tried everything and they they said it was theirs and they ain't have to tell anybody in yeah the trial went very easily they were removed from the mountain and they were just moved to another town they were allowed to live their life they just weren't allowed to be around the horde anymore and for them they were more gardening than mining and the thing that they figured out during the investigation was that the cube had a mental effect to it so no one after they figured that out really wanted to hold these 22 responsible but it seemed to bring out that part in their personalities so they were going to keep an eye on them and move them away and if they are still like that after a year or two then yeah not too sure didn't hopefully they kept out of trouble

  Anybody that went into that house and then into the backroom where the cube was would come out and they would say no I've only been in there for a couple minutes but you've been in there for like 1020 minutes they did a test where they had a whole back of doors holding hands and they were literally counting the time and the moment you got within a foot of that cube you would basically start losing seconds so there was some sort of time manipulation going on here around that cube now we did have some doors some humans and some elves that all had magical abilities like being able to see through rock so of course we'll grab them all and ask them to come take a look at it and what we found I don't want to say was nothing the floor was normal the cube was normal but it was a solid piece of metal they couldn't see inside of it now one of the people said that only other time that they had found something like this was when they were looking for rocks on the mountain side and they found one well it wasn't a rock it was a petrified egg and it looked like an egg and because it was rock she could see through it but because there was metal from the structure of the shell it was you couldn't see all the way through it the inside was semi blocked this is the same idea so this was a metal shell around something whatever this something was was temporally screwing around so they posted guards in and they started a machine rube Goldberg Machine and the idea was every time this machine went around 1 lap I would go through the field once and they would judge the loss of the track and the difference in times would be how much they're losing every time that ball bearing goes through that zone around the cube

  They started to realize that the actual time that you lost was exactly 60 seconds you lost one minute every time you got in range so whatever you were doing in there either your brains just paused for one moment 31 minute or you just weren't allowed to remember what was going on in there that brought the ideas around to the gods and stuff like that so there was another big meeting and yeah when the kids asked about the gods and how that all worked and they had been explained somewhat but they wanted like one good answer that would explain it all well I didn't get it not because they did everybody didn't want to give it to them but everybody had a little bit of a different explanation so in the end the kids just kind of talked with each other and said okay if we understand this right there are two types of Gods physical gods and religious gods

  The explanation they then gave was that the physical gods change reality at their whim the religious gods are the people you pray to that you believe control above those gods but don't interfere in our reality

  Everybody was like that's close enough there's also elementals different types of energies and supposedly machines that talk and move from the old stories so I haven't met any of that has anybody else and everybody kind of looked around the room and was like yeah no I haven't met any gods I know we believe in them and what we believe in some people have said that they've seen animals that act like the gods that they believe in so maybe that's The thing is this is just a big thing of God so what we're seeing here is something that's screwing around with time or our memories that's the next level that's that's physical but religious that's the gods that control everything that's big time gods that's 2 for 1 sale gods

  This got everybody kind of humming and hawing and trying to figure out if there was a better way of saying it but again out of the mouth of Babes comes the truth sometimes because number two just said Hey has anybody tried putting a piece of paper on the cube??

  Everybody looked at each other went silent and then kind of face palmed internally because they went nope larry's like I'll be right back and he took a book of blank pages they just had on the shelf because they were using a lot of them lately so they had a whole lock delivered up to the cabin and he went over it took him a couple hours to get there and back when he got back he had a book and another book full of writing he said the moment he put it onto the cube the book just changed shape and this is what it came out as and then he put another book and it changed shape and it came out like this and it's two different leather bound books that these were not leather bound when he started so whatever is there is has ability to change its shape of the material it's touching means that it can change our brains yeah might not be so great to be around that thing

  But during that time on the walk \ run back Larry had been holding these two books and of course he had been looking at them first making sure that they could be out in the sunlight because of all the glass that he's been dealing with just kind of a habit at this point and during that time he noticed a couple of places where you would get literally and he did he flipped this little metal latch and it would release a little area on the cover that would look decorative but now you could put a crystal shard into it and then close it up and I'm like huh really when I get back I wonder if we're supposed to do that well when he got back you could and he was opening the book and looking at it kind of just once or twice just to make sure it was safe and when he got back he's like gay I'm just going to do this outside in case something really goes wrong but he just wanted to flip through it to make sure there's nothing hidden inside the books or something of going to grab out and you're at page 73 or something like that and grab you larry had a vivid imagination of stupid stuff

  Once him the old dwarves and honestly a half dozen guards had come up to like see what had been brought back being told the story they were guarding these two books whilst the clan of harmonics was summoned with requests for pieces that would fit and they gave dimensions and tuning on site and it was sunset by a time they got there with the crystals and it was almost perfect 'cause the last rays of the sun could be used just as a test it wouldn't be a lot of sunlight so it's better than a full blown noon test

  They had already let four different elves and dwarves just sit down with these books as soon as they brought them back read them out loud and also write them out into four other new books so they had four copies for each of the books and it was just basically a manual one of them was a mechanical's manual but then the other one this is what got really heavy it wasn't a textbook or a written manual it was a communication that just went page by page and there was only three pages that were written in at the time the following is what's in the 1st 3 pages

  Hello my little dwarfs I am writing this to you to explain what you have found and welcome you to my home you have found my doormat the first couple people that came here were very polite but due to the rules were not allowed to remember me but being the intelligent people that you are you were put down two books one to answer one of your questions that was asked if I could help bring back some of your old machines here a book on mechanics now the second book is a talking book it doesn't talk out loud but lets me write to you and you write to me I have another book and when you write in yours I see it I may not be able to extend the amount of pages so we'll ask that the first couple of questions we keep them very short and say hello my name is Max

  The next page was a map of the content they were on there was that X rate were the door cube I guess you would call it was and then there was another x on a cloud off to the left side of the entire map and that was it so it was either saying it was off to this area or it was literally on that cloud so that was super weird

  The last page was the first couple of questions that Max was asking to the people on the other side of this book

  30,000 years ago the people of your continent and my continent were good friends sometimes there was fights but we always communicated over time there was wars and then there was peace and then there was silence 10,000 years ago they came back and they talked again but only for a short. Only about 1000 years and then quiet again this is the first time in 9000 years this doorway has been opened to any communication so please let me know what has been going on for the last 9000 years sorry you might have to keep it short

  To give a little bit of **** for tat I will give you some information way before recorded history everybody talks about the Great Fire that started everything some places that have been visited use what we call science and explained it as the Big Bang some places that dealt with magic and had no science called that the creation of all magic they were all correct in all the different ways to be of the very simplest form of explanation instead of pulling in energy something out there started spitting it out and when it spit it out it was too much so it split into different layers like liquids you are now in one of those layers all the things that work like you are in that layer if it's lighter it's above you if it's heavier it's below you now what makes things heavier lighter smarter faster stronger different in every which way well that's the kind of magic of it all there's so many different energies and different things that are connected in this soup that's floating and every once in a while something pokes between a couple of different layers there are poke's not bad poke gives someone an interesting experience but when that poke stays around for a bit they infect not just that one layer and the layer they're poking but every layer in between so sometimes those change how all the layers work and sometimes they mix what we're seeing here is layers that are so far apart and so different that the question is is mixing a good idea or a bad idea I wait your story of your history so far talk to you soon max

  When everybody read that and they understood what they were talking about the kids just said straightforward give them three pages of information and that's it and you have to fit all 9000 years that you have into that so only the highlights now they were nice enough to explain and if we take them at face value then we have to make sure that what goes through the 2 doorways doesn't make everything in between mix now that the doorways even there and that the other side has such control over it is what scares me larry let out and just kind of looked at everybody

  The boys had the book open when Larry said that and the book just wrote the next line

  Larry you earned 10 points for being smart and cautious you're a good guardian of these children I hereby promise my name as Max that I will not harm anyone on your side of the doorway as long as you do not try to harm my side of the doorway I hereby give my oath and promise will you reciprocate the sentiment and oath and swear that no harm should come between us or we should colour the door before that should happen this is the same pact I've offered in the past

  The kids realizing what it was at face value just agreed and everybody kind of snapped at them real quick that what the hell do you agreeing to but the book just wrote the next line and then everybody kind of relax and calm down

  And with that the doorway is closed but the books will stay open

  Which means they can't use the doorway anymore to make more books or anything else and when this book runs out they either have to go find Max or talk him into somehow turning on the portal and making more books or something which is all maxes control.

  Ever had someone throw a monkey wrench into someone's plans and it turns out the best possible outcome at the moment for yourself well this is what happened for the three kings because during this whole time talking with Max and in the book and whole 9 yards the two old guardians one of straight face and one of crazy eyes were there in the back sitting drinking tea and bourbon and just kind of slightly learning listening and giggling until the boys made their move and Max agreed and then they stepped in no one understood what was happening until 6:00 of the Guardians walked up and just pushed everybody out of the way took the books the original mechanical book and Max's communication book and just took them and started walking away with them everybody started freaking out until they saw where they were walking too and that another dozen if not two dozen elves doors and humans that were their guardians we're basically saying try something you dumb ****

  Just because these two little old ladies had been in the king's home and been teaching them didn't mean that the people that followed them didn't have a science of respect duty and AI don't give a **** attitude they're the ones in charge even to the king some days because these women would follow those boys anywhere but because the boys are so young they always looked at the women and then said hey are they being **** and this is one of those moments where they weren't these ladies were pushing their way around and they knew it because they were going to have a quick talk with Max and in return give him some information

  The book actually started writing and it said who might you two ladies be

  We are the queen and the queen of the Guardians of the clan of coal and fire we accept our king's ruling and hereby fulfill it with information under the condition you continue the conversate with us once we have filled you in on the last 9000 years agreeable

  ?????

  Max: SURE! Lets play!

  And with that a click could be heard and I mean loud as hell coming from the book there is no mechanicals in this book how can it make the sound of a click

  But what happened was a little trapdoor in the book opened and because they were holding it a little doll fell out and this is no more than three centimeters tall and it was a little wizard in a cloak and a hat like a golden doll but it was blue dark dirty blue and they're like 0 what the hell and then it moved the damn doll moved

  As it started to get articulation back to its body it picked itself up dusted itself off and then looked around it then bowed and says for right now so that this conversation does not fill the book we will use this proxy and only relevant information will be saved in the book will that be acceptable ladies

  The crazier of the two ladies just grabbed the little doll up and gave it a little snuggle up to its cheek it's like oh you're so cute 0 here you go I literally dunked its head in her brandy when the doll came out it was holding its hat the hat was full of brandy I you could hear the hiccup like a bad joke come from the little doll as she set it down on the table they were sitting at on the coaster of the Teacup and not joking the little doll started to drink the booze out of the hat I just sat there going this is going to be fun

  The straighter of the two ladies razor the rock eyebrow if you know what I mean can you hear what she's not cooking at this little mini man

  Because he was so small and he was covered in cloth the little of his face and hands you could see it looked like AA dwarf a human and elf just you couldn't see enough and it was white fur slash hair

  They then moved this whole conversation into the king's cabin because while this got really weird really quick and even the two ladies that were trying to throw Max off got way thrown off by Max so yeah Touche Mister Max Touche

  The maximum effort talk

  Inside the cabin around the table was Larry the three little kings the three old timers the two very old ladies a couple of representatives from different groups that just wanted to listen and maybe say something if need be and that was really it

  The tool of ladies started to tell Max as much as they knew for last 9000 years and then only took about three minutes because truthfully they'd lost a lot and they were very broad strokes explaining that there was wars and then more wars and then something happened that we didn't know what it was and then people lost magic and then it came back and then there was more wars and then they had the big war and then they went from having violent wars to economic wars and from the last 9000 years they've been having different type of economic wars on and off and the last 900 years it's been a solid economic war if anything but they're basically all working together for almost 1000 years now if not more

  Max the little three centimeter tall figurine you could hear him perfectly no matter where you are standing so there was some heavy magic in this little figurine that moved

  Max waited and listened and kept drinking out of his hat he was quite drunk at this point and very happy to hear what he thought he knew but then he realized that it was still the same boring old stuff

  Mac said for that information I will let you know many many thousands of years ago before you recorded history your world was discovered by other races out there among the other stars and the other planets and the other things that are out there and from time to time you would open doors you're a solve to these other worlds and they would come from their world into yours and they would taint your world with either things like elves humans dwarves and every other creature on this planet we realized a long time ago that this planet was kind of the focal point of the last exit to the giant dimensional gateways that are out there it's just one of the arms of a solar system in a galaxy far far away but a lot of the times the things migrate to this planet and therefore you may find things that just don't make sense when that happens ask me and I'll try to explain as best I can I like having friends and after today I think we're gonna have a lot to talk about but as this construct is about to run out of energy if you would please be back in the back of the book and we will continue this conversation another day

  Before anybody could say anything the book actually stood up laid on its face down and the Little Hatchware Max had popped out of open back up with a click

  Like a hand was picking him up max put his hat on and his whole body just lifted up and was placed back in the book

  It was like someone was replacing him back in the book it was really weird but at the last moment before the door shut the little figurines up and said I had a fun time I hope we can all be friends and with that he laid down in the little hatch clothes and you couldn't tell it was there once it was locked

  Everybody was like that was weird right and there was like yeah that was weird and then the book said yeah that was weird

  The next day they all decided to have a meat and pastry day which is basically them saying screw it all and just stopping and taking a deep breath and a day off

  Or that's what they had planned well they don't normally have their plans go as planned so yeah who wants some adventure
