Chapter 03: Dungeon Monster Core, Fortification, & Dungeon Floor Boss
oOo
'A Dungeon Monster Core? What exactly is that?' I thought.
The Lime-Green Coloured Silk Moth【Dungeon Fairy 】having been able to always read my own thoughts then immediately answers my own question.
'I see. So it's basically just a western version of the traditional eastern Cultivation trope, but instead of spiritual qi energy is the more widely known magical power and mana instead.' I thought and commented towards the Lime-Green Coloured Silk Moth【Dungeon Fairy 】's statement instead.
Having grown slightly curious over the ongoing current subject of discussion, I simply asked my Lime-Green Coloured Silk Moth 【Dungeon Fairy 】a rather interesting question that I've got running along at top of my mind. "So how much mana energy or magical power does one at the Rad Grade Monster Core actually possess?"
'I see. Oh, that is so interesting.' I thought so towards myself, as I steadily wondered towards myself. 'With the fraction of magical power that I currently have. I wondered when I will be able to reach the pinnacle of magic extremity.'
The Lime-Green Coloured Silk Moth having already read my own thoughts outloud then immediately responded backwards towards my own statement by simply stating the obvious facts.
With that said and done, I then steadily recited the keyword outloud. "Create 1★ Dungeon Monster Core!"
Immediately after I have said this, intuitively due to my human/Insectoid Hybrid body being a Dungeon Lord, I am quite hyper sensitive towards the fluctuation of magical power and mana energy withinside my surroundings.
So when most of my Dungeon Points are used up to artificially create a 1★ Dungeon Monster Core. I am able to somewhat see or feel the invisible flow of mana energy steadily travelling within the air, as it then rapidly coalescent together to form a steady small mana vortex or whirlpool, right in front of me.
Not before long, a large interference from an unknown source then immediately got a hold of me. It's like my own body is steadily operating upon autopilot, whilst moving automatically by itself, without my own permission or consent.
My right dominant hand then immediately opens up, whilst showcasing my bare palm, as an invisible sort of force then immediately leaves from withinside my own body. As the unknown force then quickly connects with the small spinning mana vortex or whirlpool, right in front of me.
It's like watching a magic show, as the unknown force or entity that steadily taken over me then immediately applied some sort of force of pressure, thereby causing the small spinning mana vortex or mana whirlpool to then shrunk down and steadily compresses it down to the size of a small marble.
A white semi-transparent clear marble then immediately appears floating on top of the palm of my own right hand, as an unusually dense semi-invisible light bending fog is steadily being emitted off of the 1★ Dungeon Monster Core, which is condensed magical energy withinside its most rawest form.
Without even a need for a simple a discussion, I then simply selected the {Unnamed} Dirt Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster No.1 option, as the most obvious choice.
Without a second of thought, I then immediately pressed the [Proceed] button. Having already made up my mind beforehand when I actually chose to implant the artificial 1★ Dungeon Monster Core into the body of {Unnamed} Dirt Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster No.1.
The Dungeon System then immediately recognises my input decision, as the semi-transparent clear 1★ Dungeon Monster Core then immediately floats off from the palm of my own hand, and then fly like rocket straight towards the {Unnamed} Dirt Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster No.1's body.
The semi-transparent clear 1★ Dungeon Monster Core then seems passed through, phasing into the body of the {Unnamed} Dirt Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster No.1 and completely dissappearing from sight.
Without even need to say anything outloud, I then immediately opened the the Dungeon Main Interface Panel and then selected the Dungeon Master's Inventory Space Panel, before immediately taking out a One Time Used Monster Fortification Ticket.
I then immediately teared the One Time Used Monster Fortification Ticket in half, thereby activating the exclusive functions of the One Time Used Monster Fortification Ticket.
Without even the need for much further deliberation, I then decided to go all in and used everything upon the {Unnamed} Dirt Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster No.1.
This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
Upon having successfully evolved into a {Unnamed} Rock Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster, the Grade Evaluation and rarity of the Dungeon Monster remains slightly the same, but the {Unnamed} Rock Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster has a slightly much harder and denser exterior exoskeleton surface, as the gradual dirt accumulated body armour has now harden and thereby become more solid like actual rock.
'So what should I name my {Unnamed} Rock Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster with?' I thought, whilst at the sametime, asking my Lime-Green Coloured Silk Moth【Dungeon Fairy 】for her own opinion since she can actually read my own thoughts, without me having to say it outloud.
'Your name shall be Alphonse, named after a anime character from an old anime show that I used to watched. It's about two brothers who attempted to ressurect their biological mother with alchemy bit fails miserably, whilst one end up losing an entire arm and the leg. And the other becomes a soul that is eternally bounded to a suit of armour, via alchemy.' I thought so towards myself, as I then immediately saw the Dungeon System Notification display screen panel, thereby showcasing me the completion of the current Dungeon Tutorial Quest.
Going all in, I then decided to select {Alphonse} Rock Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster to be the 1st Floor Dungeon Boss of my own Dungeon.
I then immediately selected the [Proceed] button, without much further thought, {Alphonse} Rock Armoured Common Brown Ant ~ (Grade 1) Dungeon Monster's body is then suddenly enveloped withinside an intensely bright white-light. As he is now evolving further and steadily being turned into a Dungeon Floor Boss by the Dungeon System.
