Adrian lay on his bed quietly , listening to the buzzing mosquitoes in his room , they even seemed to bite him, but he did not seem to feel it for he had lost his mind was far away .The events continued replaying in his mind, from the very beginning until when, the general had opened a portal right where they had been and had asked him to go home .

  The sun rose with Adrian's eyes still open and he did not even notice , then he heard a knock on his door .

  " You have not yet come down to have breakfast and neither have you helped out with the chores are you okay ? " She asked .

  " I don't know ."Adrian answered .

  " Why is that ?" She asked .He let out a deep breath and spoke

  " You remember when I hallucinated sometime back ? "

  " Yeah , not once by the way you always hallucinate when you have malaria ."

  " I think I might be hallucinating again , this was the craziest night I ever had ." His mum looked at him and smiled .

  " What matters is that you are not sick , come and eat something you will need it." She told him . She looked at him and laughed , then stood up and left . Adrian let out a deep breath and stood, he had not slept the whole night , the shock still fresh . His long wished fantasies had now become reality but he still doubted and was going to declare himself mad . He slopped down the stairs and found his sister having breakfast, fried eggs, toasted bread and a cup of hot milk . Adrian sat down at the dining table and the same menu only a little heavy than expected was set before him .

  " Mum this is a lot . " Adrian complained .

  " You always surprise me , you have the heavy appetite , but you are being a hypocrite to your self . "

  " You have got to be kidding me. " Adrian answered fixing a fork in his food .

  " Just eat I figure you did not have any thing yesterday, you just spent the whole day sleeping . " She did not need to say it . Adrian felt the hunger rush to him the moment he started eating and before he knew it he was eating like a mad man . She placed three more slices of bread beside him and sat her self down in front of her toasted bread and then observed him . Adrian ate quietly aware of the observation but he decided to dedicate his thoughts , to his recent encounters and discoveries .

  " Me and Alex are not going to be around , we are going to my mother's. " She broke the silence as she bit through her crunchy bread crust .

  " What about me ? Are you planning to send me somewhere , too ? ."

  " No , you are staying here , your grandma asked for Alexa only , your time will come ." She told him .

  " So I will be checking on you once in a while , if I get the chance. " She added .

  " Okay ." Adrian answered reluctantly . They left and Adrian remained alone in the house . He sat quietly as he looked at the television , that was running a certain cooking show, one he only watched as he waited for the sports updates on the channel.

  " So passive ." A familiar voice said behind him . Adrian's heart almost leaped out of his chest as he heard Bu-kai's voice behind him . He walked from behind and then came to look at the television .

  " Cooking , I can't believe a boy your age is interested in playing around with mingling sticks and saucepans." He joked .

  "I was waiting for the sports news ."Adrian replied .

  "Anyway the time has come ." He told him.

  "Brace yourself because you are not seeing your mom.... for a very.....long ...time."

  " Isn't this a little rushed, I thought you had given me like a month?" The general moved closer to Adrian.

  " I don't think your opinion is any useful . Now we move ."
