Making my way to the docking port, I checked my weapons making sure they were ready for a fight. Crew members nodded and gave a quiet greeting as I passed them. Walking up to the docking port Cal and his squad were doing their final gear checks as I approached. Looking at the assembled group I looked at the multitude of armor colors, they were Mandalorians like myself. Mandalorians are some of the best fighters in the galaxy, 100 of them can hold off several times their numbers and still come out with only a few casualties. I had a squad of five in my employ.
”Cal, are your men ready to go?” I asked
“Ready Cas. Here is your helmet.” Cal replied while handing me my helmet. It is a remake of a clone commandos helmet painted in the same color as my armor. “Thanks Cal.” I said as I put on my helmet. A slight hiss sounded as the helmet created a seal against my undersuit.
I felt a jolt as the ships docked together. “ Alright everyone, coms check.” I said as I pulled out my blaster. I got replies for them and they were coming in clear. “You know the rules, anyone who surrenders they get stunned and cuffed. Cal this is your show, we go on your order.”
Cal turned towards the airlock door and confirmed we had a seal to the Interceptor. He opened both doors and motioned one of the group forward to begin slicing into the pirates computer to grant us access. After a few moments the light on the pirate's outer door turned green. “ Concussion grenades ready, as soon as the door opens I want those grenades out of your hands.”
Stacking up on the sides of the door we all pulled the grenades of our belts and primed them, waiting for the door to slide open. Several tense moments passed, the door finally slid open with a quiet whoosh and we tossed the grenades. Six loud thumps echoed down the passage. I rushed in after the explosions and took a knee looking down the corridor, my blaster at the ready watching any threat. Hearing the rest of the squad come through the airlock,”Cas take two and move to the bridge, I will take the others and go to the engine room” Cal ordered.

I sent my acknowledgement and felt a hand on my shoulder stood up and made my way through the ship clearing rooms along the way. Going through the corridors we hardly encountered any resistance, I figured they were all amassed to protect the bridge and the engine room. As my group rounded the corner I saw that was right, ten pirates were waiting behind hastily constructed barriers, their blasters were all pointed at us and they opened fire. Red bolts of energy flew towards us, casting eerie shadows along their path. “Get back!” I ordered
We got back behind cover and took stock of our situation. “Did either of you see any heavy weapons?” I asked.
“No sir, looks like they just have small arms.” The Mando in blue armor said.
I turned on my helmet speakers “Stand down pirate scum, you don't need to die here. Lay down your weapons, you will be detained and handed over to the authorities.”
We heard loud arguing, it went on for a few minutes until we heard a blaster shot and a voice called back. “We surrender. We are throwing our weapons to you.”
Clattering echoed down the corridor, we all backed up just in case they were lying and threw grenades. Ten pistols and an assortment of vibro-blades came into view. See that we rounded the corner with our weapons up and approached the pirates. Nine of them were on their knees with their hands up and one was on the ground, with a smoking hole in his back. “Alright fellas we are going to stun you, then cuff you. Can't have you running around behind our backs.” I said as I made sure my blaster was set to stun.
They all nodded, and we proceeded with the task. It didn't take long for us to cuff and move them a little ways down the hall. We gathered back at the door and began to discuss how we were going to enter the bridge. “Sir I think we should slice the door instead of blowing it there might be hostages on the other side.” Tarin, the mando in blue armor said.
I nodded in agreement and motioned him to the access panel. He began to work his way into the doors control system, and within a couple of minutes he looked at me and nodded. I gave him the go ahead and he hit the open control. The door wooshed open and I saw something I didn't like. Fitz was by him-self, he was using a child as a shield with his blister pointed at their head
