Chapter 11: Mysterious Iron Inner Garment (1)
After dinner, in the courtyard of Pong Hai, he chatted with Pong Hai for a while. Chang Sheng then returned to his own courtyard, first closing the gate and then activating the anti-disturbance array.
He took off the Yang Sword tied to his back and placed it aside, then began to perform the physical training techniques that his master had taught him, doing various extreme movements to exercise his body.
This set of exercises is divided into four sections and 36 movements, which can effectively exercise all parts of the body. When I first learned this set of exercises, Chang Sheng could be said to have suffered a lot. Because some of the movements are very difficult to do, often in order to complete one movement, the joints will ache for a long time.
Chang Sheng learned under Yan Long's guidance and correction for four whole days before he could basically grasp the entire routine's key points and standards. Although Yan Long did not supervise Chang Sheng afterwards, Chang Sheng did not relax in the slightest and continued to strictly demand of himself to perfectly execute this set of physical training techniques.
Because of doing this set of exercises, the benefits are obvious. Every morning when getting up, you will feel full of energy and strength all over your body. Moreover, this strength increases visibly every day in a slow way.
The first section of the exercise is considered a warm-up, and after a series of nine movements, the entire skeletal system begins to relax and heat up. The second section is considered hot-blooded, and after a series of nine movements, the blood throughout the body becomes boiling hot and flows rapidly through the meridians. The third section is considered tempering, and after a series of nine movements, the skeletal system crackles and pops. The fourth section is considered extreme, where the limbs and joints are twisted, wrapped, and bent to the limits of the body.
Overall, this set of exercises is extremely miraculous. Every time Chang Sheng's body reaches its limit, the external heavenly spiritual energy will automatically follow the pores and enter the whole body, allowing Chang Sheng's body to adapt to this limit, making Chang Sheng surpass this limit and challenge the next limit!
After a set of exercises, Chang Sheng only felt his whole body sore and weak, dragging his tired body into the house, making an effort to climb onto the bed. He lay on his side, his left hand covering his navel, his right hand pressing against his ear, taking a deep breath, exhaling three times in succession before falling asleep.
This unique sleep method is called "Turtle Shell Technique". It was also passed down by Flame Dragon to Chang Sheng. Through this sleeping posture and breathing rate, it can enhance the body's various functions, effectively relieving physical fatigue and mental exhaustion. This is also the reason why Chang Sheng can wake up refreshed and energized every day after a tiring day.
And just like that, a month flew by.
In this month, Changsheng spent every day very fulfilling. In the morning, he would go to eat breakfast with Pang Hai, then go to Chuan Gong Tang to learn some methods of tempering his body, or go to Cang Shu Ge to find some knowledge of cultivating Taoism to enrich himself. After lunch, Pang Hai would return to his own courtyard to ponder the Taoist skills.
While Chang Sheng would come to the martial arts arena and follow Yan Long out of the palace, arriving at the waterfall in the dense forest outside the temple to continue tempering his body and developing the remaining medicinal effects hidden in his dantian. At dinner time, he would meet with Pang Hai at the entrance of the cafeteria, and after dinner, the two would gather together to chat before returning to their respective courtyards to rest.
