Chapter 3 The star child is born.

“HOLY SHIT ROBERT’S FIRST PRO MATCH ENDS IN A KNOCKOUT!!!” The announcer screamed! Robert put his hand in the air for everyone to see, he didn’t realize till now just how full the stadium was, at least three hundred people were sitting in the stadium. Coby and Sully started to cheer so loud that their dead relatives could hear them and the rest of the stadium chimed in. Andrew and Joseph ran into the ring and hugged Robert. Buck’s coaches all ran in to check on him. Buck awoke after getting water sprayed on him.

Robert could hear Buck's main coach yell at him to stay lying down, Robert turned around to see Buck staring at him. Robert walked over to him and held out his hand. and said,

“Thank you for such a good fight tonight. I can't wait to meet again.” Buck stood there glaring at him. Robert was starting to feel uneasy until Buck grabbed a hold of his arm and gave him a one-arm hug.

“Y’ALL HERE THIS IS THE MAN THAT WILL BECOME EAST CENTRAL CITY'S CHAMPION!” Buck pointed at Robert with his open arm and hand. Everyone cheered harder for Robert. Robert and Buck left the ring Shortly after that and rested up in their respective locker rooms. Coby and Sully waited out in the back alleyway for Robert and the others,

“YOU DID AWESOME, ROBERT!” Joseph cheered.

“It was a half-decent win,” Andrew told Robert.

“IT WAS AWFUL!” Mike roared “YOU WERE SLOPPY YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TAKEN ANY BLOWS AT ALL!!!” He started to hit Robert repeatedly Andrew and Joseph had to pull Mike off of Robert. “I SUSPECT THAT FROM SULLY NOT YOU!”

“Yeah I’m sorry, Gramps it won’t happen again,” Robert said, rubbing his head after taking several punches from his grandfather.

His grandfather calmed down and with a sigh of disappointment said: “It’s fine a win is a win but I don’t want to see it happen again, YOU GOT ME!” Robert nodded “Good now pack up, IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE!” Mike, Andrew, and Joseph all left the room after picking up their gear and left Robert alone. Robert walked over to the mirror to see himself bleeding from a cut on his cheek, slightly bloody, and a black eye. He thought to himself “I loved this.” He gained a large smile and his eye lit up like a star in the night sky.

He walked out into the back alleyway and saw everyone waiting. Robert had gotten changed out of his boxing clothes and into a tank top with an unzipped hoodie and some black sweatpants. The summer air was the perfect temperature out that night. Coby was giving him a huge double thumbs up while Sully walked over and gave him one of the oldest high fives he ever received, it had woken up a couple of dogs nearby.

They all started to walk behind Mike, for Robert’s victory, Mike decided to take all of them out for dinner. It was a fancy cook-your-own steak restaurant with the name, Stevens Steaks. When they walked into the restaurant they skipped a line that was a block long. There was a girl at the front desk talking to one of the groups in line. It was a bunch of gang members from the Eastern Eagles.

“Not these guys again,” Sully mumbled. Two large men came walking out of the curtains. They both had tattoos of Stink cheese on their necks. They both grabbed a hold of two each and threw them out; they nodded to Coby and went back behind the curtains. “Your dad protects this place?” Sully asked Coby

“Looks like it.” He responded nonchalantly, Mike walked up to the host stand and she asked.

“Are you here for a reservation or a walk-in?” She wore a black and white striped outfit with black curly hair, very appealing facial features, and dark green eyes. She has very white skin and is of Asian descent, and she has very curvy hips with a smaller chest.

“We have a reservation for tonight under the name Mike Sheil.” He told her, She nodded, grabbed six menus, and started to walk to a large booth. They all sat down and took a look at the menu which only consisted of different steaks. After a half hour of looking at the menu, they all ordered. “So Robert there is one thing I picked up on while you were boxing and it made your boxing match so much less interesting,” Coby said.

  “What?” Robert asked, sounding offended.

“You have no walk-out music! It makes for something more exciting while you walk out and when you raise your fist into the air it has less effect on the crowd. Except for me and Sully of course because we knew the meaning behind it.” Sully nodded in agreement with Coby’s statement, Robert facepalm thinking it was something of importance, Joseph and Andrew both laughed, and Mike scolded Coby and told him it didn’t matter.

Robert put great thought into it and decided his walk-out song should be something that has a powerful beat and an intensity that matches his galaxy-themed gear and commanding presence. The food had arrived and they began to chow down after Mike had cooked it. All an hour had passed and they all got up to leave but Coby was stopped by the hostess.

Sully and Robert stayed behind with Coby while the others went home for the night. “Hi, sorry to bother you but is your name Coby?”

“Yeah, that’d be me.” Coby responded, “Why do you ask?”

She ran over to him and gave him a tight hug. Coby turned to look at Robert and Sully for help, they both had a look on their face of surprise and were unable to help. Coby’s shirt began to feel wet when he looked down and her face was covered in tears. “WOAH, MISS ARE YOU OK!?!” Coby shouted confused. “DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?”

“No, you didn't, these are tears of happiness.” She told him and let go of him “My name is Tasha.” She has black curly hair, very appealing facial features, and dark green eyes. She has very white skin and she is of Asian descent, she has very curvy hips with a smaller chest. “Your father helped my family a long time ago.” Years ago, way before Coby was born and his father wasn’t the head of their gang, Tasha's great-grandparents had moved into East Central City from overseas.
