"I only have eight left," said the blonde-haired soldier. He slowly panted as he looked up towards the remaining humans, locking eyes with the long blonde-haired woman. Her presence alone was enough for him to keep going and pass this tribulation.
Everyone watching the tribulation was looking with awe in their eyes. The soldier that fighting was pretty strong in most of their eyes. Some people there wished they could reach this level of power and the soldier had yet to use his full power. They were all cheering for him and screaming encouraging words.
He took note of everyone and fought for the long blonde-haired woman as well as himself and all of his friends and those he considered his family.
He stared at the humans when suddenly, one of them vanished as if they teleported. It was the teen girl with green hair. She teleported behind him and when he sensed her, it was too late for him to counterattack.
"Too slow," said coldly by the green-haired girl as the bright green aura radiated from her. She swung a sword but the soldier ducked, losing half of his hair from the swing of her blade. He tried swinging his sword on instinct but his arm was stopped by another force. What held his arm in place was the teen boy with blue hair. A light blue aura was radiating off of him and a menacing smile cracked on his face and his eyes widened.
The blonde-haired man panicked as he was caught in between two second awakening humans. Judging by their power releasing from their aura, they were as strong as the white-haired man and they seemed to be holding back power.
"He's in a troubling situation, how would you get out of this Aniya?" Said the bald headed man.
She cracked a laugh, "You're right Ajax, troubling indeed. It really depends on what type of abilities you have that would help you escape. I assume you want a general explanation that isn't based off of that. In that situation, I would simply go off of my instinct so I truly can't tell you."
"On one hand you have one girl who can teleport and on the other hand you have a boy with unknown abilities. The best thing would be for them to draw out their abilities so you can gain a better knowledge on what to do and how to escape but against a user that can teleport, that's virtually impossible. It being a two on one situation doesn't make it any better for him. You got this Ray."
Although Aniya wasn't truly exceptional when it comes thinking in the midst of battle, she wasn't bad. She has never been in battle as much as other people have so she wasn't the best option to ask.
"Personally, I would kick away the girl and throw the boy to gain more distance. Of course throwing away the girl would make her teleport towards you so the best option would be to keep one of them away and try to fight one at a time. That of course would mean keeping the boy away from you as much as possible since the girl would never be away from you due to teleportation. Nonetheless like you said, the two-on-one situation doesn't make it any better nor does the fact that their abilities are unknown," responded Ajax.
"Teleportation!? Is that an ability for everyone?" said Rhosa. Rhitta looked toward Ajax and Aniya as if she wanted to ask the same question and was waiting for a response.
"I'm only in the second awakening and I don't have the ability to do it yet so I would assume not," responded Aniya. She always thought the ability to teleport was a good ability to have, it would be useful in a variety of situations.
Ray was stuck in a troubling situation. The girl appeared by him in an instant and the boy also came while he wasn't focused. He wasn't used to two-on-one situations so he was going to wing it. He moved his legs and wrapped them around the green-haired girl throwing her further into the air. He knew he had a small amount of time to do something as she would only teleport back to him. He was simply going to go off of his knowledge of battle.
As the blue-haired boy held his arm, Ray spread his legs in his left and right direction as if he was doing a split. He figured with his legs in both directions, the girl would think the best option is to teleport in front of him. His intuition was right, the green-haired girl teleported in front of him with her sword in hand. She lunged it towards his torso but Ray used his other arm to perform a shoulder throw. The throw flipped the blue-haired boy in front of him to get pierced by the sword, however the boy was only scraped and cut by the sword.

Ray pushed the boy into the girl and kicked in order to gain maximum distance from the both of them. A smile cracked on his face.
"This is about to be interesting, maybe I'm gonna have to give it my all before the tribulation is over with," said Ray. If he went all out, he felt he would be able to defeat the both of them but it would be costly due to the drainage of power and stamina. Especially since he still has 6 more to fight after them two. Assuming they don't interfere.
He started cracking his bones and used the battojutsu technique from earlier. The boy and the girl weren't in range so they thought it would be useless. Ray gathered synergy in his sword and unsheathed his sword, sending a ray of synergy flying towards the boy and the girl. The boy covered his arms in synergy to block the attack and the girl teleported away. Ray expected her to teleport behind him and to his guess, he was right.
As she teleported behind him, his hand was already in motion from unsheathing his sword, so he kept it in motion and swung his arm back to pierce the green-haired girl. Blood burst out as his sword stabbed her in the side of her body. It wasn't a severe vital area that was stabbed but nonetheless, it was a start to winning the battle. The boy smiled while looking in the sky and started laughing hysterically. Suddenly the aura surrounding him exploded. It grew bigger and bigger and his power kept growing and growing. The synergy in his body was rotating at an extremely high speed.
He stopped laughing and then suddenly looked at Ray. The green haired girl had teleported away the moment she was stabbed and stayed behind the blue haired-boy
"You're going to die," said the blue-haired boy. It was as if the heavens was speaking to him through the boy.
"Combine...fuse...resonate," calmly said the boy. The boy's body started to slowly fade as it turned into mist. The mist flew into the green-haired girl who absorbed all of it. The stab wound on her body closed and healed up. Her eyes widened as the boy fused with her. The fusion of their soul made her inherit his personality as well as his abilities.
A huge aura bursted from the green-haired girl. The aura expanded greatly. It was as if the aura was layered with two different colors. The first aura that surrounded the green-haired girl was her green aura and around her green aura was the light blue aura of the boy. The power of the girl greatly increased.
The aura gradually decreased in size and she let out a sigh. Then she vanished. This wasn't teleportation. This was pure speed. The fusion of her and the blue-haired boy greatly increased her speed. She appeared in front of him and punched into his stomach, sending Ray flying away and making him cough up a huge amount of blood. He wasn't too sure what it was, but an organ in his body ruptured from that punch.
She was moving too fast for him to react, at least with him holding back. The only way he would be able to make it out of this alive would be if he went all out. That was his only option or he wouldn't make it to fight the rest. His full power was needed or he would die.
He coughed up more blood and steadied himself. He smiled as the blood went down his mouth onto his chin. Those thoughts flooded his head. The thoughts of dying. If he went all out he wouldn't be able to make it against the rest of them. Despite his emotions flooding through his mind and the encouraging words of the spectating soldiers, his power could only take him so far. Words of encouragement and emotions wouldn't let you get through everything. There's always a limit to something.
He spit out the remaining blood in his mouth and threw his sword to the side which fell down and eventually hit the ground. He held out his hand and a bo staff appeared. This was the weapon that he trained with. He was truly going to go all out.
"I'm coming." Said the green-haired girl. Her voice was two voices. Her voice overshadowed the second one which echoed her words but it was in the voice of the blue-haired boy.
The green-haired girl and Ray's aura's exploded. This was two second awakening beings fighting at full power. Their auras encompassed their bodies like it were buildings. Their auras grew big and clashed sending sparks of a green-blue aura and a black aura flying everywhere.
They dashed towards each other as the sword of the green-haired girl and Ray's staff, clashed with each other sending sparks due to the collision. The girl put her right hand down as if her palm was touching a floor and did a sweep kick. Ray jumped in the air, avoiding it while spinning his staff, and swung down on where the girl was.
She slightly rolled to side, enough to avoid it and swung her leg up in a kicking motion that connected to Ray's chin. That kick made his face look into the sky. She jumped up in a twisting motion and sent her leg kicking directly into the side of Ray's body.
Ray was too slow to block the hit and was sent a couple feet away. He grabbed his side in pain. He smiled and he truly knew, he would die in this tribulation. He looked down at everyone watching and smiled as they looked back. He wasn't going to give up, not until he came face to face with her. No matter what, he was going to see her one last time.
He spit out more blood that fell down the sky.
He put on a crazed smile and looked the green-haired girl directly in her eyes. What came out of his mouth next was enough to make the green-haired girl put on a smile of an insane person. The same menacingly smile the blue-haired boy had when he started to laugh hysterically. This was a declaration against the heavens by Ray.
Ray's eyes widened and he said one thing...
"You're going to die!"
A declaration of war against the heavens!! Will Ray manage to beat the green-haired girl who is the fusion of two or will he perish and have his soul become apart of tribulation!?
