Chapter 33: It’s Not Like You Haven’t Slept With Me Before

  xiaoxingxing

On the way, the two of them remained silent after exchanging only a few words at the beginning.

Shao Wenbai was driving his usual commuter car today. Perhaps sensing her mood wasn’t great, he maintained a steady pace, neither too fast nor too slow.

When they arrived at the vil district, the security guard at the entrance greeted Su Yumian.

"Miss Su, it’s been a while since I st saw you. Have you been on a business trip?"

Su Yumian responded with a faint smile but didn’t say anything. Shao Wenbai gnced at her profile but didn’t press for an answer. They silently reached the vil’s entrance, and Shao Wenbai pulled over.

"Please wait for me for a moment. I’ll just grab my books and be right out." With that, Su Yumian stepped out of the car.

  "Do you need my help?"

She shook her head. "No need, it's not much. I can handle it myself." Then, she walked toward the vil.

She rang the doorbell, and Aunt Wang’s voice came from inside. "Coming, coming!"

Upon seeing her, Aunt Wang excimed in surprise, "Miss Su—"

  You’re finally back!

Su Yumian smiled and expined, "I’m just here to grab some things…"

  "You’re here?"

Before she could finish speaking, Jiang Yihuai, dressed in pajamas as if he had just woken up, stood upstairs, arms crossed, looking down at her with a smirk.

"You came alone? Can you carry everything?"

Holding a cup of coffee, he gazed at her coldly.

"As long as I take them away, right? Whether I can carry them or not is my problem."

She replied indifferently and headed straight for the study. As she passed by Jiang Yihuai, he followed.

Inside the study, the books were neatly sorted and ready to be packed. Su Yumian took out a rge woven bag and carefully pced them inside, one by one.

Jiang Yihuai leaned against a cabinet nearby, watching as she exhausted herself but refused to ask for his help. It took her ten minutes to pack everything. Just as she tied up the bag and prepared to leave, Jiang Yihuai suddenly snapped.

Cursing under his breath, he kicked the pile of books aside and grabbed her shoulders. "Su Yumian, do you not see me standing here?! What do you take me for? I asked you to come back before, and you refused no matter what. But now, for a few damn books, you’re willing to step into this vil?"

Su Yumian gasped in pain and struggled. "You're hurting me! Let go!"

Jiang Yihuai ignored her, his red eyes burning with anger. "Answer me! What exactly do you see me as? Some dog you can summon and dismiss at will?"

"Jiang Yihuai, you were the one who suggested breaking up—did you forget?! If we're talking about summoning and dismissing at will, isn’t that exactly what you used to do to me? What? Can’t handle a taste of your own medicine now?"

She pushed his hands away forcefully, unwilling to touch him. Her look of disgust only infuriated him more. Jiang Yihuai took a step closer. Su Yumian instinctively backed away, but her heel hit the sofa, and she lost bance, falling onto it.

Jiang Yihuai towered over her. A thin yer of sweat covered her face, making her cheeks flush. The tension made her bite her lip unconsciously, turning it an even deeper shade of red. Her chest rose and fell with her nervous breaths.

Memories of countless entangled nights fshed through his mind.

Heat surged through his body, and before he could think, he leaned down, searching for her lips. "Yumian…"

Su Yumian, both shocked and furious, turned away, pushing against his broad chest. "Jiang Yihuai! What the hell is wrong with you?! We already broke up!"

Jiang Yihuai ignored her resistance and pressed her down onto the sofa, his hands moving to remove her clothes.

Su Yumian clutched the hem of her dress tightly, refusing to let go. "Y-You… Stop…"

Her hoarse voice trembled with fear, like a trapped bird—desperate yet fragile. Jiang Yihuai’s body burned hotter. Giving up on her top, he slid his hand under her skirt instead.

Panicked, Su Yumian blurted out, "Jiang Yihuai! You can have any woman you want! Why force your ex-girlfriend?!"

"If you're that desperate, I can call Shi Muxi for you right now!"

  "Ah—don’t do this!"

Jiang Yihuai watched her struggle, her teary eyes filled with defiance and resistance, which only fueled his twisted desire.

"What? Just a few days apart and you've already forgotten how it feels? It’s not like you haven’t slept with me before—why act all pure now?"

Su Yumian trembled with rage. "You bastard!"

He sneered, gripping her chin. "You think leaving me makes you worth something? What idiot would take in a woman who's already been used?"

Tears streamed down her face uncontrolbly. Looking at the man she had loved for six years, she realized she had never truly known him.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Jiang Yihuai chuckled darkly, staring at her trembling lips. "Want me?"

Then, he crushed his lips against hers. Bit by bit, he pried her hands apart and ruthlessly tore her top. She was crying. He was ughing.

At that moment, Su Yumian finally understood the stark difference in physical strength between men and women.

Forget it… Just think of it as being bitten by a dog…

But just as despair consumed her, the weight on her body was suddenly lifted. A strong force yanked Jiang Yihuai off her. Caught off guard, he stumbled backward, smming into the cabinet before regaining his bance.

Shao Wenbai had waited too long for Su Yumian. Worried that the books were too heavy, he got out of the car and knocked on the vil’s door, intending to help. When Aunt Wang opened the door, he immediately heard the commotion upstairs. Without hesitation, he rushed up.

The moment he pushed open the door, he saw a man forcing himself on a struggling woman, ignoring her resistance.

Su Yumian’s dress was pushed up to her waist, her clothes torn, and despite her desperate struggles, all she could do was stare helplessly, tears streaming down her face.

In that instant, Shao Wenbai’s composure shattered.

  How dare he?!

"Are you okay?" He quickly removed his coat and draped it over Su Yumian, helping her sit up.

Her body trembled violently, her tear-streaked face void of its usual brightness. She looked lost, trapped in a nightmare she couldn’t escape.

"Su Yumian!" Shao Wenbai gripped her shoulders, his steady voice carrying a reassuring strength. "It’s okay. You’re safe now. Are you alright?"

  "Su Yumian!"

He called her name three times before she finally reacted, her gaze slowly focusing on his face. "S-Shao… Professor Shao…"

  She was still shaking.

Shao Wenbai’s warm hand gently stroked her back. "It's over. You’re safe now."

"…Mm!" She nodded forcefully, sobbing uncontrolbly.

Jiang Yihuai watched them embrace, his expression dark. Recognizing Shao Wenbai from the restaurant that day, he smirked maliciously.

"So it’s you… What number backup boyfriend are you? Pying the hero, huh—"

  Bang!

Before he could finish, a powerful fist crashed into his face.
