Trapped Dwarf #1

The horse galloped swiftly, and the gentle breeze made me feel at ease. Isabella sat beside me, gazing ahead with sparkling eyes. I began to relax, even dozing off due to the pleasant journey.

Suddenly, Isabella shouted loudly. "Master, look!"

I snapped out of my reverie and followed her gaze. A pack of wolves was chasing something in the distance. I saw a small figure running swiftly, trying to evade the wolves' attacks. As they drew closer, I realized the figure was a dwarf. The dwarf ran quickly, but the wolves were gaining on him.

Isabella and I exchanged a glance.

"We have to help that dwarf!" I exclaimed to Isabella.

  "Yes, Master," Isabella replied, nodding.

I said, "This is just the beginning."

I immediately dismounted and ran into the forest. I shouted loudly, "Hey, make a sound! We want to know where you are!"

A faint response came from afar. "Help, I'm over here."

A dwarf came into view, surrounded by a pack of wolves. The wolves seemed familiar to me.

"Please, help me," the dwarf whimpered in pain.

I rushed to his side, blocking the wolves' path. "Don't worry, I'm here."

Isabella approached the dwarf. "I think his ankle is sprained, Master."

I turned to her. "Is that true? Can you help him?"

"I think so. I can heal the pain and the injury, but it will take some time," Isabella replied.

I nodded. "Alright, please heal him."

The alpha male wolf let out a loud howl in front of me. "Auuuuuu~"

The omega wolves joined in, and I realized something. "Isabella, do you recognize them? Aren't they—"

Isabella quickly interrupted. "Yes, they're the same pack of wolves from back then."

The alpha wolf gazed at me with a piercing stare. "Grrrgrrr" It growled menacingly.

They prepared to attack, and I dodged swiftly, punching one of the omega wolves and sending it tumbling.

"First one down," I said with a hint of a smile.

I began to control the roots from the ground, shaking the earth and making the wolves stumble. I seized the opportunity to attack the alpha wolf.

However, the omega wolves quickly defended their alpha, and I had to fend off their attacks. I managed to take down one of the omega wolves, and I stood up, ready for the next challenge.

The alpha wolf approached me cautiously, but before we could clash, a bullet flew swiftly towards its vital spot. The alpha wolf collapsed instantly, and the omega wolves cowered in fear.

I turned to see the dwarf, Charlotte, who had fired the shot. "Perfect shot," I praised. "You're quite skilled."

"Of course, I'm Charlotte, the best marksman in my region," Charlotte replied with a smile.

I was impressed. "Haha, I like your style. Can you teach me sometime?"

"Sure thing. Since you helped me, I owe you one. By the way, can you teach me how to control roots like that? It's amazing," Charlotte said.

  I smiled. "Haha, sure thing."

Isabella asked Charlotte, "Hey, Charlotte, how did you end up here?"

"Oh, I got separated from my friends. They went somewhere, and I followed them. I got careless, and this happened," Charlotte explained.

I smiled and invited Charlotte to join us. "Hey Charlotte, want to come with us?"
