Chapter 28: Storage Bag

  Chapter 28: Storage Pouch

  "Not true!"

Just rushed out of the outer cave, Li Chen's mind flashed back to the huge gray shadow he saw just now, carefully turned around and went back, and didn't breathe a sigh of relief until he could see clearly again.

This cave is at least twice smaller than the outside, with a huge bulge of rock occupying almost half of it. On top of that, there is an enormous snow-white beast skeleton, more than twice as large as an iron-backed bear, which is what scared Lei Chen away.

Looking at the beast's skeletal shape, with a pair of dark green sharp horns that were over two feet long at the forehead, Li Chen was certain that this was an unknown bovine demon.

Judging from its physique, it's at least mid-second-order or even late-stage to peak, as for above that, Li Chen didn't dare think about it. Just the aura emanating from this skeleton made him feel suffocated.

  "Round stone!"

Li Chen's eyes flashed, and he quickly stepped forward, pulling out a crystal that emitted a faint blue-white glow from the golden dry grass under the skeleton's abdomen.

He pulled down all the withered grass on it, gathered it into a heap, and threw it into the fire. Suddenly the whole cave was bright with flames.

Carefully searched every corner of this giant stone, found nearly thirty yuan stones, but about half of them had a dull luster, apparently absorbed by the iron-backed bear.

There was also a short dagger with a two-palm-long blade. When it was unsheathed, the cold light flashed, as if there was a blade energy emanating from it.

"Divine soldiers! Now we don't have to worry anymore!"

Li Chen was surprised and couldn't understand why. As far as he knew, the martial arts weapons were divided into three categories: Jing Bing, Ling Bing, and Bao Bing. The one that could emit its own energy blade was obviously a Ling Bing.

Da Song let out a breath of relief and began to search carefully. In one corner of the cave, which was tens of meters in diameter, he saw a scattered human skeleton with torn clothes and a faint glow flickering around it.

He had seen no small number of dead people and was not afraid of skeletons.

  "What is this?"

Li Chen's figure flashed, and he came to the front, carefully looking at the scattered and unrecognizable bones, inside which was a dark green scale armor, but on the chest, there was a neat hole.

He stretched out his hand and made a gesture, and Li Chen suddenly turned his head to look at the sharp corner of the cow-shaped skeleton, which was about the same size as it. It's not hard to imagine that the owner of this skeleton probably died under the horns of this cow many years ago, and it's even possible that both parties were killed in the battle.

Under the light of the flames, Li Chen discovered that on the cow's head, there was a palm print one inch deep. Looking again at the human skeleton's arm, it was broken inch by inch, and on the finger bones of the hand, there were still several joints of a glove-like object that had not been completely destroyed. The glove on the left hand was relatively intact.

"My senior's body was exposed here, and I, a junior, have come to pay my respects. Today, I've arrived at this place, and it's also fate. I'll bury his remains and give him a proper rest. All worldly possessions are useless; I'll just consider it as paying off a debt!"

Li Chen bowed respectfully to the skeleton and made three bows, without hesitation, he removed the clothes, armor and gloves from the skeleton, even the two broken finger sleeves were not spared, apparently this was the key.

  Hmph!

A faint rustling sound, and Li Chen, who was about to gather up the bones, looked down to see a small, dusty pouch, roughly the size of a palm, which had apparently gone unnoticed amidst the pile of tattered clothes.

Bending down to pick it up, it feels extremely light in hand, no different from an ordinary cloth bag, but there is a hint of coolness flashing by, not like ordinary fabric.

He casually pulled it down, and what surprised Li Chen was that the pocket didn't change at all. With his strength, even if there were ten layers of fabric overlapping, they would have been torn in two.

Staring at the burlap sack for a while, Li Chen's hand involuntarily twitched the fine cord tied around its mouth, still not moving. A flash of inspiration suddenly lit up his mind, and his breathing became rapid for several minutes, even more excited than when he discovered the yuan stone.

He tossed the burlap sack into the bonfire, and the bones inside clattered to the ground, but he didn't care, his eyes fixed intently on the sack in the flames.

"Sent, sent, firm as refined gold, water and fire cannot invade, could it be a storage pouch?"

Only the cloth bag in the fire was seen, without any change. Li Chen didn't care about the scorching heat and grabbed the cloth bag from the fire with one hand, excitedly jumping up and down.

This is actually the legendary storage bag, which contains a small space that can hide objects from view. It is a must-have treasure for high-ranking warriors, and only those who have reached the True Self Realm can open it with their true energy.

Jumped for a while, strongly suppressing the excitement in his heart, reluctantly stuffed the storage bag into his arms and hid it close to his body, took a few deep breaths, put the skeleton back together, and buried it outside the cave.

"It's all up to you now!"

In the revolving cave, Li Chen gazed at the two sharp horns on the cow's skull, a hint of excitement flashing in his eyes.

Such a powerful horn is absolutely the best material for refining arms, and there's no reason to give it up.

He drew out the ordinary sword dagger from his waist, a small cluster of grayish light, which looked extremely sharp, was the self-emitted aura blade of the ordinary soldier.

A cold gleam flashed by, a metallic clang rang out, and sparks flew in all directions as iron met steel. Even though Li Chen had mentally prepared himself early that morning, he still jumped at the hardness of this solitary horn.

  Crack!

After spending a moment, I finally dug up two green horns from the roots, with sharp and unmatched pointed angles, which can even be used as weapons directly.

"It's not suitable to stay here for long, we've lingered for so long, and the big commotion earlier might attract other adventurers!"

Without daring to linger, he wrapped up two green horns and slanted them on his back, and Li Chen hurried towards the cave entrance.

  Wow!

As soon as he approached the entrance of the cave, Li Chen's face changed drastically. He looked at the incoming figure and threw a punch without hesitation.

  "Ah!"

That person was caught off guard and took a punch to the chest, letting out a pained cry as he tumbled out of the cave entrance.

  "Not good!"

Li Chen's feet didn't stop, and with a flash of light in front of him, he exited the cave. However, he saw a figure flickering not far away, already approaching from the near side. He gritted his teeth and rushed back inside.

At this point, wanting to rush out is no longer possible. Adventurers who can enter this place must have extraordinary cultivation. Only by finding an exit from the inside can they escape.

  "Boss, over here!"

Under the stone wall, a sly and cunning monk of about thirty years old, with a thin build, suddenly turned his head and shouted loudly as he caught sight of Li Chen's back.

  "Chase!"

That big man was a middle-aged Han with a medium build, but an extremely robust physique. A scar ran across his right cheek, and upon hearing the words, he swung his large hand and suddenly leapt up.

Behind him, there were seven or eight adventurers wearing leather armor. They were all seasoned adventurers who had been lurking around the outskirts of the ancient mountain range. Judging from the degree of grass leaf breakage on the ground and the unintentional friction marks on the surface of the rocks, they could easily determine the direction of the comings and goings.

After a while, three more people came to this place, searched in vain, and followed the traces left by this group of adventurers. There were dozens of people coming and going.

These people are all seasoned adventurers, with extremely rich experience, numerous in number, and their traces are very obvious, without any mistake in direction.

  "Terrible, I've been hanged!"

His sleeves fluttering, Li Chen unfolded his Wind Steps to the extreme, his body like a spirit snake, darting through the dense forest and jagged rocks, leaving behind only a flash of green shadow, as if a ghost had passed.
