Chapter 3: You wont understand even if I tell you

Chapter 3 says you don't understand either

In a small grove of trees beside the village, there was a simple wooden hut. At this moment, outside the hut on an open space, the great magician sat at a distance, watching a mother and son devouring roasted rabbit in silence.

Could it be that this mother and son have not eaten meat for a very long time?

The child's mother was fine, after all, she was a woman. Although it wasn't hard to tell that she was hungry, when eating the roasted rabbit, she still had some elegance and order. Even the great magician could see that this woman must have received some etiquette training, her demeanor carried a hint of nobility that only aristocrats possessed.

Could it be that this mother and son are of noble birth? But why have they fallen so low as to sell themselves in a tavern?

However, seeing the child's eating posture, the great magician couldn't help but dispel the idea in his mind again. Although this mother looked like a noble, the child not only didn't have any elegant temperament that nobles should have, but also had a... kind of plebeian aura.

  It's constipation!

Only to see Lin Feng's small body sitting casually in the grass, roughly tearing off a roasted rabbit leg and biting down fiercely. Looking at that fierce appearance, it seemed as if he had an irreconcilable feud with the roasted rabbit!

While desperately swallowing the roasted meat, the other hand picked up the water cup beside him and drank a few mouthfuls with his head thrown back, finally revealing a comfortable smile on his face. Then, he took another big bite of the roasted rabbit leg...

Nina beside him also saw Lin Feng's unseemly action, furrowed her brow and couldn't help but remind him: "Lin Feng, you're a noble, pay attention to your image."

  "I'm no aristocrat."

"I've never been a noble, I have nothing to do with the Parker family."

Eating while talking is obviously a very rude behavior, but Nina's expression darkened after hearing it, and she didn't continue Lin Feng's words.

Lin Feng saw the expression on his mother's face, slowly put down the roasted rabbit leg in his hand, swallowed the roasted meat in his mouth, and then apologized with a guilty look: "Sorry, Mother."

"It doesn't matter, it's all over."

Nina took a deep breath: "You're right, we're not nobles at all."

"Mother, believe me, I will definitely get justice for you!" Lin Feng clenched his small fist, his face full of determination: "One day, I will kill that guy!"

Nina let out a sigh after listening, but didn't say anything and just sat there in silence.

"Oh, are you guys done eating? Alright Lin Feng little guy, it's time for us to discuss some serious matters."

The great magician saw that the two had stopped eating and slowly stood up, wanting to walk towards them.

"I'll finish eating right away, Great Magician-sama, I'm truly sorry."

Lin Feng replied from afar and continued biting into the roasted rabbit leg in his hand.

The great magician was slightly stunned, didn't expect Lin Feng to answer like that, but then he smiled and thought of Lin Feng's strange magic, and nodded with a smile: "Okay... you eat now, when you're full go find me in the house."

Having said this, the great magician went straight into the house.

Nina gave Lin Feng a reproachful look, threw down the rabbit meat in her hand, stood up and rushed to the Great Magician, shouting: "Sorry, Great Magician, my child is too young and doesn't understand things, please don't be angry."

"Nothing much, just let the little guy come find me in the house after you've eaten your fill."

The great magician's back was already hidden in the dark room, only this faint voice came out.

Lin Feng saw this and innocently shrugged his small shoulders, calling out to Nina: "Mother, you quickly sit down and eat, I'm full."

As he spoke, he got up from the ground with a thud, casually picked up the silk handkerchief beside the water cup to wipe off the grease on his hands, and then turned around and walked into the wooden house.

"Lin Feng, you must be more polite to the great magician."

Nina gazed at her son's small back and hastily instructed him with a sentence.

  "Got it, Mother."

Rin returned a sentence, then softly sighed and said in a voice that only she could hear, "It seems to be a fire system magician... I don't know if there's an idiom 'playing with fire and wetting the bed' here."

After saying this sentence, Lin Feng felt a bit tasteless and couldn't help but shrug his shoulders.

A sigh appeared on the face of a ten-year-old child, looking somewhat out of place, but in this small forest, no one noticed.

As he walked into the house, Lin Feng straightened his back and looked at the great magician sitting aside fiddling with some jars and bottles. He cleared his throat and said solemnly: "Respected Great Magician Sir, I'm full."

Lin Feng felt a bit disgusted with some of the etiquette, but at least he understood his current situation and knew when to do what.

  "Oh?"

The great magician turned around, put down the bottles and jars in his hands, squatted down and stared at Lin Feng: "Little guy, tell me, what kind of magic is that? I've never seen it before."

  "That's not magic."

Lin Feng replied straightforwardly, his hands spread out, and his tone seemed to have a hint of helplessness: "This thing is called 'electric current'."

  "Uh... what is electricity?"

The old magician's eyes showed a hint of puzzlement, and he asked uncertainly: "Could it be a special kind of Dou Qi? But it doesn't seem quite like that either..."

Having said that, without giving Lin Feng a chance to speak, the great magician continued: "Little guy, release that thing again and let me take a look."

  "Alright."

Lin Feng stretched out a hand and placed it in front of the great magician, and with a faint "zizi" sound, a burst of electricity suddenly appeared on Lin Feng's palm.

The great magician looked at the thing called electric current in Lin Feng's palm with a strange gaze, stretched out a finger like a withered branch, and gently placed it on Lin Feng's palm.

  "Wow!"

The great magician only felt that the thing called electric current instantly passed through his fingertips and into his body, making him feel a numbness in his body, and subconsciously withdrew his fingers. He then asked suspiciously: "It feels so strange... Little guy, quickly explain to me what this thing called electric current is?"

He was a white-robed fire-elemental grand magician who had studied magic for his entire life, yet he had never seen the substance called electricity in Lin Feng's hands. Since this thing wasn't magic, there should be a concrete image of it, right? It was just an abstract name called "electricity", and he felt that he couldn't understand it at all.

Thinking of this, the great magician looked at Lin Feng with hopeful eyes, but Lin Feng's next sentence made him feel like vomiting blood!

"You won't understand even if I tell you!"

Lin Feng made sure the great magician in front of him was not injured, then faintly replied with a sentence. After that, seeing the great magician's somewhat stiff expression and feeling a bit embarrassed, he quickly changed the subject: "Respected Great Magician Sir, I still don't know what magic is or its specific classification, only knowing you are a great fire-system magician. Can you explain to me the system of magicians first? Maybe electricity is also a kind of magic?"
