  Day 10

I'm at their base. There are so many people, so many that just looking at so many faces makes me dizzy.

They practice their own martial art, one specifically designed to deal with the Black Demons. None of them seemed to match my strength nor speed. None of them know about these "powers" I possess.

One of them, who calls himself "Ingun, second commander of the king," introduced me to their leader and king, Anoker was his name. We had a civilized conversation, more like an exchange of information.

He didn't seem to know about the paintings in the cave. He says it's extremely dangerous to enter one.

He told me the history of this DesolateWorld

"I remember having a family close to me, a loving wife and beautiful children. All of that ended in the blink of an eye with the fall of the meteor, 'Urshta' was the name we gave to such a destroyer of lives. It arrived here 132 years ago. It brought disgrace to our planet, 'Gaia' was the name of our planet of peace. It destroyed our vegetation with its creatures of death, replaced it with towers of flesh and despair. With the monsters and the infernal structures came the fog, it blinded us from what we could see. I even think it was a blessing that we couldn't see what lies beyond it. We built this city to shelter ourselves from the creatures, we created our own way of fighting, our weapons, and our food."

Our conversation was suddenly interrupted by an invasion of the Black Demons.

I stood there, watching Anoker's thousands of warriors fight for their people while I looked at them with a blank expression. A wave of emotions hit me, however, the strongest was

  HATRED

I felt hatred for these horrendous creatures for killing people with families, people who were loved, who were cared of. These amalgamations were killing soldiers who thought they would go home and eat with their family.

I clenched my fists with all my might and shouted as I passed through them like a lightning:

"DO NOT GIVE UP THE BATTLE, WARRIORS! OUR LIVES DO NOT END HERE! WE WILL FIGHT FOR ALL ETERNITY IF NECESSARY TO STOP THESE CREATURES FROM HELL!"

Then, after hearing those words, the soldiers advanced with bravery and admiration towards me, shouting "For the glory of Arnunk!" as they advanced with more determination than ever. They were weak, yet agile. They seemed insignificant, but they were more precise than a lightning hitting a flower on a forest. Their faces exuded desperation, but their bodies were consumed by an overwhelming rage. I saw in them a discipline not to retreat, even if death was shouting them, "Your soul already has a place reserved in my kingdom," just three centimeters away from their faces.

I punched, I punched one of the Black Demons with such force that the vibration in the air made the obelisks crack and tremble. I exterminated every single one of them, I didn't stop at any moment, not even their corrosive blood stopped me. Anoker looked at me with a look of weariness and admiration. His soldiers looked at me with respect and terror. They feared me, but they knew, I was their only hope.

  Day 14

I fought for 4 days against them, alone. When I reached the door, I knocked weakly.

  Pain

I felt pain for the first time since I woke up on this Desolate When the fog dissipated, I was there, healed.

  Day 17

I've been training in the martial art of the people of Arnunk. It's strangely difficult; its movements focus on agility, since the people here don't have enough strength, and mainly on the precision of their attacks, since the organs inside the Black Demons don't stay still, they move, but there is a slight change in their skin, allowing one to locate the position of the vital organs. They call the way they fight as "Xarq Khonan", they told me it means "The Way of God." Their largest training school is in the center of the city; its name is "Anti-Demonic X.K. School". I also taught them some movements they could use on the creatures

  Day 22

I was promoted to "Master of Xarq Khonan, fifth Hark" by the king. Anoker showed me more of Arnunk. They had underground plantations of some kind of fungi; even though they looked disgusting when they are born, they form an incredibly delicious dish.

He asked for me to come with him to help on the exploration after i finished eating. I accepted politely, what else could i do her except teach and learn X.K?

We are traveling through the devastated lands in search of other caves with some more soldiers.

  Day 24

We found one with more cave paintings. These seemed to be older, dating from times before the glory of Gaia. They look like after the fall of Urshta. They spoke of the fall of God; perhaps they are talking about the meteor.

There were also symbols that were familiar, yet unknown to me.

We will head back to Arnunk tomorrow morning.
