Chapter 3: Pyracantha
Earlier, from a distance, Hua Yun didn't pay much attention to the appearance of those three women. But when he walked in and took a closer look, even though Hua Yun had seen many beauties in his past life, he was still shocked by the beauty of these three people in front of him.
The female swordsman who had previously fought against the Flame Lion was kneeling on one knee, looking anxiously at the two girls lying on the ground.
One of the girls was wearing a red robe, with fiery red hair draped over her shoulders. Her right hand grasped a wooden staff adorned with a red gemstone on top. The back of her robe was torn open, and fresh blood kept gushing out from within, clearly indicating that she had suffered no small injury.
The female swordsman was currently sprinkling a yellow medicinal powder onto the wound on the red-haired girl's back, who was sweating profusely due to pain, but her eyebrows were still full of stubbornness, not making a sound.
Next to her, another girl was wearing a cyan long gown, with cyan silk-like hair tied back, lying on the ground, eyes slightly closed, pale face with eyebrows furrowed, unconscious. On her abdomen, there was a large patch of charred blackness on her gown, clearly showing that she had been scorched by flames before, in a state of disarray.
"This is Hua Yun's brother." Despite his deep concern, Ron introduced Hua Yun to the rest of Lisi's mercenary group.
"Fourth-tier Bronze Warrior Linda has seen Master Huayun, thank you for the previous life-saving favor!" The female swordsman turned her head and respectfully thanked Huayun with a face full of reverence.
"Second-class Fire System Mage Katherina has seen the master!" Katherina, gritting her teeth and enduring the pain, nodded at Huayun.
Hua Yun said calmly on the side: "You two don't need to be polite."
"How are Linda, Catherine and Luna?" Ron asked the female swordsman with some anxiety after introducing both parties. As the captain of the mercenary group, Ron should have a responsibility for the safety of his team members.
"Roen, Catherine's injuries are not too serious, we have medicine to treat wounds, although severe, but after a period of recuperation should be fine. However, Luna... " At this point, the female swordsman's face turned gloomy, "Luna was attacked by the fierce fireball explosion of the Blazing Lion, and Luna herself is a water system magician. Except for Luna alone, none of us know how to cast healing magic, nor do we have medicine to treat burns. Luna still hasn't woken up yet, I don't even know what to do!"
Upon hearing this, everyone including Lown couldn't help but fall silent. Originally, as the team's magician and healer, Luna was always given the best protection, but this time she was the first to get injured in the fierce attack of the Fire Lion. Now, people who can't use healing magic couldn't help but feel helpless.
"It's all because I didn't do enough!" Lys, who was standing by, looked extremely regretful. As an archer, he couldn't forgive himself for not being able to play a bigger role in this attack.
"Rays, don't blame yourself. As the captain, I should be responsible for not handling things quickly before, but now is not the time to talk about this. We don't have a healing magician, so let's think of a way to deal with Luna's injury!"
Although Ron was also filled with regret, as the team leader he couldn't lose his cool like ordinary people. From here to their starting point in Green Town was a journey of several days, and it was clear that going back wasn't a wise principle. At this juncture, they could only hope to find someone else to help them since none of them knew how to treat injuries.
However, everyone knew that in this mountain forest, it was impossible to meet people for the time being, which made Rown and others at a loss.
Feeling the atmosphere of concern from everyone, Hua Yun suddenly smiled slightly and said to everyone: "I have a method that might be able to save Miss Luona, but it's not very reliable..."
"What method?" Before Hua Yun could finish, Linda and the others couldn't help but shout out in unison. At this moment, they looked at Hua Yun as if a ship lost at sea had seen a lighthouse guiding the way, their faces full of expectation.
It was unexpected that Hua Yun, being so young, not only had great strength but also knew how to treat injuries. This made everyone look at him with a hint of mystery. Although Hua Yun didn't sound very certain, Linda and the others knew that Luna couldn't wait any longer. Even if there was only a glimmer of hope, they had to try.
Seeing the anxious and expectant expressions of the crowd, Hua Yun couldn't help but smile secretly, without saying a word. She immediately turned around and walked towards a nearby thicket of bushes.
The crowd that didn't know what Hua Yun was going to do didn't dare make a sound, they just looked at him with full of expectation on their faces, afraid of disturbing the young master's thoughts.
After searching in the bushes for a while, when Hua Yun came out again, she was already holding a small grass that looked ordinary in her hand.
"Take a good look at this plant in my hand. I need you to go around and find this kind of plant right now. This kind of plant usually grows in shrub clusters."
"Collect this plant?" Lai Si heard Hua Yun's words and was stunned for a moment, asking with a hint of doubt in his voice.
Hua Yun glanced at Leis, then looked at the puzzled eyes of Linda, Ron and Catherine, and said confidently: "This plant is called Huo Lin Cao, it has a very good therapeutic effect on burns."
Previously, Hua Yun said he wasn't confident enough, but that was just his politeness. After all, Hua Yun is a master of botany on Earth and naturally has an excellent understanding of the efficacy of some medicinal herbs. However, he didn't know if there were any differences between the burns caused by the fierce fire explosion on Luna's body and those on Earth.
After hearing Hua Yun's explanation, Ron immediately asked Linda to stay and take care of the injured Catherine and Luna, while he and Les quickly searched for the so-called fire scale grass in the bushes in the mountain forest.
Although the number of fire scales in this mountain forest is not many, it's also not a few. Under Roen and Les' quick collection, a small pile of fire scales appeared in front of Huayun in no time.
What was even more astonishing for Hua Yun was that on two of the fire scale grass, there were actually three bright red small fruits that looked like pearls.
Pineapple can effectively remove fire poison from the human body and is particularly effective in treating burns and scalds caused by flames.
