Chapter 8 Crazy Training
With great effort, Wu Xiaotian climbed onto the bed. Now he didn't care about anything, whether it was zombies or doomsday, all of that could wait. All he wanted to do was sleep for a while.
Outside the window, it was still raining heavily, and the low-lying areas had already become a swamp. However, the zombies were still wandering aimlessly, seemingly unaware of their surroundings. It was as if even the thunder god in the sky couldn't care less about them, and from time to time, some zombies would get struck by lightning, ending up crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The heavy rain seemed to have little effect on the zombies, who continued to roam around, driven solely by their instincts. As long as they caught a whiff of blood or heard any noise, they would charge towards it frantically, regardless of whether there was prey or if they themselves would become the hunted.
Unlike the zombies who don't care, plants are very happy. The years of drought have made them suffer enough. They usually drink polluted water and the scorching sun has left them on the verge of death. But this heavy rain can quench their thirst and provide them with a special fertilizer that makes some ordinary plants grow exceptionally strong and tall. In order to get more water, sunlight and special fertilizer in the future, all the plants are stretching out their bodies to get as much as they can.
Compared to the plants, some insects and animals are not too fond of it, hiding in dry places. However, there are also some more mischievous and unruly animals that venture out onto the streets. Carnivores have no restraints, attacking prey on the streets that won't hide. Herbivores, on the other hand, see the lush plant growth and rush to graze.
Slow-moving carnivores are occasionally killed by those crazy humans, but still, they charge forward without hesitation. The herbivorous tribe found that some of their companions would silently disappear, and gradually all the herbivores didn't like to go where they could find delicious food.
In this apocalyptic world, humans, animals and plants all struggle. If you want to live a good life, then please strive to evolve.
Wu Xiaotian had been lying in bed for two days, never getting up, never snoring, only faint breathing sounds.
The sky was not being kind, a loud thunder woke up Wu Xiaotian, as if it were saying "Never be lazy again."
Soaking in the bathtub, Wu Xiaotian looked at his body in surprise. His right shoulder had clearly been torn off a piece of flesh, but now there was no wound on his right shoulder. The white and tender skin on his shoulder would drive women crazy before the apocalypse. On his waist, only a strip of white skin could be seen. His left hand was left with a few points of tender skin.
Reflecting on his own battle two days ago, he found that he had made too many mistakes. No! It couldn't be called a mistake, it was already an error.
Firstly, the first problem was that I was too careless. If I had observed the zombie family's suite more carefully, I would have noticed that the door wasn't locked from the start. Secondly, entering the room without confirming how many zombies were inside showed that I was too impulsive. Thirdly, there was a problem with my weapon - if I had continued using the Tang knife, I wouldn't have become flustered when killing the first zombie in the suite. Also, I might not be suited for using a shield; at the time, I wasn't aware of it, so I didn't feel anything, and while doing Thomas' spin move, my left hand was dislocated by the steel plate. If I had still been conscious at that point, I wouldn't have ended up taking such a leisurely bath. Fourthly, footwork is crucial - it saved me twice.
Secondly, it's the zombie problem. Firstly, ordinary zombies are very stupid, they only know how to move forward. If they knew how to retreat, they would have died N times already. Moreover, zombies can only push but not pull. Secondly, killing all zombies does not guarantee obtaining evolution energy. The previous few zombies I killed did not yield any evolution energy, but the last one did. Thirdly, obtaining energy does not necessarily mean you can evolve. This time, I obtained more energy than the first time, but I didn't feel any obvious changes except that my left hand became more agile.
In summary, first, I must carefully observe every place from now on. Second, never act impulsively, think before acting. Third, abandon the shield and long-handled axe. Fourth, practice dance steps diligently, any dance step must be practiced.
After thinking about all this, Wu Xiaotian climbed out of the bathtub and was caught off guard by a cool breeze as he was putting on his pants.
"It's really cool when the wind blows under your pants" said while changing clothes and mocking this crazy weather.
He picked up the Tang knife that had been washed and dried, carefully examining it for any problems. With a "ding" sound, the Tang knife was unsheathed and found to have no gaps on the blade. Only then did he put his mind at ease.
What's good if you don't hold a shield in your left hand? Just as Wu Xiaotian was thinking, a game suddenly appeared in his mind - Arad Senki (this is the Japanese name, familiar friends know what game it is). Among them, one of the occupations of the swordsman uses dual knives (actually skills, plot requirements, oh yeah!). For two-sword style!
Immediately ran to the parents' room to find a machete, this machete was actually a hidden knife, which was bought by myself when I was in high school to help a friend. As a result, it was discovered by the teacher and confiscated, and at graduation, it was directly handed over to Wu Xiaotian's father.
This Tibetan sword belongs to the long sword category of Tibetan swords. The overall length is 103 cm, the blade length is 80 cm and the handle length is 23 cm.
The weapon is ready, so let's start training.
The former steel shield is now carried on his back when loaded. Several rectangular iron blocks are wrapped around his feet.
Because it's still raining heavily now, Wu Xiaotian moved all the things in the living room except for the TV and TV cabinet to the rooftop. The living room is now his training room.
Silently calculating the distance, seven kilometers, eight kilometers, ten kilometers...
Exhausted, lying down like a dog, but 10 minutes later, thanks to his strong recovery ability. His physical strength also recovered relatively quickly, so he started practicing knife skills in a horse stance. He practiced the eight essential knife techniques: 998 slashes, 978 chops, 978 sweeps, 978 cuts, 978 slices, 978 pokes, 978 stabs, and 978 thrusts. Wu Xiaotian wouldn't stop until he had practiced each technique over 2,000 times.
Then, the most important dance move in Wu Xiaotian's heart began. If a more passionate song was broadcast on TV, Wu Xiaotian would start swinging his twin blades with jazz dance steps underfoot. If it was more elegant, then it would be waltz steps. If it was explosive music, Wu Xiaotian would break into disco. However, if it was younger music, only then would Wu Xiaotian put down the frost blade in his hand and start breaking out street dance moves.
He would never forget that if it weren't for his knife and dance steps, he would now only exist in the belly of a zombie.
After dinner, started squatting in a horse stance playing games, still two games as dull as ever.
After playing games, start physical training, 1000 push-ups, 1000 sit-ups, 1000 deep squats and so on.
After nearly extreme training, every time he was so tired that he couldn't lift a finger, there would be a surge of heat in his body, allowing Wu Xiaotian to recover his strength within 10 minutes. Then start the next training item.
Every day's training intensity is increasing, and the extreme training has caused Wu Xiaotian's strength to increase rapidly.
